View Full Version : Few, but frustrating
I have 9 pounds to go, but am suddenly feeling lazy. I thinks it's because I don't have that much more to go, and wish it would fall off faster (silly I know). I can't help but wish though.
Started off needing to lose 17 pounds beginning the second week of Jan, nine to go.
Any suggestions on how to keep going? Is it always this frustrating at the end?

I started with 20 and I'm half way there. I understand your frustrations completely. Maybe you can step it up a little. Do something you haven;'t been doing...extra exercise; more veggies; eat some differnet foods.
You dont want to get in a rut now when you are so close to goal.
:D
Thanks for the advice Jen. I should try different foods, mix it up a bit. I've been working so much I haven't been able to use my WW cookbook.
I love cooking when I'm not exhausted! :D

Let me know if you make anything good. I could use a few good recipes. I havent had the $$ to buy any ww cookbooks. i am at the mercy of the bcb recipes -- which are all great as well.

What kind od food are you into?
I have a great BBQ meatloaf recipe, and a great meatless pizza recipe that I like.
I'm trying more this week so we'll see. I also purchase a low fat Greek cook book. I have figured a bunch of the recipes points already and they will work great! Now I just have to see how they taste. smile.gif

Michelle,
Mix it up a bit. Find a buddy. Go back to meetings (if you attend them). Find a new activity you enjoy. It's getting warmer out, so there's walking, bike riding, gardening... lots of fun stuff to get you moving.
Try new foods. If you have an Applebee's around you, they just put out a new line of foods that have the points already figured out.
