I lost 2 pounds this week, yeah for me!!! I am doing a major happy dance. In case you missed it I decided that in order for my weight loss to get moving again I would have to eat lower points. I was eating at the top of my range which was 26-31, so I was eating 31 per day on average. Last week I decided to shoot for 25 per day which would put me in the range of what I might eat if I were closer to goal. I averaged 26 points per day this week and lost two pounds. I was really surprised at how easy it was and that I did not feel starved or deprived at all. I had been thinking of doing this for some time and did not want to give up the extra food, but had come to the point where I was willing to do whatever it takes, so I went for it. I am really pleased with the results and I am going to continue with the same plan for this week.

Today was a real milestone for me, the halfway point to the top of my healthy weight range as set by WW'ers. I have now lost a total of 62 pounds and it took me 23 months to do this. I promised myself another charm for my reward at this point, so I went right down and picked one out and ordered it. I chose a round pendant with the letter "D" in script and a fancy filigree pattern around the edge.

In another month I will be celebrating my two year anniversary on WW and I am so glad I have kept on working the program and didn't give up. I do hope and wish that the next half won't take so long, but I know from experience that it will take as long as it takes. I am not going anywhere and I have nothing to lose except excess weight. graemlins/bcbsalute.gif

Dee: YES!!! I had an idea that would work for you. As I had mentioned, that's what Karen had decided to do also, and it worked for her too. For some reason, (and who knows why), but we all have the unfortunate luck to be on the heavy side to begin with and we shouldn't have to reduce our points this soon anyway, but it does seem to work. And if that works for you, then so be it! You do what you have to do. I'm so happy for you, Dee, that you finally found something to help you out. I know only too well how very frustrating staying OP and not losing can be. IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!!! :D

Dee, I hit the same wall when I reached 225. I decided that I would go to the next level (24-29) a few pounds ahead of time. That kicked me over into the losing mode again. Glad you figured it out. graemlins/wave.gif
