Good Morning Buddies,
Great day in Iowa, sunny and really cool.
Going to get my stiff and sore old bones ready to go to lunch with my friends today... Going to Applebee's not my favorite place to eat, but... I enjoy the company. Looked up what to eat and I think I will order a med. blacken chicken salad at 5 points and have dressing on the side. I looked the Sant Fa salad and it has 17 pts!!!Yikes!!! Don't know if I will like blacked chicken salad, but I will try it once.
My best friend Pat, wants to do something after, but neither of us know what... I hate to shop too much cause I do not want to be this size much longer. I am getting along great staying on my required WW pts and doing some sort of exercise daily. If the mind is set the body will follow, I am told. Guess it is good advice as it is working now.... I want to establish a habit and then follow it... I have been so lacking in motivation, so my weight program as been poor to say the least. But have some high school classmates say they are coming....., well, the dust is off the books and I am off and running so to speak.
Kathy: I did not get any ideas on any story, from 4-H Fair. I am still trying to get to a zoo and finish the idea that is in my head now... I can write a story in minutes when I see an animal that strikes a particular cord. And the Fair was enjoyable but no cord struck.
Hope your day goes well.

Hi, Chari! I posted on Dee's daily, but wanted to come say hi to you. Have fun at lunch with Pat. I think you will like the blackened chicken salad. They have a FF honey mustard dressing there I think. It isn't too bad. I think you are doing really well in your determination. You are such a wonderfully fun and elegant lady. Keep up the exercise. I am now convinced it can make the difference.
Sounds like it is time to visit the zoo! I have always wanted to write a story. But I am just too lazy to do the work involved. You and Dee have some talent that you can tap into. Be sure and post your story when it develops so we can enjoy it.
Love,
CathyJ

Chari, you're doing great with the motivation this week. Keep it up! You can do it!

I posted on the other Daily as well and forgot to post some things, so I'm taking advantage of two daily's.
chari whatever you are doing continue. You sound like you formed a plan, and are following it and that is always encouraging.
Jeanette glad to hear that Karen is improving. What a relief that must be. Keep us posted and don't forget to give her my best. God be with you and Karena and your whole family.
As I stated on the other Daily. I am in the process of cleaning out phat clothes. I am in constant need of motivation. We are going out to dinner tomorrow night and I would like to at least have a couple of glasses of wine. So I am going to be as good as possible today and tomorrow. I have been OP all week except Tues, fell off and got bruised a little. But I brushed myself off and got right back OP again. Such is life. But what's a girl to do

Hi Gang,
Been to lunch and did very well on the 1/2 size blacken chicken salad with the specified dressing on the side. I used 1/2 of the dressing. The 1/2 salad was 5 pts and the dressing I am guessing is 2 pts. Had regular 7-up to drink, 2 more pts., as I am weaning myself off of cola and coffee staining my teeth. Got home still hungry, so I ate an apple... Tonight I am going to have chicken breast in my Pampered Chef cooker and corn on the cob with a low calorie ice cream on a stick. Pretty much what I have been doing all week, but no exercise yet today, don't know if I will, except probably walk the dog a short distance. A little too wordy, gives you an idea of my days...
Saturday is another luncheon at a friend's home, we all used to work together. This one is bring snacks and drinks... OH BOY!!! Luckily I will only be there only one hour as we are having a "Remembering The Forgotten War Korea 1950-53" at our local Museum. DH contributed some of his pictures and memorbia(sp)... I want to be with him when the program is presented.
Too much talk.....
