I have loved Richard Simmons every since I read his first book...if you haven't read it you would enjoy I think....It has been a long time ago, and I don't even remember the name of it, but it is very good....the first story in the book is about him, but you don't know it until you get to the end of the story..did you know that he weighed around 300 pounds at one time?
Anyway, nuff bout that...here is a great tip of the day from Richard....

"It's 10% exercise and 10% eating healthy. The other 80% motivation. Every night before you go to bed, your motivation goes away and it's up to you in the morning to start it all over again. How do you stay motivated? By simply knowing your worth. And believe me, you are worth it!"

Hey Norma!! I love Richard, too! That motivation statement is soooo true. As you know, I'm having a hard time myself right now, and I recognize the fact that my motivation has take taken a turn right down the toilet, so this post is very appropriate at this time. Thanks.

Heh Jeanette, I am also having a hard time staying motivated. Just need to get over this hurdle and losing another 3 pounds would certainly give me the incentive!! Anyone have any magical suggestions???? No, didn't think so. How about several graemlins/bcbkick.gif graemlins/bcbkick.gif graemlins/bcbkick.gif in the butt?????? Thanks - I needed that! :D

I did a lot of crying yesterday after I came upon a picture from a wedding I attended a year ago. I'm only a couple pounds lighter now, and in two short months I'm going to have to pose for pictures for my son's wedding. I've always hated having my picture taken, and I'm stressing big time about it. Unfortunately, I still am struggling in the motivation department. I'm thinking that I must subsconsciously sabatoge myself.

Thank you for reminding me I'm worth it. I'll try to remember. Or, as last week's meeting topic addressed, I WILL value my worth, not try.
