I have seventeen pounds that won't go away!

I am determined to make it go away (permanently) by August. I have a bridal shower I'm attending in Vegas with my girl friends. Most of them are in fabulous shape. I want to be able to wear a bikini feeling good about myself.

Anyone else have this problem?

How much have you lost Michelle?

I know that many women hit a plateau for a while-it can be a LONG plateau, and you get discouraged. Have you been exercising? Try to do some cardio to help burn some extra calories. Also, make sure you're getting all your water.

I am sure that by August you will get rid of the pounds.

I am trying to get bikini ready too, and have been going to the gym 3x/week. I haven't lost much weight (2# since being dilligent about the gym), but my clothes are fitting differently, and I can see where I am getting more toned. If you're toned and fit, but still have 10 of those 17 lbs, then that's okay, right?

Good luck!

Anne

Hey Annie!

I have been deligent, I have lost two pounds!

I went to the gym on Saturday and did 45 min on the eliptical machine. I walked everyday last week but Sunday.

I don't think I would be more toned with only losing ten of the seventeen pounds. I remeber that weight, although I may just be stuck on numbers. tongue.gif

I have 5 more pounds i would like to lose..... i have found that the last few are the hardest. i have given up chocolate for january...to change my food choices and give different foods to my body.
i make it a point to change up my exercise and to change up the amount of time i exercise...so i kkeep my body guessing what is going on and then theoretically, working to its fullest capacity.

so far is working. have lost 2.5 so far injan.
good luck.
if you try anything different and it works for you, please post so we can try it too.
good luck to all. dj
