G'day guys graemlins/wave.gif

what a beautiful Sunday it is, sun is shining ever so brightly and I'm stuck indoors getting all DH's tax stuff ready for the accountant graemlins/ugh.gif (tax time down here) But will go out after for an 11k walk :D Would go outside with all the receipts etc, but it's way too windy for that!

Tomorrow I'm off into the city, picking up my Layby for a gorgeous dress for my nephews wedding in November, one of those dresses that I fell in love with the instant I saw it! Then on off to the Melbourne Trade Fair, I was checking and applied through work, it's usually for buyers etc, but I just love to sticky beak, and it'll be so cheap, cos you can't buy anything ;)

Unfortunately, will miss chat, as DH snored his frigging head off last night, last time I checked the time it was 4am, and was up again at 6  I can't believe his legs aren't bruised, I kicked him real good in anger!!!! Each time I turned the light on to start reading again he'd stop snoring, turn it out and he'd start on up again. Normally I'd go sleep on the couch, there's always DD's bed, but I'm not sleeping in that after I know waht the ex #+*%^$% and her used to get up to!!!!!!!!!

Morning,
I need to get some work done, so I'll check back later on.
Linda, I hope DD is okay, thank goodness you are having her tested. DH is doing ok, radiation therapy starts on the 6th.
Mary, I can understand the hurt. I notice with my boys that girls make the family plans and their mother's come first. But when it gets down to the nitty gritty DS calls or comes to me first.
Ice isn't it great to have a wonderful relationship, have fun during your visit. Having her close will be wonderful.
JAnice,
How scarey is that!!! I hope you will be safe. I read about these fires, they come every year and we still cannot stop them.
Nancy sounds like a fun place to go, JAIL? NOT!!!
Glad you enjoyed it.
see you at the chat.

Good morning buddies,

I'm hanging out waiting for chat to start. It's so quiet here with dd gone. She's due back later this morning. We plan to see Spy Kids 3-D later this afternoon, and go to the Spiedie Fest balloon launch (weather permitting).

I also plan to spend a lot of time working.

I hope everyone has a great OP Sunday!

Good morning! I'm still half asleep, as my coffee is not ready yet. I went to my aunt's surprise birthday party, and was home by 10:30 pm, but then stayed up late last night cleaning. Go figure! At least I got a lot done.

It rained again last night, so it's cool again today. It looks like the rain might keep up, so I'm not sure how much yard work I'll get done. I definitely have to clean my gutters, though.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

Just checking in graemlins/wave.gif
Taking sd to prime outlet mall in a bit to spend our tax credit.
What I don't like right now is that when I come to this site, the pop ups pop on my screen automatic like, I just looked up and saw I was typing onto a pop up.
Yesterday was a heavy carb day so today I'm really gong to watch myself.

ciao'

Cheryl, you can always download a pop-up stopper. Dawn (FirstCavWife) posted a link a couple of weeks ago for http://www.pop-up-killer.net, and I've used one in the past from Pop-Up Stopper. They have a free version you can download at http://www.popupstopper.com/product_psfree.html

I had to download them -- the pop-up ads are so annoying to me that it was either get rid of them, or stop coming to the site.

I just talked to my guys and they are on the road, coming home. They were in Biloxi.

DS just walked by chuckling. I asked him what was up and he told me he just wasn't used to seeing me with nail polish on. LOL I think I have neglected myself for waaaaay too long!

On my way back to Old Navy. DS loved the shorts he got and wants more for school. So, I'm on the road again... AFTER I go make myself a low point lunch so I can avoid the fast food trap!

Everyone enjoy your Sunday!

Hi Buds:

Every-one must be out and enjoying the weather because it's sure slow here today. Just got back from my walk and I actually enjoyed walking by myself. It gives you time to clear the old noggen and just enjoy the time alone. Mind you I was trying to walk fairly fast so I used alot of energy just trying to breath  . That tells me I sure have to step up the pace when I walk from now on. I don't want to suffer to badly when I go back to work in Sept.

