OT-Movie "25th Hour"

Hey movie buffs (Dee and anyone)!

I talked to my daughter Virginia last night and she was telling me about this movie. In it, playing Edward Norton's best friend, is a young man by the name of Barry Pepper. He is a Canadian, but more importantly grew up on my own Denman Island; went to school with my DDs and was my youngest DD's (Virginia) first serious boyfriend. He is not classically handsome, he has a very angular face, blond hair but is a great young upcoming actor. He was in the "Green Mile", "Saving Private Ryan", "Enemy of the State", "Knock about Boys," and a few others I can't remember. It's wonderful to watch his career and his mom is a friend of mine. Watch for him - I have to wait until movies come out on video. Just another slice of my life! graemlins/wave.gif

Diana that is exciting news....that would really be fun to keep track of someone you personally know making it in the big time..How does your daughter feel about him being a big star now??

People get a bit of a giggle up when they hear his name. :D :D Then they look at me say say and your Demi?? :eek: (and laugh even harder) :confused: . I know I'm no oil painting, but hey they don't have to remind me of it. tongue.gif tongue.gif
