I have been lurking mostly during the past 2 weeks and finally decided that it is time to take a break from WW. Despite others' wonderful success, I have been unable to achieve much weight loss. Maybe I lost my "click"; it just seems for me that journaling simply requires that I think about food 24/7 and that leads to negative results. I am consumed & overwhelmed by thinking, planning and journaling. I am trying a less stressful method which I hope will show me the results I crave since I am envious of everyone who has such great losses. I know it's not an accident, that everyone is working hard to achieve success and I applaud you. It just isn't the method that works for me. I will miss you all and will be lurking to keep up with your activities. BCB is like an addiction...I can't really stay away, but I don't feel I can come when I am not living the philosophy. Good luck.

Dear Ellen:
I hate to see you go, but I can certainly understand how you feel. It is sometimes very hard to not let food consume you, when you have to plan, plan, journal, journal. I think I have found a happy medium by trying new recipes and using foods I haven't tried before.
Since I have been stuck for 8 months, I can understand your problem of not losing, also. I'm close to goal, though, so I can tough it out.
Please don't leave us forever.
If there is anything I can do to help you, or figure a way you can stay with us, please let me know.
I will miss you.

Ellen,

I don't know what to say. On the one hand, I know how frustating it is to get stuck on a plateau and have to worry about every little thing you put in your mouth, on the other, what will happen if you stop worrying about it? At any rate, I wish you well and hope whatever happens, you come back to us when you've worked it all out. We'll miss you for sure!

Ellen ((((((((HUGS)))))))) for you.

I know exactly where you are coming from and can totally relate to being on a plateau. I have been at the same weight within a couple of pounds since about November.

I hope that you have success. Take care

Ellen, we sure will miss you around here. I along with many others can relate to how you are feeling. Unfortunately, once we've all reached goal, it still can take many years for it all to become second nature! I wish you well with your new program and hope that you still pop in to say g'day.

Ellen: I sure will miss you. I wish you great success in whatever course you choose. Please come back and visit now and then! It's sad to see one of the ones leave that was here when I started. It's kind of an empty feeling. Please come visit often. Good Luck!

Ellen,

I completely understand about you not wanting to think about food all the time - it was one of the things I was afraid would happen with me too. The reality for most of us is that we WILL have to pay attention to what we eat for the rest of our lives. The trick is how to balance that without becoming obsessed about it.

I know you'll find a balance that works for you graemlins/kiss.gif Check in with us and let us know how you're doing!
