12.5 sounds like a few to lose to me!!!! I know it can be hard....I have about 11 pounds to lose to reach my 10% goal. I have a big event coming up in April (9 weeks)...so hopefully by then I will be at goal. It seems like such a long ways away..esp since I lose so slow. This past week has been the biggest loss I have seen yet. After I reach my 10% goal...i'm gonna aim for a 5% goal..which would put me at 150 lbs. I will see what I look like and how I feel once I get there Not sure if I want to go much lower seeing as I am 5' 8'' and very muscular. I've weighed less than 150 before, and it just didn't look right on me. So we will see. Maybe we can encourage each other along....I need all the encouragement and support I can get!! Good luck to you!

Woo Hoo 11 pounds you'll get there before you know it. The only reason I'm so worried about weighing in this coming monday (2/16) is because I've never used FP and this week I went to Olive Garden and used about 10 so I'm curious what changes the scale will make. I guess I set myself up for a little test. Good luck to us graemlins/wave.gif

I don't see how some of you dont eat flex points! I would starve!!!! :D But more power to you for not eating them. My mom lost 20 lbs on WW and rarely ever used her flex points. I'm a big exerciser, so they come in handy. They have really come in handy this past week seeing as TOM is here. My cycle is never normal, so I never know when to expect it. I don't even bother keeping up with it anymore. Ok, now I'm rambling....you can tell i'm at work and bored. I'm curious to see what the scale will do this week at WI myself. Seeing as it's TOM and i've eaten horribly!!!!!!!!!! (but stayed within my points for the day). Just haven't made the wisest choices. I have about 5 flex left till saturday, and luckily DB is coming to my house tonight, so i can definately control the points of what I"m eating. so that will leave me with 5 flex for friday night. Not that I'm doing anything major. But I like to have a couple just in case. Anyways, i'm done rambling now.
Good luck to you too Jen!

thanks andrea.
the reaosn you use all the FPs is that DB of yours, taking you out and spoiling you ;)
just kidding. i use at least half of my FPs but WI day. I try not to use them all, that way, they are a margin of error for any underestimated pts that i missed for the week. nobodys perfect and i dont what to unconsciously go overpts.

You know Jen, that's not a bad idea. Maybe I"ll start leaving like 10 of them each week just to be on the safe side. I did that last week and had a good loss. But that doesn't mean it will happen this week. I just have one of those feelings that it's not going to be a good week. Oh well. Well, I'm off to do some homework...have a great day.

hey andrea,
just do your best. just stay conscious of the fact that people tend to gain weight at the beginning of a happy relationship. if you can even stay the stay over the next moth, you are doing better than most people starting in a relationship. shoot, i was slim and trim before i met DH, then he spoiled me. it wasnt a bad thing, i just didnt notice until the clothes got reall tight.
if you just stay conscious of what you choose to eat, you will do ok. Plus, you got us to help you through all of it. ;)

Lana--how did you only use 10 pts at the Olive Garden?
Usually when DH and I go out to eat, I use at least 15 pts. That's why I love FP. I don't feel like I have "messed up" when I don't bank my extra points.
I have about 16 to lose till I am at goal. I started with about 24 or so. I consider that "a few".

Annied77- Well I hadn't used all my target points for the day so all I needed extra was about ten, I had about 9 or so points from target left. Well I found this great recipe on here for a shake-3 points its great it fixes my chocolate craving or whatever flavor I'm wanting. Well I weigh in on monday I'm nervous..I've been thinking about how I ate at olive garden since I took that last bite lol. We'll see good luck to everyone on almost hitting home with goal. graemlins/wave.gif

thanks awesome lana. congrats on that 10 lbs. you should feel very proud. and you deserve the free day. :D
I would like to make 5 lb loss by the end of Feb. I would need to lose 3.1 more
I am going to be more aggressive with my plan and start exercising and stop avoiding exercise like the plague. Why lose weight if not to get into better shape, right?

Thanks Jen. I posted in General Questions and now i feel horrible about having a free day and i was thinking that I didn't want to weigh in next monday, but then again it's over and done with I'm still OP and I need to face the scale come February 23rd, wish me luck on that because It'll most likely be TOM too, but March 1st weigh in should be good smile.gif
Jen- I'm POSITIVE you will lose your 3.1 by the end of February , you've got about 12 days? something like that, you can do it! I've been thinking about setting another goal date, but I'm not sure I'll have to see what happens next week. Have a great day I'm off to work

Lana - Thanks for the support. TOM came last night, but maybe it will be gone by WI on Sunday. We can hope. ;)
I also started exercising last night to kick start the loss.
Basic Taebo -- I will do a video tonight as well.
