Good morning buddies!

Another day without the comfort of Jaci's morning post! I am going into withdrawal! Must be another busy morning, huh?

Anyhow, I hope you all had a great weekend - I know I did. Summary: visit parents, wedding, dinner out, movie (Terminator 3), clean house, movie (Die Another Day), lots of quality time with DH. Can't complain about the weather either, it was warm (25-30 degrees) and sunny every day. Got to go jogging on Friday and Saturday as well which was great.

Today's plan is to water the garden before everything dies... Also to go for a jog, and run a couple of errands.

I'm thinking of re-evaluating my personal goal. I thought I wanted to get to 135lbs, which is 2.5lbs away. However right now I LOVE the way I look, and all my clothes that used to be too small fit great now. I would be perfectly happy if I could stay just as I am, except to get more toned/fit but that I would do with jogging, pilates, and other exercise. The thing that really made me think was that I weighed myself on Saturday morning (my usual WI day) at my parents' house - and I came in at 133.5lbs (1.5lbs UNDER GOAL) there. Friday I weighed myself (early) at my house as usual at 137.5lbs. So I'm not even sure what is right. DH was 4lbs lighter at my parents' house too. And we weighed a 4kg bag of sugar to test the scale, and it weighed that correctly. I guess I'll be buying a heavy bag of something today to test our scale too. Do you guys think it would be OK to re-evaluate my goal? It sort of takes all the excitement out of reaching GOAL since if I change it, I'm already there... but I feel and look good, so I guess that's the bottom line. Any thoughts on this?

OK well, time to get back to work! Hope to hear from you all! (Except CeCe who is on vacation!! Hope you are having fun Fun FUN!!!!

Cheers graemlins/wave.gif

Good morning every Buddy graemlins/wave.gif
It's now about 7:50pm Monday evening, and yes.. it was another VERY busy day at work today so I missed out again on my post graemlins/ugh.gif

Mel: I think re-evaluating your goal is fine. Primarily YOU need to be happy in yourself and how you feel. Sounds like you had a jam packed weekend. :D

I had a lovely weekend. Dinner Friday night was absalutely esquisite. Saturday we watched a couple of DVD's. Yesterday afternoon DH and I decided to take a lovely drive into the country. My great great great grandparents on my mother's side are buried in this small town about 45mins from here, where they settled and farmed the land in the late 1800's after they migrated from Germany. It was a lovely drive, but I doubt we'll be taking General (the dog) again on a long trip. He puked all over my jacket
I am really tired and I came home with a splitting headache, so I think it will be an early night for me. Which is means about 10pm instead of 11:30pm hehehe.
WI tomorrow morning. I don't care if I am only down .1lb this week... I broke my plateau so nothing can bring me down from that hight quite yet :D

Have a great Monday y'all.. I will see you all tomorrow graemlins/kiss.gif

Good Morning!
It is so hard to come back to work! We did have a busy holiday weekend, but I was OP all the way - I know that is what I am committed to do, but I am still proud of myself for making it thru! DH and I took off Thursday, so that was four days, at home, and I stayed OP! My biggest food challenges come when I am home and the fridge is right there, calling my name! We have our DD, my mom and DH grandmom in the house, so there are always snacks around that are not the most point-friendly. Mostly, they come from DH grandmom, who, at 87, can eat pretty much whatever she wants and it has no effect on her weight at all! And what she wants is ice cream, cookies, anything with lots of SUGAR! But I managed to ignore all the siren calls and stayed within my plans! I did make the cobbler with 7up and cake mix - it is very good! I ate more than my 3 pts, but I had it in the 'budget!'

Mel, IMHO, you are in charge of you! Your goal should reflect where you are happy and healthy! Doncha' just hate it when scales can't get it together!?

Jaci - sounds like you had a great weekend! My doggie gets carsick too - whenever we have to put her in the car, we take plenty of paper towels. She is nice enough to drool as a warning and sometimes, we can even pull over in time! Hope your jacket wasn't ruined!

Happy OP Monday to ALL!!!

Hi Buddies, Something strange is happening with my computer. My whole page just disappeared. The top lines where there, where the mail and everything else is, but the rest was gone, just a grey page. It's happened to me before and it's very frustrating. OH well, I signed back on but I lost my post. I have to run now, but just wanted to say hi.

Mel - Have you got your BMI yet, I set my goal to that. You can check it out at BMI (http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.htm)

Jaci - Sorry to hear your dog got sick. My dog loves to ride in the car. The girls were washing my van on Saturday and the doors were open while they were cleaning the windowns, Snickers just jumped right in, she thought we were going somewhere. It was too cute.

Kim - Good job on the weekend. Those wise choices all add up. Keep up the good work.

Patty - Where are you girlfriend? You told me to get back here and post, so here I am. Come out, Come out where ever you are. LOL

Mellow - You have to be back from vacation by now. Missing you too.

Take care all, Linda

Hey everyone! Glad to hear everyone is doing so well.

My good news is that I finally lost enough to move down a points range!!! I think that is good. Thank goodness it is just a few points. I think I naturally worked this out as I was banking about 5 points per day anyway (not used) so now I can tweak my meals a little and hopefully still be able to bank a few after I get used to the new range. tongue.gif
