I grew up in a little town called Carleton Place, about half an hour west of Ottawa. I lived in Kanata for a bit and then moved to where I am now - Kitchener (about an hour west of TO). I miss Ottawa though! We go back as much as we can - DH's family is still in Carleton Place.

I know where Carleton Place is! I went to college with a girl from there, too. We were really close then, but lost track when we graduated! She used to work at Hersey, I think?

I'm in London, just down the 401 from most of you. I do have a brother and sister-in-law up north of Ottawa in Chalk River.
