I had a very bizarre dream last night about trying to climb on board a wagon that was just far too high to access. I walked around and around trying to find a way to get on board. I finally managed to get on and was hanging on for dear life since it was not conducive to staying firmly on board. When I finally got myself situated in what I thought was a secure spot, someone put a plate full of fried food in front of me!!! Is this a telling dream or what?

I had a busy day yesterday with the two older grand children being here. Today the 11 year old is going to go with my other DD and the 16 year old is going with DH out to check on the hunting cabin. I will have some quiet time, but hopefully not too quiet. I slept late this morning so I guess they did tire me out.

DEE..I would say that your dream would qualify as a NIGHTMARE to me....enjoy your time alone today..I know grandkids can sure wear me out..I guess that is why we have kids when we are young!!I have a bumper sticker that says.."If I had known Grandchildren would be such fun, I would have had them first"...

Good Morning Buddies http://us.greet1.yimg.com/img.greetings.yahoo.com/g/img/wah/summer1.gif .....Dee, I hear you about the kids tiring you out..I got in the pool late yesterday with Jacob and Brennan..went to Walmart and ran into Traci and her children and Brennan wanted to come home with me and swim..of course, I didn't say no!..I slept pretty good last night , but I too had a really wierd dream...got to be from being over tired and over worked! New day today!, huh?
I am looking at a messed up house...those kids again!...things were hectic when Traci came to pick up Brennan...had another couple of friends come by about the same time right in the middle of my cooking supper..anyway he got gone before I realized NO toys had been picked up....I just went walking after that and on to bed with the mess still there....I don't usually do that.I like for things to be in place when I lay down, but didn't give a hoot last night!...
Well, yesterday was the hottest day of the year so far for us...so humid the air looked hazy when we were walking last night....gosh, it was hot, my hair was wet when we finished...
Well, I am going to get busy and pick up the den and kitchen and start breakfast, maybe the rest will arise if they smell something cooking!LOL

Good Morning buddies…. http://angelwinks.net/images/gmpod/gmpod43.jpg I haven’t posted in a while only because I’ve been so busy, I haven’t even had time to read the posts. But I will catch up hopefully sometime this weekend.

Woke up to a bit of rain today…leftovers from Charlotte according to the weatherman. It was so humid yesterday too and we’re not use to that. Went to a funeral yesterday of the athletic director/baseball coach of my children’s high school that they had graduated from. I use to work there and I was very active during the time my children attended. I was the president of the booster group and well, just a professional volunteer I guess. I’ve never been to a funeral that the church (which is huge) was full and people standing in the back. Coach O’ was a great man and loved by thousands and touched the lives of millions according to all the articles in the paper. He touched our lives that’s for sure. At the end of the service, they played the song, “Put Me In Coach, I’m Ready To Play”. There wasn’t a dry eye in the church……

I’ve been doing well and still loosing and staying OP. DH quit his job a week ago but will be starting a new one on Monday. Thanks to the union. I was a bit stressed for a few days and found myself not eating well. By that, I mean hardly eating and I think that’s why the loss lately. But I’m eating more of what I should be so hope I continue losing.

Dee. , I agree with Kathy, your dream sounded more like a nightmare. Get some rest today buddy.

Kathy, have a grand time at the family picnic. Wow, what fun you’ll have with all that many family members in attendance. I sure hope it doesn’t rain and that they don’t have to move it indoors. Keep that smile on your face.

Norma, take it easy my friend. Sounds like you’re getting overworked there with all the company and the demands of family members. Think of Norma today and take it easy….I know easier said then done, but try, my friend. Oh BTW saw the pix from your vacation and you look fabulous. I can really see the weight loss from your previous pictures.

Well, I hope everyone has a comfortable day today and that the humidity doesn’t get too bad for those of you who have to experience it and it doesn’t rain too much around the country where they don’t need it.

I’ll be keeping Jeanette and Karen in my prayers again today as I’m sure most of you will as well.

Hello! I'm going to try to make this short as I am supposed to be at Ann's in a few minutes. Of course, once I get talking to you, I just keep going! Tom and I were at Meijer at 8 this morning. We had both gotten up early and decided to just throw some clothes on and go. I came back and made a big fruit salad and have a roast ready to cook tomorrow. Yummy! While cutting my pineapple, I realized that my electric knife desperately needs replaced. I rec'd it as a wedding gift over 34 years ago! Believe the blades are just a little dull. I am also in the market for a new scale. Ours is doing some crazy weighing. This morning I had dropped 15 lbs! Wow, wish that was true! Tom said don't replace it I'm losing weight! LOL.
Dee, Maybe you should relax a little today. That was one weird dream. Hope you have a good weekend.
Kathy, I love family reunions! Ours is in 3 weeks and I can't wait. Have fun at yours, inside or out.
Norma, I still occasionally whine for a pool, but Tom is sticking to his guns. :confused: I love to picture you floating around and your grandsons splashing and having a ball. What fun. Have a great day.
Julie, Good to see you posting, my friend. Your coach sounds like quite a man. What a nice tribute to him that so many came to the church. Going to the beach today?
Oh, I forgot to tell you that we went to see Pirates of the Caribbean last night. I really liked it. Just a fun movie with lots of light-hearted moments. I give it 2 thumbs up.

Its a nice day, so will work in the garden this am and then take Moka swimming this afternoon. Had a great day in Ukiah with DS, DD and her family. Tony turned 15 yesterday. We went to Ukiah to visit him. He was surprised to see us(his dad and me). We all went out to dinner before DH & I came home last night. My older ds and his family are coming Monday from GA. I won't be posting next week, as I will be busy with them. I will try to lurk to keep up with you all. Don't worry if you don't see any post from me. Will be enjoying the family.
