Good Morning Buddies All,

Was expecting a storm???? nothin yet...

The exemployee get together was a hoot! We laughed and cried and ate, yep... that too. I am now on the committee for the company picnic the end of Aug and we will be getting together next Sat. I counted my points as I put it in my mouth and had a large shrimp salad and an low cal ice cream sandwich for dinner.... Oh a steak and french fries were calling, oh oh oh...
Then met DH at the Korean Memorial and was so delighted they used alot of DH things, and hugh pictures of him in Korea??? I took his picture by all of his contributions. He was so good looking and still is handsome, I see what attracted me as a young girl!!!!
We were going to a movie to see 'Sea Biscuit" but time got away from us... We are hoping to do so today after Church and lunch... we will see.
I am so happy with myself I lost weight, and have kinda a style of eating in my head... Just got to keep it active in the forefront of my thinking. And not be detoured!!! Big assignment..
I have been so unhappy with my appearance, with all the extra weight and the health issues should be the foremost important????? DAAAAA but .....
Every little bit off is a step in the right direction I keep telling myself.....

Hope this day on OP is easier than yesterday and your world goes smoothly.

G'mornin, everyone..

Well, I'm back..hopefully for awhile. Got a live-in companion for my Mom and she seems to be very competent and pleasant. It's so hard to drive away, not knowing if I'll see my Mom again, but at least I'm happy that someone is with her at all times. nuff bout that!

Chari..sounds like you're hanging in there! I've not even had time to read much, or post in the last lil while, but hoping that will change! I'm anxious to be back in my own kitchen, planning my own meals and concentrating on program! Really need to find time to go back and do some reading...I've missed everyone and feel so outta touch...been praying for Karen, esp..and Jean'ski.. but thinking about all of you!

.........enjoy TODAY !!!!!! ...............

http://mouse.webby.com/imagescal/mmjl26.jpg Good Morning, budettes! Not many surfacing yet, must be the day to sleep in or else you are off on adventures! I have had my walk (3 miles) and getting set for a day of sewing bookcovers for the local bookstore to sell. I stayed completely OP yesterday..WHOOHOO!........feels good to be in control of what goes in my mouth 'stead of the other way 'round! I even did a second walk of 3 miles last night making a total of 6 for yesterday. Trying to get back to my goal and hopefully on to my PG after that.......OMOHOD at a time is the watchword.
Chari, good for you staying OP, too....really is the ONLY way to get these pounds off but temptation is always around. Sounds like you have more than most in your life. Hang in there and keep trying, buddy!
Beth, wonderful to "see" you back from your Mama's.....it is hard to leave but it sounds like she is in capable hands. Life goes on! Time to get back on track, girlfriend! I have missed chatting with you; hope you make it to MSN tonight. Have fun catching up although it has been quiet on the boards lately.....summer's like that but in September we will all be focussed again.
Hi to everybuddy else! Have a Super Sunday OP!

Good Mornin…. Seems I only get around to posting on the weekends. During the week with work and all I have trouble finding time to post.

I’ve been doing the same ol’ same ol’. But staying OP of course. Worked around the house yesterday and went and got some plants to do some planting today. DH will do most of that though, I’ll be the director and plant a few. We had my windows washed yesterday and they really look grand. I have 5 sliding glass doors, one being 8 footer, and 8 windows that are huge. I hate doing windows.

DH started working for new contractor on Monday so is back to bring home a paycheck again. He was only home for one week and moving in on my territory and came to the beach twice. Boys aren’t allowed!!! J/K, the girls got a kick out of him coming and started referring to him as one of the beach “girls”. The job site is very close to home and to the beach and he said he’d maybe stop by the beach on occasion after work since he gets off at 3pm. I’ve created a monster. YIKES.

I hope to get to the movies today but hate to go when the weather is so beautiful. Don’t want to be cooped up in a theater when the sun is out and is gorgeous outside. Maybe we’ll go to an evening showing but the price of the tickets is much more, $8.00 I think. We usually try and go for the special matinee price of $5.00.