Well the fire situation is about the same only one of the fires that is closest to Kamloops has growen (about doubled) and the military has been brought in to help fight the fires and firefighters from Alberta have also been brought in so hopefully they can get this under control. Because of the burned power poles and such any-one around here with Shaw Cable is without their internet hook up right now :( and they are not sure when they will get it back. Glad we are with Telus.

Bizz: Ok Bizz I have to ask what does sticky beak mean  Sounds like a bird with gum on the end of his nose. I can totally relate to the snoring I would put a pillow over his face but I think thats illegal!!!!

Tina: I think the only thing that can help right now is a change in the weather.

Nancy: I have thought about going into the chat room but I've never done it and I'm kinda nervous about doing something wrong.

Mardee: Wish you could send some of that rain our way.

ciao: That pop up killer really works good.

Debbie: I think some times we get so busy looking after every-one else we forget about ourselves. Its really nice that DS noticed must make you feel good.

Well I have to go and think about getting supper started for DH as he is working tonight. Hopefully I will be able to check back in later.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Thanx for the chat Buddies, it was short for me but fun, as always.

Went to church, then DMIL treated us to lunch at On The Border. Had the lunch-size fajitas and still brought some home.

Then we drove out to Tinker AFB - DFIL retired as Chief Master Seargent of the Air Force... so DMIL has a military ID. She likes to shop at the commissary... me and boys went with her to the BX while she got some stuff for her new house. We also picked up some fresh dice (got a set of 5, so would that be 5 dice or 5 'die'???), and got some Yahtzee score cards! Plan to teach my DS's how to play Yahtzee later tonight, should be a hoot!

DMIL so exhausted from her last week in California, getting ready to move, so she is taking a nap now. I, of course, am doing laundry and thinking about dinner. Will have several fresh veggies, brown basmati rice, and some grilled chicken breasts.

I bought 2 cookbooks yesterday at my WW mtg - the Pizza one and the 5 ingredient one. Both on sale for $10. My leader tells me that the points in them will still be valid with the "new" program... I think they are just clearing out anything that says Winning Points because the new name will be Flex Points. Recipes look great, and I need some new stuff to try!

Well, I'm off to handle that laundry. Have a Blessed Sunday everyone!

Good Afternoon All graemlins/wave.gif ,
Made it to chat this morning, YAHOO, it was so fun! Then I forgot to post 'cause I had to go to H20 aerobics. Had an OK class with someone who is learning to be an instructor.
Came home, went out in my own pool for a while and then took a nice little nap with my snuggly puppy.
Hope everybuddy had a great day, I am going out to grill my chicken breast, going to add some roasted red potatoes and a tossed salad, YUMMMY!

I got home from church and dd wasn't home yet, but there was a message that she wanted to stay another night. I was torn. I didn't want to spoil her fun, but I didn't want to lose the whole weekend either! graemlins/sobbing.gif We had plans to see a movie and go to a festival, and I get very little time with dd except on weekends. Dh insisted we call them back, so we did, and by then dd had remembered the plans too and wanted to come home. smile.gif So we drove up there (1-1/2 hours) and back. By then there wasn't time to do both, so we went to the spiedie festival and balloon rally. We did a lot of stuff but due to threatening weather they didn't launch any ballons. We decided not to wait for the fireworks.

Interesting thought - dd did not want any of the food they had. It was all "fair food" - mostly greasy and either sugary or salty, OK for once in a while, but that's what she'd apparently been eating all weekend and she didn't want any more. Good for her, I think! She came home and had a bowl of cereal for dinner.

We have postponed the movie (Spy Kids 3) to Wednesday, the next evening I have open.

And I'm at home and everyone's here and I feel better. Now to get some work done!

Hi Buddies! Today is DH's and my anniversary and we had a wonderful day together (though it did exclude chat graemlins/sobbing.gif )

We took the kids to the Arboretum (sp?) in Dallas and really enjoyed ourselves--plus got some AP.

I'm taking the day off tomorrow to work on wedding stuff and house stuff. It's just never-ending! And now school is getting ready to start--WHERE did this summer go?????

I'm here right now to keep from eating and it's working so I'm going to bed before I cave in . . . I've eaten all my available points already.

'Nite buddies!
