Good Morning Everyone,

Sunday morning and it is gray in Iowa yet, but maybe rain??? Quiet time of reading and doing some computer stuff. Today I will add Karen's name to the Church Prayer Chain, meaning when a individual's name is put on our prayer cards then many people pray for her. I enjoyed Karen's sweetness when I met her, and to have a loving sister like Jeannette is a God's Gift. WOW!

I have been preparing our family room for a sleep over. I just have the feeling that my son, but probably not his wife, that would be wonderful but.... she will probably go to her family. Well, any way... I just have this feeling????. We have a two bedroom home, and the second bedroom is a now a den, computer room with sitting for two.. So the family room has the convienence of sleeping two. So I have been cleaning. I am so stiff and sore, used to do this and no problem... oh oh!!! If my insight is wrong, I will have a clean house. Does anyone ever have these feelings? And do they ever come to pass?

We went to a Lampost sponsored play,"The Wedding" last night. It was advertised in our Church Bulletin and it was funny, all that can goe wrong behind the senses of preparing for a wedding.... And there were people in this wedding that most of us identify with personality wise. It was done well and lots of fun and with a wonderful message that with our differences God loves each one of us, no matter what!!!!!!!!!. And... there was a reception after... nicely done.

Nothing going on of any interest YET... but the week is young, take care...

Good morning, buddies. It is a glorious, Sunday morning here in Indiana. The sun is shining brightly and there are just a few clouds in the sky. Yesterday afternoon, Tom and I went downtown to the mall and spent a bloody fortune on clothes. It was so much fun. I had bought a few things and went down to the men's dept. where Tom was busy picking out ties to match his new shirts. He said that he would be awhile longer, why didn't I go look some more. Wow, that was fun. The sales lady I was working with was glad to see me back upstairs! I even bought two pair of shoes. Nordstrom has this sale every year, they have all their summer stuff marked way down and then they put their new winter things on sale for just this time frame then they go back to regular price. I got several pieces of the softwear. It is that slinky stuff that is so comfortable and travels so well. They had their basic black marked down so I got pants, shell and jacket in that. Sorry, I am getting carried away here.
I bought a WATP tape yesterday. I plan to do it tomorrow morning. I got the 2 mile one. I am anxious to see if I like it.
Chari, The play sounds like fun. I love to go to plays. A bunch of us are going to start taking dance lessons. Won't that be fun?
Well, I am off to get ready for church. You all have a great day. I am having the kids over for dinner tonight, but I would love to try to chat with you all. What time do you do this? I know I have asked before, but I am old and forgetful. What can I say? :D

Good Morning Buddies..beautiful morning in my little corner of the world so far today...they are predicting rain later.....have my family picnic at 11:00 in Janesville so it will just be awesome to spend time with all the family members..weather is immaterial at this point..would love sunshine but will take whatever comes our way graemlins/crazy.gif
The news on Karen is awesome..a small sign of progress..Our Lord is amazing!!

CARLA..shopping trip like you had sounds like alot of fun..Hope you enjoy the WATP tapes..I have the tapes but my VCR doesn't work right..have a tape stuck in it right now..time to do something about that I guess graemlins/ugh.gif

Hello and good morning to all...not much to tell here same ole same ole....hot weather, but with some relief in site with the humidity for next week...yeah!...
Great news about Karen....Jeanette is a sweetheart of a sister..Blessings for both of them...Chari, you are right...I didn't meet Karen, but she just looks so sweet and has such a loving smile...
Kathy....enjoy your family reunion..I love those, but we don't have them anymore...we only get together on holidays with part of my family, I have only 2 aunts left and they aren't speaking!..It is a sad situation, but out of my hands...Danny's family don't do anything but gripe and bit** at each other and try to outdo each other....I got the best one out of that family...thank goodness, and every day gets better....he is a sweetheart!
Carla..shame on you for spending all of Tom's money!...just kidding...nothing like a good shopping trip to get your adrenilen pumping...

G’Mornin…. Beautiful day here in So. Calif. No big plans for today accept maybe a run over to Costco for a couple of things.

Let me say first that I’m ecstatic that we have heard hopeful news about Karen. God is watching over her but we have to keep on praying that’s for sure.

Carla, A NORDSTROM SALE!!! Wow, my favorite. Don’t you just love the bargains you can get when they have there annual sales? Do you happen to have a Nordstrom Rack near you? I wish I did but its down in the LA area and I don’t care to make THAT drive for a few dollar savings. I’ll just settle for the ½ yearly sales they have here at our Nordstrom. Norma, I hope the humidity isn’t too bad for you today and the rest of the week. We had a couple of days of humidity here and I couldn’t stand it. We’re not use to it in California.

I have a clean house and am ready for DS and his family. I haven't seem my grandson for 11 months. He is 15 months old now. WOW, my house is not child proof anymore. I did what I could, but we will have to watch him closely. Won't be posting much if at all this coming week. DS & family are arriving tomorrow at 8 am. They are going to rent a car, so I don't have to drive to SF and pick them up.

Have a good week-I will try to check in a few times.

A note at the end of the day...

Carla... Dancing lessons... wonderful.. We did that some time ago and had a ball. Wes has always be a good dancer, and found that the programed steps were not for him... We met at a dance so he likes his own free style... Which can get kinda fancy...I enjoyed learning the new steps and it was alot of good-- very good exercise..

I, too, bought a slinky material black suit, with a v-neck lace sleeveless under blouse with button down jacket and pants. and.... black strap heels. Now I got to find a place to wear it... Things are pretty casual here. We go to a lot of dances in AL so maybe there, but I like to dance in a skirt best, makes me feel more feminine..

Shopping is fun... go girl!!!!!!!!!!
