Hi! I am a Stay at home mom, and never have time to go to the meetings at WW. (It's 40 minutes away and I have a 4 year old and baby who is still nursing) My husband and i have all the WW material when i had attempted to go to the meetings last year. But i need a lot of support because I get so tempted so easily, What do you have to offer in this buddy group?

Hi Amy,

This group of losers (hehe) has everything to offer. No matter what you are feeling or are tempted by, there is someone here who has felt that way and been tempted, and has stayed OP (on program) and is still doing so. This is a great place for support, ideas, encouragement, and friendship, AND reading/posting here is also a GREAT way to distract yourself from eating smile.gif

My husband and I have no formal WW materials, other than the things we borrowed from his sister who has been on WW for a while and has lost a lot of weight (sorry, I don't remember the exact number but she went from a size 14/15 to a size 11), we are using the WWCalc program for our palm pilots, and I use BCB to fill in the gaps and to keep me motivated! DH has lost over 30lbs so far and I have lost 20 (and am dangerously close to my goal :D ) so it is totally worth it and it WORKS!

So welcome, and I hope you come back often! There is so much useful information here, you will love it.

Take care!

Hi Amy, welcome HOME. Like Mel said this is a great place for support, encouragement, information, whatever you need. I could not have made it as far as I did without BCB and my buddies here. I tried WW and other "diets" before, but this time with the info I found here I realized WW is not a diet but a way of life. It's one you have to committ to, noone else can do it for you. Make small goals. Instead of looking at the whole picture I would look to the following week. I would say I want to lose 2 lbs next week and aim for that. Those 1, 2 or more lbs all add up in the end. I would also set exercise goals for myself and there are many different challenges here you can get involved in. Look up recipes and restaurant pts that way you can stay OP even when going out or if you have to take something to a picnic or party. Remember you are worth it, so make this plan work for you.

Good luck, Linda
