Good morning all my buddies!
I hope you all had a good weekend and are feeling refreshed and ready to go this Monday morning! I on the other hand can't exactly share those sentiments, LOL, I don't think I slept more than 2 or 3 hours last night and boy can I feel it today. Ugh. graemlins/ugh.gif I don't understand why, I just couldn't stay asleep, every little thing woke me up. Except of course when it was actually time to get up, at that point I was finally sleepy.
Well enough of my whining! This Saturday as you all probably know by now, I made my goal. So I have been on maintenance since Sunday, and it seems to be going OK so far. I didn't get enough water to drink yesterday, which wasn't good, but meal-wise I did well with my points. Today should be better, since I'm at work, I find it easier to get my water in when I'm here than when I'm home.
Today I'm going to buy my first package of part-skim cheese since starting WW! I want to have an omlette for dinner, and I want some cheese in it smile.gif So I am definitely looking forward to that. What I REALLY want to buy and eat some of is Brie cheese but I think it is too early on for me to take the chance, it is definitely a red-light food for me since I love it so much.
I was hoping to go for a jog this afternoon, but I'm not sure I'll be able to because I'm so tired! Maybe I will just go home and take a nap first, and then see if I feel up to jogging.
This weekend DH and I finally went to work on the yard, and mowed all of it (front lawn, back yard, side of the house, spot between the road and the fence, etc). I also spent about 1/2 hour weeding the garden - I don't know WHAT the previous owners were thinking but they planted buttercups IN THE GARDEN - and they are such an awful weed - pretty, yes, but they spread so fast and choke everything in their path. So I think I have eliminated them for now but I will be very vigilant to make sure they don't come back smile.gif Then I will have to think of some non-hostile perennial to put where the big, empty space is now! Any suggestions?
Well, I'd better get back to working, or at least trying to stay awake graemlins/sleep.gif
Take care buddies graemlins/wave.gif

Good Morning Buddies!
Back to reality today! graemlins/sobbing.gif
Vacation was great! Hurricane and all. We only had 2 days of rain, but only part days. The resort was great, the food was ok. My kids made some friends and we hardly saw them, so DH and I spent a lot of time alone. Which is rare, but it was great. We ran each morning 3 miles,(except for 3) hot, but got up early enough that it was still ok to run.
I gained 3 lbs., which I totally expect to gain more. Everything was made with butter, had a sauce on it etc., so I made the bext choices I could. I will lose the weight this week. I did get in my water each day.
Mel: Exercise does give you energy! Hope you get a good night sleep tonight.

Good morning Buddies,
I had a great weekend. I enjoyed my Sat girls day out. We went to a Pottery Show in Cambridge. We didn't know what to expect. There were dealers from all over the States. Most of the items were collectors and from artist that I had no knowledge of. Needless to say they were very pricey. We did stop at some Pottery outlets in Zanesville. These shops were more to our likeing. They were having a Tent sale. Also had Fiesta dishes at a good price. They were factory 2nds. But I am not having the Duchess of York for dinner anytime soon. They are good enoug for my familys everday use.
I was also able to visit five more of the Ohio Bicentennial Barn. I just love to drive thru the farmland. I appreciate the hard work and the good live that all the farmers do. I now have photographed 39 Barns. Just 58 more to do.
Had nice lunch at Bob Evans. I was able to stay OP. Drank all my water and even got my walking in that day.
Sunday after church we went out to Max and Ermias for my sons Birthday Dinner. I was able to find a menu listing with the points online. So I had my order ready to go. I had a No Guilt Garden Grill with a fruit bowl. It was big. I cut it in half to make it easier to handle and also easier to stop when I was full. I ate half and one bite of the other. Took the rest home and finished it for a snack. Points 9. Not to bad.
Linda, thanks for suggesting the Walk away the pounds tape. I will look into find it.
As the morning norm...I had a good hour walk, Showered, Had my Kaashi Good Friends Cereal, and getting ready to run some erands.
It would be a nice day to sit by the pool. But the maid is off this week ;) So I must take over the cleaning duty.
Hope that all had a wonderful weekend and a great Monday. Its the start of another week. Lets make it a good one. Stay OP.

