Good Morning Buddies,
Gosh, I can't believe that July is almost over! Man, this summer has flown past me. I think we only have three more weeks of summer vacation and then the kids will be back in school. But as you can tell, I haven't gotten the hang of sleeping in. Both kids are at a sleepover, the cats left me alone and I'm still up at 5 o'freakin clock in the morning! Sheesh! Oh well, at least it gives me time to post to my buddies!
What is everyone up to today? I'm heading to Greenville to take a Christmas Card class at my favorite stamping store. I'm looking forward to it - it should be a lot of fun. Stampers are generally a cheerful people and these classes turn into giggling fests! I've been making Christmas cards for about two weeks now - nothing like getting into the Christmas spirit early!
Happy OP Saturday,
Karen

Morning Buddies,
It is a beautiful day here. I went for my morning walk. It makes you feel good to start the day off with some excercise.
I have some housework to catchup on. Then I need to plan out some meals and make a shopping list.
Karen, I am also a stamper. I love to make cards and do scrapebooking. I just don't have the time to do spend doing it like I would like to. I have always planned on makeing myself a craftroom. But I aways end up on the dinningroom table. Hope that you had a fun class.
CeCe, I took a look at your pictures. You look great. I am so encouraged. I know that I can do it. I think that I am well on my way. I have to remember small steps. I like to make the short term goals. They help me stay focused.
I would like to hear your story. Like, what made you decide that this was the time to loss wt? How you chose ww? Did you ever go to meetings or just did it at home? What was you average weekly wt loss? I would also like to run a 5k some day.
Play a game of tennis. Ride a bike again. The list could go on. Why don't you do a post with your story?
Have a great OP day.

Question for you all. On the daily thread do you all check it back for replys?

Hi All,
Let me introduce myself...my name is Tiger and I do WW from home. I started back in Spetember 2002 and stayed on til mid October, then again from Jan. 25th - March 10th. All together I lost a grand total of 20lbs! Now, I'm back for another shot at it. A lot happened after March 11th...I moved to a totally new city (3 provinces away from my family and friends) and I found it very difficult to "find myself", find work, find meaning in moving, and to stay motivated. but I finally have me back on track again and here I am.
I started WW full fledge last Sunday (July 12th) and am here to stay! I weighed in on Sunday as 165lbs and as of this morning, I am down to 158lbs! YIPPEE!! My goal is set at 145lbs (for now..it may go lower...I'm 5'8"). I'm exercising this time around, and heavily as I want to start to get some nice muscle tone.
I generally post on the Terrific 20's board and the Daily Thread and was wondering if you all mind if I post here as well? I need all the motivation and suppport I can get! One can never have too many "BUDDIES"! You can see from my posts on T20's that I am extremely motivated when I get with the program! I believe WW is a way of life and not a diet! It is because I believe this that when I go off program, I am able to maintain my weight within 1-2lbs!
Have a great journey today everybody!!! graemlins/crazy.gif

Hi all, It's been awhile since I've popped in on the Daily Thread. I guess sometimes I don't feel like I have that much to contribute, so I just lurk.
Karen - Sleeping in has never been a problem for me when I'm allowed to do it! lol I wish I could have slept in this morning, I got little to no sleep last night. Not sure why.
I love rubber stamps, but haven't gotten into it as a hobby... my quilting takes up way to much of my time as it is! smile.gif It sure is fun, though.
CeCe - literacy class? Sounds interesting. As a librarian of course I am interested in that. I'd love to hear more about it. smile.gif
Joyce - Well, as I said before, I don't post much on the daily thread..but when I do, I do check back to see if anyone has made any comments or replys to something i've said.
Tiger - great job on getting back on track. That can be hard!
As for me, I'm working today. tongue.gif Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but working Saturdays can be hard sometimes. The good thing, though, is that we close at 5pm. Heh heh.
I'm wondering how WI will go tommorrow... I sorta lost track of time, and didn't realize that this week was TOM. Usually I get cramps a day or so before or the day of... this time I didn't. I'm wondering if it could be because of the regular exercise? I hope so. I won't expect much of a loss this week... I usually gain or maintain at TOM. But of course I'll be happy to be surprised!

Hi Buddies, Well, better late than never. What a busy day I've had. First I am still on a high from yesterday. It was my birthday and I had a fabulous day and had a great NSV at Kohls. I found a cute black dress with white polka dots and it was a size 8. I couldn't believe it fit, so of course I had to get it. LOL Today, I spent the morning with my youngest DD as the other two kids and DH went to soccer practice. DH is the coach of the schools varsity soccer team. Then this afternoon we got our landscaping done. I'll try and get some pictures posted. It looks so good, I am really happy with how it turned out. DH was laughing and saying that he has grown attached to brown dirt, but I said forget it. That dirt has been around long enough. (We pulled the old stuff up last year and have just had dirt to look at) The only bad thing about the whole day was tonight we noticed our lamp post light did not light up after dark. DH just changed the top with a new one a few weeks ago, so we know there shouldn't be a problem. Well it seems the wire wasn't down far enough (a problem the original builder should have corrected) and our landscaper must have cut the wire with the tiller. So now DH will have to dig around and find where it needs replaced. I hope it's not where any shrubs are, we'll have to see. Well, I need to get to bed.
Hi Karen, CeCe, Tracy, Joyce (I always check back)
Tiger - Hi! Good to see you posting here. How are the exercises working out for you? Let me know if you have any questions.
Take care, Linda
