Hello Aussie buddies smile.gif

In a few weeks I will visit Australia for the first time ever and I am so excited!!! Can you tell me - do you have Weight Watchers products in supermarkets in Australia (we don't have any in Germany). If yes, is there anything in particular that you can recommend? Any other low-point food that is worth buying? Thanks for your help!

Love from Germany,

Heja

G'day from Australia!! You'll really enjoy your stay here in our beautiful country (which at the moment is devastated by bushfires in some areas, and floods in others!!)...

I don't buy many WW products, but they are readily available in supermarkets. My favourite low joule products are the Nestle Diet range. They have the WW points written on the packages. My favourites are the yoghurts (Passionfruit Cheesecake  ) and the Creme Caramels. At only 1 point each, they are a great treat!

Have a great time here! Where are you travelling to?

G'day, where abouts are you travelling to????

As alleycat said we do have WW products in the supermarket, only thing I like of theirs is 'Apricot Cereal Bars' have one every morning. I prefer to make my own stuff, I find all that packet stuff can tend to taste the same. There's meetings all over the place, so you'll be able to attend one, if that is your intentions.

Maybe I'll see you around graemlins/crazy.gif graemlins/bcbsalute.gif

Hey Alleycat, I haven't heard much about any floods, probably due to that we've been raveged by bushfires something chronic down here, and rain, virtually forget what that looks like. You got severe rain up you're way??????????????

Hi Alleycat and Biz,

I'm flying into Brisbane (via Singapore). My Uncle lives close to Brisbane and my youngest cousin is getting married. I'm so much looking forward to this visit, it is like a dream come true.

Thanks for your answers. One point caramel creme sounds terrific - definitely something to check out!

Bye for now,

Heja

Severe rain Bizz!! Tropical Cyclone Beni degenerated into a rain depression. Flooded Central Queensland, and it has now been raining constant in NQ for 3 days!

Can't complain though, we need the rain desperately - as everywhere else does, so flood is better than drought, right?

Have no idea how I missed that one Alleycat, I suppose because the bushfires down here have been pretty bad, had one burning for nearly 6 weeks. Unbelieveable that one can burn for so long, the fireman are still unable to contain it. Fireman from sth aus have come over to give our guys a break and the kiwis have also flown over to help too!

Have to admit I haven't been watching as much news as usual, am fed up with hearing possilbe war etc.... don't need to finish my day with all negativity :D

Hi Barca,

How are you!! Great to "see" you again smile.gif I have not been around much lately, mainly because I've been very busy at work. It is good to see some familiar names. Hope you are feeling much better now than the last time we spoke.

Love,

Heja

G'day Heja graemlins/wave.gif

if you get the opportunity, I really recommend you visiting the Gold Coast, especially Surfers Paradise, that is my absolute favourite spot!!! My family is off there once again a later this year for a couple of weeks, most likely our last family holiday together, as the kids are getting older and working now, well except for the youngest his in his last year of high school :D

Hi Australian buddies, I'm in Adelaide South Australia and it is very dry and we are having water shortages here.

I'm very new in BCB and slowly feeling my way around the site and it was great to see buddies from my part of the world.
