hi everyone. i went to the weightwatchers.ca site and this is what the fees are. (im in canada btw)

Regular Seniors and Students *
Registration Fee $23.00 $19.00
Weekly Fee $15.00 $13.00
Total Due at First Meeting $38.00 $32.00
PREPAYMENT PLANS: (the prices don't include the registration fees)
5 Week Prepayment Plan** $74.00 $64.00
12 Week Prepayment Plan** $162.00 $138.00
Semi-Annual Membership** $312.00 $260.00
Annual Membership** $572.00 $468.00
*Senior rates apply to those 60+. Students must be full-time to receive reduced rates.
**Registration fees apply to new members.
Current members are responsible for missed meeting fees.
Lifetime members are never required to pay a missed meeting fee.
VISA, MasterCard, American Express and cash will be accepted. Prices include all applicable taxes.

Note**the first rate is for regular seniors and the second rate is for students. i'm 16 so how much would i pay just to get the starter kit and not go to the meetings? do i pay the registration fee even tho i wont go to meetings? please help me! lol thanks!

You'd pay $32, and your first meeting is included. So after the meeting, stay and have the leader explain the program to you.

It looks as if there are different prices for different parts of Canada. I work for WW in BC and our rates currently are:
$22 (half price) for joining and first meeting.
$12 per week for Seniors and Youths (under 18)
$14 per week for all other members.
Of course there are also coupon offers where you can buy 4, 8, or 12 coupons at a bit of a savings.
The cookbooks, calculators and other products are on top of the joining/weekly meeting fees.
