Hi buddies,
I recommitted to BCB and ww at the end of June, but I had been doing it at home and not officially. According to the home scale, I am down 5-6 pounds since I began. Today, I went to weigh in officially and the difference between the two numbers was disheartening. The ww scales were 7lbs more than the ones at home. Of course, at home I weigh first thing in the morning with little to no clothes... BUT....
So, I guess I will readjust my numbers... or do I just add them. It felt a little like having the air taken out of my sails. I remember the old saying.. the truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable. Today feels more like the miserable place... I hope that this only gets me to redouble my commitment. Time to think through the numbers one more time. I had hoped to be at my goal weight by Sept 7, the date of the triatholon I am entering, but that no longer feels realistic.
Suggestions?