Chari, sounds like you had a great time yesterday and yet planning another event….you are one busy lady. Keep up the good work on staying OP. You’ll get there, you’ve done it before and you’ll do it again.

Beth, I’m so happy to learn that you’ve gotten your mom a live-in companion. This should take some of the worry off your shoulders as well as the shoulders of your siblings. I know its hard to leave her when she’s not doing so well, hang in there my friend.

Diana, WOW 6 MILES. You go girlfriend!!! Those walks really do help you a lot to stay focused, I can tell. I watched a show the other day on the Home & Garden TV and thought of you. It was about quilts. I think the title was something about “Secrets behind the Fabrics” It was great. Wish I had thought to tape if for you and send but it was half over when the thought came to mind…duh…A bit slow in my old age. Keep up the good work on being OP. You’ll get to goal and PG in no time. You’ve been very successful in the past and I’m sure you’ll continue to do so.

Norma, Birthday party and homemade ice cream today. I’m sure the goils won’t mind me speaking for us but tell Danny Happy birthday from us here on BCB. And ya know, most people can never really tell when foods are FF or not. But mention it, and they will say they could tell. Go figure.

Well, to each of you who post after me, have a wonderful OP day and hope to catch some of you on the Chat tonite. But if not…think of me anyway.

Good Afternoon Buddette's, ;)

Didn't get a chance to post yesterday, I was on the "go" practically all day. First we went to Chinese market, I love the veggies, then to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things, then to Flea Market for our f/v for the week. Ran into some old friends and had a beer and talked a lot. Then home to put everything away. Busy, busy, busy...Today had coffee out on deck, then breakfast, cleaned up around the house and next start dinner. I purchased a small turkey breast for dinner and that way Bill will have left overs for sandwiches during the week. We do love to eat, don't we? :D

chari congrats on the great weight loss. Your "doing it." I know you must have been proud of your hubby yesterday, and that is so  . Keep it going on girlfriend.

Beth glad you found a companion for your Mamma that your comfortable with, that is so important. Will try to make chat tonight. Somehow it just slips by on me...

Diana, woozer 6 miles in one day. You go girl. Sounds like your attacking this journey with a vegeance. Knowing how I am that's the only way it works for me as well. Have a great OP day.

Norma, your right people don't know if your feeding them fat free foods or not. You tell them and it ruins it for them. I prepare FF all the time and the gang just gobbles up the food. Yes, you do need a little "me" time as well as the next person. Your looking good girlfriend, keep it up. graemlins/thumbup.gif

Julie so nice to see you posting. I do understand, when your working full time, running a house and everything that entails you simply do not have time. After dinner your all tuckered out. Yes, you created a monster, personally I like a man that feels comfortable hanging around women. Shows they are not intimidated by their masculinity. Does that make sense  Your doing fine on your journey as well. Have you found its real hard to lose right now. I can't seem to get below 180, drats. Washing windows is not one of my favorite chores and mine are not even that hugh.

For the rest of my Buddies that sign on after me, enjoy Sunday it is a day of rest...

Later Losers,

It is late but I am determined to get on here and post. We went to see Aunt Lou early this morning, then went to church... THEN... we took the little girls for their first float on the river. It was great. They loved it. The river is a bit low now so the trip took longer than usual and we had some low places and rocks to dodge. Cadyn actually went to sleep on her Daddy's lap... Maddie was too busy trying to see everything to shut her eyes. The trip took about 4 1/2 hours and they kids were wonderful. I am exhaused. Try sitting on an inner tube, holding a 3 year old, and lifting your butt (and a baby!) up to keep from hitting rocks. I came in and took ibuprofen! Cadyn and I went back to check on Aunt Lou who was having a fit because we had been gone all day. (Bless her heart)

Tomorrow I bet I have trouble standing up! I think that must be some workout I did today.

Talk to you tomorrow. Good night....

Peace and Blessings. LJ
