Good Morning Buddies!
What a beautiful day we had yesterday! I think we are supposed to have the same weather for the next few days.
Today I go to my chardologist for a heart stress test. They are doing this to check my heart, he said he does not think anything is wrong, but is just checking because of my family history. So I guess I will be running on the treadmill this afternoon.
I did my 3 mile run this morning, I think I am slowing down, I need to check my timing.
This thread has been real slow lately!! I know is slows down during the summer, but we are close to going backwards!!
Come on Buddies! Jump on in and let us know something about you! If youare struggling - let us help!! We all have been through it and we can help!

Morning buddies. I'm gearing up for a busy weekend, getting things ready for the drive to Florida next week when we move my DH for the new job. I'm so sad that we will be separated for weeks at a time with weekend visits a couple times a week -- but know we will make it just fine. I'm always trying to look at the positive side of everything and I figure that one positive of this situation is that it will be much easier for me to stay OP if the only person I am cooking for is myself. Plus, I'm really anxious for my DH to see the results of my efforts every 2-3 weeks. I think the changes to my body will be more apparent to him if he is not seeing me every day.
CeCe -- you are truly an inspiration!

Hi WW@Home Buddies, I am so glad to be home. I have spent the last 3 days at the hospital with my 14year old DS. He had a very bad asthma attack and spent two days in the ICU and 1 day on the floor. He is doing much better now. PTL
It was a challange for me to be away from home and deal with vending machines and cafeteria food. I was able to take bottle water with me. I also took fruit and some TLC crackers. I am proud that I made some good choices with eatting in the cafeteria. They had a nice salad bar. Baked boneless white chicken (I removed the skin), fat free yogurt, fruit cups. I did my journaling and a lot of reading. My husband would give me a break so I would go home and take a walk shower and back a change of clothes for the next day. Of course I am tired. You never get much sleep in a hospital. The pullout bed wasn't too bad.
CeCe, I hope that you stress test went well.
Julie, Welcome graemlins/wave.gif
June2003, If I haven't already welcomed you, welcome graemlins/wave.gif
I am going to have to catchup on the post that were made over the last few days.
Have a great OP Day.

Hi Buddies, getting on here a little late today. I have had an awesome day. First it's my birthday and my kids surprised me when I came home from physical therapy today with a cake (didn't have the heart to tell them I didn't want one) and a birthday sign. Then DH took the kids out and I headed out to get a gift for my twin sister and my friend who also has a birthday this week. The three of us always go out together to celebrate every year. Then I headed over to Kohls and I found a black sundress with polkadots, I had been wanting one. Best of all it was a size 8 and it fit. I can't remember the last time I wore an 8. I told DH I got it and even if I neve wear it I'm happy just to have something hanging in my closet that's a size 8. LOL Really I think I'll wear it on Sunday when my sister, friend and I go out to dinner.
Not to touch on something CeCe mentioned. I too have noticed a lack of traffic here on the @ home board. I don't notice it on the other boards so I think part of the problem is we here are doing it on our own. But buddies please don't give up. Look at CeCe, she did it, so can you. We are all here going through the same things and we need each other. Instead of quiting, make a plan, committ to it and Just DO IT. I love the fact that there are buddies who have done this on thier own and have made goal. I hope to post soon that I have made goal, but I know I couldn't have gotten as far as I have without BCB and my buddies here. So come back, we miss you.
CeCe - Hope the tests came out fine for you.
Julie - Glad to have you join us. You can do this.
Mel - Did you find some good bargains at the fabric store?
June - How long will you and DH be seperated? Are you planning on moving to Fl too? Which part?
Joyce - DS will be in my prayers. Glad he's home now. Congratulations on staying OP even in that stress filled time.
Take care all, Linda
