This is the place to post your August Goals. So start thinking of what you may need to do to better yourself durning the month of August.

Lets see some good goals.

What do you want? How are you going to get it? How are you going to keep yourself motivated?

Hello all, my goal for August is to get in an extra cardio day at the gym. I would like to add an extra 45 minutes a week. Wish me luck!

Here is a start for my August 2003 Goals

I am doing abdominal crunches daily. I am strenghth training 3 times a week and walking 1 or 2 hours a day. Each day I have recorded my accomplishments in my Excercise Log Book to monitor my progress. I have planned my meals and snacks to keep me OP during the challenge of Marching Band Camp. I have kept my water intake at 96oz a day. I have journaled my food daily. I kept my appointment for Aug 26th (kids first day back to school) to check out the local gym. By doing these things I have toned my upper body and have lost 10lbs. I now can fit comfortably into the Faded Glory capris that Lori gave me. I will look wonderful in my new dress and will enjoy a romanitic Anninversary Dinner with my DS on Sept 4th.

I will read my goals daily and will report into BCB. Each day I will tell myself that I can do this. I will make the choice each day to be the winner that I am.

My goals are within my reach.

Hi, my goal is exercise: average 18 AP's a week. I know compared to some of you that isn't much, but it's a big improvement for me compared to when I first started this journey. For July, I averaged 15.25 points a week. (In May my average was 5.6 per week!) This would be a reasonable increase. I will start working on my upper body in addition to the walking I've been doing. Gotta get some muscles!

Well, obviously, to stay OP!!!

I'll be moving to a city and I'll have limited funds, so if I can find a good jogging route then great, and if not I can't afford a gym (walking doesn't do anything for me) so I'll have to figure something out for my cardio. However, I do pledge to continue my strength training and my pilates, AND to reach goal by September.

August Goals (not dreams, not wishes, not hopes...but goals...gotta know the difference...because it makes a whole lot of difference)

My August goals are:

*stay OP
*walk 6 days/week
*journal (in addition to my food journal, a journal where I remind myself of this commitment)
