I am creating this challenge to get myself closer to my 10% goal. I had set a personal date of June 8th (Tues, my WI day) to reach my 10%, 22.4 pounds. I had a gain last week and now I'm not sure if I can reach my 10% by the date I picked but I'm going to try.

This challenge will run May 2nd until June 12th which is 6 weeks.

Week 1~~May 2-8
Week 2~~May 9-15
Week 3~~May 16-22
Week 4~~May 23-29
Week 5~~May 30-June 5
Week 6~~June 6-12


Anyone want to join me?

I'm going to pledge 8-12 pounds. That will put me close to or at my 10% I weigh in on Tuesdays.

Beginning weight (April 27th) 213.6

Week 1~~May 4...Lost 3.8 (I'm not in the teens anymore!! :D )
Week 2~~May 11...Gained 3.2 (TOM) :mad: (back in the teens)...total -.6
Week 3~~May 18...lost 3.0...total -3.6
Week 4~~May 25...lost 1.4...total -5
Week 5~~June 1...gained .4 (had to WI at home, scales read 1/2 pounds)...total -4.6
Week 6~~June 8...lost 1...total -5.6

I'm gonna join ya -- see how much of these last 10 I can be rid of!! I'm going to go for a pound a week. My weigh in is on Saturday so . . .

5/15: 0 (ARRGGHHH!!!!)
5/22: 0 (so glad I can be such a contributing member to this endeavor!! OY!!)

I'm right there with you!!! My personal goal was Onederland by my birthday, June 5. I still have 13 to go...and am going to try my darndest!

Hi Ladies... I'm In as well I wanted to reach Onederland by June 4th(DH & I's 10th Wedding Ann), But I will put my pledge til the end of this 6 weeks is to lose 8 lbs and make it to Onderland, If I make it before hand wonderful, If not thats Okay too (I say this because I know I'm a slowwwww Loser...lol) ;) ...

Starting Weight ~ 207.0lbs (Sat WI's)
Week 1~May 2-8 ~ +1.2lbs = 208.2lbs (TOM :( )
Week 2~May 9-15 ~ -1.8 = 206.4lbs (Yay About Time :D )
Week 3~May 16-22 ~ Maintained
Week 4~May 23-29 ~ +0.6 = 207.0lbs (argh... :rolleyes: )
Week 5~May 30-June 5 ~ Was Out Of Town, Didn't WI
Week 6~June 6-12 ~ +0.6 = 207.6lbs (Tom :mad: )

Can I join in? I have had such a bad month of not losing - of course I'm not gaining which is good. I just need a good losing streak. I'm hoping for a pound a week.

Week 1~May 2-8 (lost 1.2 lbs)140.00
Week 2~May 9-15 (gained .8 lbs) :mad: 140.8
Week 3~May 16-22 (lost 1 lb)139.8 now
Week 4~May 23-29 (lost 1.4 lbs) 138.4

I'm in.......I'm in. graemlins/crazy.gif I'm shooting for 6 lbs. My weigh in is on Saturday.

Starting weight - 162

Week 1 - May 8th - maintained = 162
Week 2 - May 15th - maintained = 162
Week 3 - May 22nd - plus 2 = 164 TOM :mad:
Week 4 - May 29th
Week 5 - June 5th
Week 6 - June 12th

I am game! I have lost 11 lbs so far. I started in February. The good thing is that I've go from a size 20 to a size 16-18. I just really need to be remotivated. I pledge to lose at least 5 lbs by June 12th. I am so excited.

Oooooh! Count me in! I need a challenge to get my butt in gear.

I am hoping to reach goal by my 24th birthday (9 1/2 weeks! :eek: ) so I think I'll pledge 8-10 pounds. If I put down a range, it's easier for me to deal with!

I really don't think I am going to make my June goal...I have really been having a tough time lately. Not sure why, but I am trying to shake things up and jumpstart my losses!

Hello I'm in too.
Hoping to get back to 123 and to maintain or lose more. Have a lot of eating situations during this time.
Last week my wt was 127.5
I'm already down to 124.

week 1
week 2-start challenge 124
week 3-126- darn TOM
week 4=128- hey i want to go the other way :confused:
week 5- 127- early wi due to going to dad's memorial service this week. graemlins/sobbing.gif
week 6- 130-had been more yesterday 132- but am recommitted to this life style.
final week- 128lbs. - 2 lbs
TOTAL for challenge: +4lb from starting wt

Yeah! A new challenge!!! I'm so in! I want to lose 10 pounds. I been bouncing up and down with it for the last few monthes and it's time for it to go!

***Althought I didn't reach my goal, I'm very happy with the 7.2. I averaged 1.2 a week with no gain. Thanks so much for the challenge, I had a lot of fun!

I'm a slow loser and not very consistent, but my goal is 4-5 lbs.

Week 1~~May 4: -1.2 lbs
Week 2~~May 11: 0 (Better than a gain!!)
Week 3~~May 18: -3.4 lbs
Week 4~~May 25: -1.2 lbs
Week 5~~June 1: +0.6 lbs (Not bad for Memorial weekend in Chicago)
Week 6~~June 8

Challenge Total: -5.2 lbs!!!

I am new to the board, I would love to join the challenge. This might just be the right thing to get the weight moving. My Goal is 10 lbs.

I am in too, would like to get below 150, that puts me within 5 pounds of my lifetime goal. Have had gains the last couple of weeks, but I am optimistic. I will pledge 6 pounds, which would put me under 150.

Week 1~~May 2-8 up .5, not bad for vacation in New Orleans
Week 2~~May 9-15 lost 2, that makes 1.5 for challenge
Week 3~~May 16-22 lost another 1.5, that makes 3 for the challenge
Week 4~~May 23-29 maintained, better than a gain, 3 total for the challenge
Week 5~~May 30-June 5 maintained again, total of 3 lost for the challenge
Week 6~~June 6-12 finally lost, 1.5 pounds, 4.5 for challenge

I'd like to join in here. I have been on a plateau since the end of the year and I am trying SO HARD right now to jumpstart my weightloss again. I've joined a gym and am participating in a class twice a week and have lowered my points by 2 a day. My goal will be 3 lbs in 6 weeks.

Well, looks like we had several drop out of this challenge but most everyone that stuck with it had good losses! A big congrats to all the losers! And a super graemlins/bcbsalute.gif to Mrs Peterson with a whopping 7.2 loss (the highest loss of those that stuck the challenge out till the end)!