Afternoon, everyone. I'm a bit confused and don't know where I should really be calling "Home" here on BCB. I started WW @ Home last week and find myself checking in on this board, and on the 40s board. Do most of you frequent more than one thread...and if so...do you limit your daily posts to just one board?
I guess until I learn the ropes a bit more...I will post my daily post here...as copied from the 40s board. smile.gif
Since this is my first daily thread, I will not do personals. I'm going to do my best to get to know each of you so I can send personals as well -- but for now, it would take me forever and lots of little notes to remember who wrote what (maybe that's why I'm on the 40s board. graemlins/ugh.gif
My weekend was fairly uneventful. My husband has accepted a job in Tampa, FL (we live in central Texas) so we spent most of the time online researching area apartments and calling classifieds in hopes that we can get him housed in pretty short time. While he takes on this new job away from home, I will manage things at our home and will relish in frequent visits (hopefully every two or three weekends). I keep trying to look at the up side of this...great professional opportunity for him...and remind myself the couples deal with separation all the time. But, dang...I'm gonna miss my man so much!
I complete my first week OP tomorrow. I have to admit, I have been stepping on the scale all week long just to see my progress and I'm thrilled. I get to post my WI weight tomorrow...and think it will be just at 5 pound down! Now, I know that a LOT of that is contributed to the amount of water I'm consuming...but still...it's a great motivator to see any loss at all. Plus, I'm finding that this program is not difficult at all for me to follow...not once did I have to adjust anything so I didn't go over points. I can (and will) be successful at this as so many of you have.

Hi June 2003, I just moved in here not long ago. I post in different areas. Goals and Countdowns, Daily Weigh Ins, or in an area that my be best for a question. I am also on the WW @ Home Program and think that this the place I should be. I like to encourage others and find encourage from a lot of post on the BCB. Some may not have bought the program and are using information that they find online, from friend or they used to attend meetings and are now doing it on their own. Well we are never alone here at BCB.
I find that making the short term and monthly goals help. Small steps. I am glad to have a place to be accountable. That is why I post in the Goals and Countdown area. If you haven't check it out.
I also am trying to learn the other Buddies. I will have to find away to keep them straight. They are all nice and supportive.
If I can add you on this Journey just ask.
graemlins/bcbsalute.gif to a great first week OP.

Afternoon buddies! Today I feel lousy. I have an upset stomach and feel bloated, gassy and nauseus (lovely picture of me, I know) I have been mostly drinking water today since I don't want to get dehydrated but the smell of food just makes me feel even worse. Any sugestions as to what I may eat in a situation like this?? http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/kao/otn/pnoodles.gif
And is very hot here so please don't say soup!!
mel - I know nothing about gardening so I'm no help... I think I could just as well do as the last owners did and plant some weeds and wouldn't know the difference. Hope you ge tsome rest tonight!! http://smilies.crowd9.com/kao/otn/pmoonsleep.gif
kdsrme - Welcome back!! 3 lbs is not too bad after a vacation, especially since you really didn't have much of a choice food wise. I'm sure they will be gone before you know it. http://smilies.networkessence.net/s/kao/otn/pmimikira.gif
Band Mom - I have never ever tried pottery in my life, I don't think my motor skills are fully developed yet to pull something like that off. http://www.gamers-forums.com/smilies/kao/otn/psad.gif
june - I also post in different areas here in BCB. I consider this my home since I do WW from home but I also post in at least 3 more boards constantly. There are no rules as to where you should or shouldn't post. It all dependds on your interest and situations. Welcome aboard!! http://burns.thefinaldimension.org/kao/otn/pstars.gif

Welcome June!
I am a board-hopper, my plan of action is usually to post to the Daily thread in both the Terrific 20's and the WW@Home boards, then I check out the "today's active posts" and reply to whatever I feel I can contribute to. Sometimes if I have lots of time (on those really quiet mornings at work) I read through the last day's posts in each board (except the recipe ones usually).
There is one trick that makes personals very easy smile.gif When you log in to BCB, and then reply to a post (for example, the daily thread) your reply is in the box near the top of the page. The rest of the thread so far is actually displayed near the bottom of the page! So if you scroll down, you can read what everyone else wrote WHILE you are typing your reply. It definitely helps with getting the right names to go with the comments (I still get confused sometimes and I've been here since May!). Let me know if that makes sense to you, it has definitely made my life easier.
Well I'm off to bed now (darn night shift!) so I'll see you all bright and early in the AM!
