Do you ever get this sick longing for the 'good ol days' when you had more to lose, so it was easier to stick with it? When I had over 80 pounds to lose, I was so single minded and determined, NOTHING tempted me. NOTHING. Now I find myself craving things that never used to faze me.... cookies, chips and dip, cake......... graemlins/ugh.gif I can still resist, but it is so much HARDER now! I know I can have these things in moderation, but once I get on that bandwagon, I'm on it for the whole day. So I just stay off. Gaining back those 72 pounds is NOT an option!
All the weight I have left to lose is in my waist, stomach and inner thighs. Maybe another 5-10 pounds will do it. I'll just have to wait and see I suppose. :( I've added a walk/run combo to my workout routine, so I hope that will shake things up for me.
Anyone else feel this way?

shugar, I'm back in the gotta-lose-it-again mode but 2 years ago, I lost 50lbs., not doing WW at the time, but I heard Oprah say that losing the weight is the EASY part, it's keeping it off that's hard. I didn't believe her then but it sure proved to be true in my life. I've got 30 of those 50 to lose. What happened to me was I started telling myself how great I did and that I DESERVE to eat whatever. One slip turned into one thousand. One week of no exercising turned into 50. That's why I'm somewhat afraid to lose it again :( This time I've got you guys and WW but what I'm really working on is what's in my head. Are you bored? Are you stressed? All the things you say to yourself, about yourself help determine how you treat yourself. You don't want to sacrifice what you've worked so hard to achieve. The cookie, chips, cake, whatever are NOT WORTH IT  Try to devert yourself by doing things you enjoy. Read your journal to get inspiration from your own journey. Try on your favorite clothes and remind yourself why you can wear them. I hope this helps! Patty

I think the hardest part about maintenance is the mind frame that you're still working this routine but not losing. There is that temptation to say but "I'm done" graemlins/bcbsalute.gif
