A year ago today I started WW and joined BCB, then I weighed 242, had a BMI of of 34, was wearing a size 18/20.....
This wasn't the first time I had been on WW...I'd lose 10-20 lbs then quit, but I had promised myself this time it was going to be different...

I had grand plans a year ago...I would hit goal within 6 months....I never thought I would hit a plateau and if I did I would jusst quit, and I certainly never thought I would struggle to stay OP.....And exercise? Me? Never! Drink water? Ah...maybe.....

Well here I am now a year wiser, still not at goal, but that's okay cause I am now at 196, with a BMI of 27, and wearing size 12/14...I have hit a plateau (5 months) and I did not quit, I did not give up (though at times I wanted to) and I have had days where I have struggled to stay OP...I have learned that I can not measure my success by others success, that I can eat out if I choose to, that even though I don't think i will love exercise I love the way it makes me feel...And water...I can't live with out it!!!!!

A year ago, I was still in dream mode, I wanted to lose weight, but I couldn't think of goal in terms of reality, it was just to hard to envision, I was to unsure of myself.....Now I know I will get to goal (I am hoping that by the time next August 4th rolls around I will be claiming lifetime!)

I have meet some pretty wonderful people along the way...who with something they have said has helped me stay OP when the going has gotten tough, or maybe it was a somthing they told about their own struggles that hit home with me...The support I have gotten here overwhelms me at times, and I know without you guys I would have never made it through the first three months much less a year.....

Here's to the next year!!!!

Yeah Trish! Congratulations on the anniversary! :D That's the good thing about this program - it's fairly easy to live with! We all know what happens when we quit, and most of the gals can tell you it doesn't get any easier as you get older. So! Onwards and downwards!! Way to go!

Trish, I think I could have written this same letter. I can't believe how much I have changed this time around. I am exercising regularly, and in fact today I've been calling around trying to find ankle weights so I can start a strengthening regime. I never thought I would do that. Congratulations on your anniversary, and here's to many more once you reach goal.

Happy Anniversary! You are doing such a great job, even with that yucky plateau. Just think, isn't how you feel now so much better than one year ago? Even if you stay this weight for awhile, you are still MUCH better off than if you had quit, and started eating out of control. You'll make it to goal, I just KNOW you will!!

CONGRATULATIONS TRISH!
As others have said, you've been an inspiration. When I hit my own very long & frustrating plateau, I remembered watching you stick with it through yours, & knew I could do it too. The lessons we learn along the way are equally, if not MORE important than reaching our goals.

I wish you continued success in this journey we are all on together.
