Hi all, I'm new to the forum and am happy to have found it. I live in Sydney Australia. I joined WW 3 weeks ago and am doing well. I have a lot to lose, but am determined. I am also diabetic so this is really more about my health than about my looks.

One question I have after looking though the forum is around points and if they are the same globally... is one point in the US the same as 1 point in Europe and Australia? I have seen some posts where people say they are on 30 or 35 points but here in Australia I thought it went up to 26 points only for those over 140 kilos. So what is it when people say they are on 30 or 35? It makes me concerned that the program is different in different countries?

Also, I wondered if there was an area on here especially for diabetics? I couldn't find one.

Cheers
Sweetie from Sydney

Yes, the points are different depending where you live. I am in Sydney too and here we are given a set amount of points based on your current weight whereas in the US they are given a points range and this is what you have been seeing, ie. 30-35pts. I suggest not worrying about how things are everywhere else, just work the programme how we know it. It's a great programme and it does work, if you work too.

I've lost 16.3kg (35.8lbs) and am now doing maintenance. Stick with it and you will see results.

G'day Sweetie, don't worry about the program being different in the US to us, you'll get used to seeing the differences. Just make sure you follow the program as you know it graemlins/wave.gif

UK has set points like us and I'm pretty sure that the European countries do to :D

It a program that works where ever you live graemlins/bcbsalute.gif
