Ouch! sounds like you took a really hard fall.Pamper yourself for a few days & wait till the worst is over to worry about exercise.I can't do much at all...makes for slow losses, but I'm sure a short layoff won't be a problem. Hope you feel better soon.

Greeting this morning, Hilde.
Sorry about your fall, it sounds like you really had a hard one... Take it easy as long as the dr. says. Then you can go back without worry of further injury to your knees. Take care.
I stubbed my middle toe on left foot on Sat.on a dehumidifier in the rec room and it was getting better when I rolled the TV stand over the same toe yesterday. I get so wrapped up on what I am doing I did it to myself again.
I finished so guess I am OK.

Hilde, Owww! My goodness, you certainly took a bad fall. Here's to a speedy recovery. Your exercise will have to wait while those knees heal. Hope you are well very soon.
Chari, I hope you don't mind that I laughed when I read that you ran over an already abused toe! :D I have done very similar things and have often wondered how a person could forget where her toes end? Is your house clean yet, so we can stop worrying that you will seriously injure yourself? I hope so.
Love,
Carla

Sorry to hear of your fall Hilde :( . Sort of spoils a shopping trip doesn't it? Hope you recover real soon and get back to you exercise. Don't try it too soon though. Make sure your health is up to it first. We "break" much too easily at this stage in our lives........must be extra careful :D graemlins/crazy.gif Good luck graemlins/wave.gif

OUCH!!!!
Oh my God, I fell like that once (on my face) luckily for me my face wasn't left scarred. But my knees sure hurt me for a long time. Please take care knees are so important. Exercise is exercise and it will wait. You can always sit down and exercise your upper body if your determined to exercise. Whatever you decide please, please, please approach it with caution.

Hilde, sorry to hear about your fall. Take care and get better. I think what is hard, is in additon to the bruised knees, hands, face etc. is the bruised ego! I remember when I took a bad fall the first thing I did was to look around to make sure no one noticed. :D

Hilde, so sorry to hear about your fall. I guess we all have our stories about our falls. So, I hope you take good care of yourself, including some extra hugs. Yes, try a little bit of exercise - it's the cure for everything ( so I think!!).
Hugs, dear buddy.

Boy this has been a bad day for me.
I went to a Craft store this afternoon at 4 pm.
and parked my car, got out and started walking in the parking lot all of a suddent there was a parking stone out in the middle of the parking lot and guess what I fell right on my face.
And ended up in the Hospital Emergency room.
they took X-rays and said both my knees are very bruised inside and could get a hematoma, due to the reason of I am on blood thinners for blood clots. And opened up the palm of my right hand so there goes my exercise for a while.
So now I will have to realy lay low on my points.
Well hope I didnt whine too much .

http://www.mouse.webby.com/images2/gtw6.jpg so sorry. Take care of yourself. I have noticed that I seen to fall more as I get older also. We must learn to slow down and walk with care and pay more attention to where we walk.
Hugs,
