I am back everyone. I have updated everyones loses. Some of you are still not reporting. I am giving you one week to start reporting or I'm taking your name off the list because so many people have joined and it's not fair to them that they don't get teth attention they deserve for losing. It's easy to say you are going to join a challenge but not reporting it here or helping support each other. I would rather give the attention to those who care. Sorry to sound harsh but I just spent an hour updating and getting mixed up because some people havevn't reported anything.

Well, my 15.6 pledge is down 2.4 as of this past Sunday (7/6)... leaving me 13.2 left to go. I can do that in 11 weeks! And if I don't, it won't be because I didn't TRY. :D

I lost another .5 pounds, bringing my challenge total to 4 pounds. Slow and steady...slow and steady...slow and steady.
I'm going to try an experiment and not weigh in next week (TOM-predictable but discouraging none-the-less small gain). I'll report back the following week if I'm in town.

Hey!!! Count me in too!! I pledge to lose 10 lbs by Labor Day. I just started WW at home with Dh and am finding it alot easier to do on my own. I don't do well with pressure and this way, I dont feel like a failure if I dont lose that week. 10 pounds will put me at 177 and I cant wait. Thanks for starting this challenge!!!

YAhhhhoooo!!!!! Down ANOTHER 2.4 this week! And what's been the difference for me, after weeks of slow or no gains? Two things: honest journalling, and **exercise**. I knew intellectually that exercise was the key, but I guess before I kept hoping to fool my body. Now I'm working out and my body is responding..

I have had an awful couple of weeks, I can only report -1 lbs. I will start over again journaling and walking, I hope to have a better lost to report next week.

Awesome week! Lost 3.8 lbs for total of 9.8 total during challenge. I am very surprised as this is the week prior to TOM when I don't lose very much. ..wonder what will happen next week then!! :confused:

Oh my gosh...my first week at sampling the new FlexPlan and I am down 3.0 pounds! Is this a coincidence or is it truly a difference in how our bodies handle this new way of feeding itself? Whatever it was, I would absolutely LOVE to see this repeated! But, without sounding too greedy, I am happy with any loss from week to week.

Alas, I have remained the same, which is fine. I confess to not having made the effort to exercise this past week. :( It also TOM this week, so staying the same is better than a gain! ;)

wafa- I am moving to california this week and will not have a computer to use for about 2 weeks. I will update my weight as soon as we get our "stuff". This is a military move, so you never know if you will get it right away, or if it will go into storage and you have to wait! No change in weight this weei.

hi there since I start on 070703 and I am meeting with a personal trainer 3x a week I decided to weigh myself every 2nd week which will be on mondays so 072103 will be my first weigh in is that ok??? P.C., I know how you feel, we just got done with a PCS move and when we did get our computer, they had broken the modem. Good luck in the next few weeks, I am sure you will do fine. It is actually not that hard to stay Op moving and all, just make sound decisions and if possible, bring some low point snacks with you to munch on. Fruit is the best, I found. Let us know when you get back, how you did. Good luck to everyone else on this challenge!!!

After deciding not to weigh in this week (TOM), curiousity got the better of me this morning and I hopped on the scale. I am thrilled to report that I lost one pound (for a challenge total of five...halfway)!!

Well I was expecting to stay the same... or gain because this week was TOM. And I **lost** 1.6! Being OP and exercising WORKS.. it really and truly WORKS! My first 10% is actually in sight, now. (will be 204.3 to hit that)

I am +1 lb this week. I don't understand it, as I've been 100% OP and exercised 6 out of 7 days this week. Maybe its just water retention from humidity? Well, its not going to make me go OffP! <grits teeth in determination> I am going to work hard so next week that lb will be gone again, and THEN some!

I weighed in at 178 this morning. Down a total of 6.5 for the challenge (only 3.5 more to go).
Aprilk- If you find yourself struggling to stay OP right before your TOM than work on planning for a couple of the things you crave into your plan (such as chocoltate). Otherwise just ignore the scale that particular week. I almost always gain too, but than I usually have a good loss the following week. Once you keep track and see the same pattern month after month it's easier to take it in stride even if it's a little discouraging.

I think that I'm gaining weight instead of losing weight and I don't think my bathroom scale is accurate. I tried doing my taebo tape and did not finish it I want to try doing it again.

ARGH! +.4 I have been 100% OP.. maybe not exercising as much as usual...and had Chinese food on Friday... I'm hoping that I've really lost but the sodium in the Chinese food is masking it.
This is really discouraging. :( But I'd be doing worse if I gave up. I ***WILL*** get to Onederland before the year is up..this is getting ridiculous!

I'm sticking with my goal of ten pounds. I bought a few things for school yesterday at work. I thought it would help to look nice while losing the weight. I will weigh tomorrow I'm going to hang in there and lose that ten pounds and tone up. I did check into joining the meetings and haven't decided whether I will or not.

My weight has stayed the same. I decided to do taebo twice a week and use my aerobic step and light weights twice a week. I need to see if this helps me shed those ten pounds. I'm sticking to my goal. Another idea that I have is maybe not drinking pop.

I seem to be plateauing. Frustrating, but inevitable I guess.

Made my Labor Day goal a week early...I'm down 3 lbs. this week! But I've got to be careful this week...I'm going away Labor Day weekend and I don't want to head in the wrong direction. I guess it's a good thing Flex Points started for me today. It'll give me a good chance to see how they work.

I lost 1.5 pounds this week, for a total challenge loss of 9 pounds. This is just shy of my 10 pound goal, but considering I had a plateau for most of August, I am THRILLED!

+.5 I did not make my challenge goal of 199, but considering I had started at 214.6, I didn't do too shabby, either.... -9.6 overall.

I'm afraid you'll have to wait for the next challenge. The Labor Day challenge is basically over since it was for the American Labor Day holiday which is today, September 1. Stick around though and check the various BCB forums since there's bound to be another challenge starting soon.

Well, I did well over my goal for the Labor Day Challenge. Lost another 1.8 pds as a finale. Congrats to all those who made goal since we lost our leader, I think

Just got home and I lost 1 lb. this week...so I actually met one of my challenges! Congratulations, everyone. It looks like we all did really well with this challenge!

Week 2 → July 26 → -1 lb.
Week 3 → Aug 2 → -.5 lb.
Week 4 → Aug 9 → -3 lbs.
Week 5 → Aug 16 → -2 lbs.
Week 6 → Aug 23 → -3 lbs.
Week 7 → Aug 30 → -1 lb.
LABOR DAY → lost 16.5 pounds and surpassed my goal a little
