Good morning ya'll,
Not alot going on with me today. DH has to work. When I get home from WW, I will start on the yardwork and try to get it done before he gets home. Then tomorrow he can rest on his day off.
Tonight I'm grilling chicken breast and veggies. I've got a recipe for a mango salsa that I may try too.
I'll check back when I get back from WI.
Everyone have a great day.

Good morning, a few minutes earlier and I would have beat Cinna to the post...lol
GOsh Linda, maybe I am getting older....It was 6am and I was wide awake, I laid in bed but finally gave up and got up. Now here I sit, drinking my coffee, it is so quiet, just me and my bcb.
I am off to my parents this morning, it is supposed to be hot, hot, hot and humid today. THe auction begins at 9am but we are not going to get there at nine, although since I am up so early I wouldn't have a problem getting there.
Got to finish getting the girls packed, plus pack a little bit for me. We leave Sunday around 11am.
Gram, I do hope that Vertigo stuff gets better. I don't think that company will ever get it together. What an adventure and you get paid too....lol
LynnB, I was thinking about you yesterday, wondering how you were doing. I miss seeing your posts too. I know that you are busy, but you need to get some "me time". You so deserve it.
Cinna, the mango salsa sounds good. Good luck at wi.....skinny vibes comming you way.
Mary, our refining that we just did was a nightmare too. In fact, I don't think I know anyone that didn't go through hell getting it done. It will all be over soon.
Linda, I took a look at the avon pics, wow great pics and it looks like a fantastic time.
Well, kids I am going to jump in the shower and get my day started.
To everyone, have a great OP day.

graemlins/wave.gif Good morning y'all! Well, I'm sitting here waiting to go get some coffee and jump on the scales at WW. I hope it isn't too ugly. By my scales, I'm soooooo close. Who knows? I'll just "suck it up and move on"! I already have my check written out and am going to get there very early. After WW, I'll go to the gym and then home to do a little housework, yardwork and pool time!
Cinna-That Mango Salsa sounds awesome! Yummy!
Becky-I said hello to someone else in your family on AIM this morning! LOL LOL I couldn't believe that you were up already! ROFLMBO
Lindalou-I was shocked to see that they weren't going to be doing an Avon walk in Portland next year. Will you do it somewhere else?
Prayers, love, hugs and **********{SV's}}}}}}} to all and I'm keeping a few for me! Have a great OP day y'all!

Guten morgen, mein freunds! I got a ton of sleep last night -- I started falling asleep around 10 pm, and finally staggered into bed around 10:30. I must have needed it.
I went to visit my uncle in the hospital after work. He was joking and laughing with the nurses and chomping at the bit to get out. He doesn't realize the extent of his illness. He told me he maybe had a little cancer, and that the doctors will get rid of it and he'll go home. I imagine that the doctors have told him the lung cancer has metastized throughout his body, but that he's in denial. I feel so bad for him and his family -- I know how rough it can be to go through that.
Today I'm going to work around the house and yard -- the basement is screaming my name, saying "Clean me!, Clean me!" smile.gif I think I'm going to a movie tomorrow with a friend, but I don't know which one.
Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

Good Morning All graemlins/wave.gif ,
I am up with the Quail this morning. They were so noisy in the backyard it work me up. I went out and fed them and now they are noisier than ever.
FINALLY got closed on the house yesterday. I was beginning to think it wasn't going to happen at all and I was to the point that I was going to say "I have had enough and I can't take anymore!"
Nothing much except H20 aerobics on the schedule for today.
Better get the rear in gear-I am hungry this morning.
Have a great day everybuddy!

Hi to my Fabulous Buddies graemlins/wave.gif
Well, I've gotten to know you all through Sunday morning and Wednesday night chats and have always read this thread. I guess it's about time that I start to post on it. (Problem is, I've always thought that my life was never that interesting enough that others would want to read about it) But, I want to to a true Fab through and through....so here goes.
As far as today goes, was supposed to work but had to call in sick as a little under the weather. Hoping to feel well enough to return to work tomorrow, but will wait and see. Anyhow am anticipating a very boring day despite how I feel. Will probably spend most of it at the computer going through the boards!!!
Hope you all have a GREAT OP DAY :D

Morning buddies,
Have made a successful start to day 4 of focusing on the "right mix" brochure (week 6). I reevaluated my food needs to keep me satisfied and it looks like a higher protein/lower carb ratio is for me now. I have kept to losing pts for 3 days now and feel great this morning. It's a beautiful day and I'm taking the kiddies out to enjoy it so a big hello to everybuddy and enjoy your OP weekend!
Mary-I wish I could get my hands on a doctor scale. Nearest thing I have is go to DH's store and hang myself from the "standing beef" scale. You'd die if you saw it. It has this anchor-type hook that you hook the beef on and otherwise it's a balance scale like the doctors office. :D tongue.gif But it'll work in a pinch. Maybe I'll do that today. Only thing is I only get a couple of chances to change the weights on it to get it balanced--reason being the hook is awfully small for me to hold onto. DH wants to hang me by my shirt tongue.gif . He's enjoying this too much!

Morning Buddies! I am so glad to be here this morning! I came home last night and turned on the new laptop to find the BSOD - BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH! It took me until 11:30 last night to stabilize the dang thing, then I had to get up this morning and repair the network connection! I think something is wrong with the evil wireless router they sent me. If I unplug it, things work, if I plug it in, I'm back to BSOD! I have my student coming over tomorrow to help me. If we can't get the wireless going, I'm fine with the wire, but will send the evil router back to Dell for a refund.
I stayed the same at WI this morning. Am kicking up the exercise a few notches though. Hopefully, it will get things moving. It's been tough for me to get back into the gym after all the glorious outdoor exercise, but it has to be that way with the heat. Also, I need the upper body workout to burn the fat.
Cinna - I need to try some new recipes too. I'm adding grapefruit and plums to my food list this week. They are relatively low-sugar fruits.
Becky - I really hate that the early rising is a sign of aging, but I have to admit that I like being able to get up earlier -- especially on the weekends!
Sal - I'm not surprised that there will be on Avon walk in Portland next year. I was so disappointed with the turnout, so I can imagine how the Avon folks felt. There was a total of about 535 walkers, crew, and volunteers in Portland. Last year in Seattle, we had 3200 walkers alone! Don't know what happend with Portland -- not enough publicity? I'm wondering about next year. I might like to do San Francisco, but then again, the fundraising is killer. It is, however, as I keep telling myself, a lot easier than having cancer! I would want someone to put out max effort for me if I were ill.
Donna - we all manage to do these things because we are WOMEN! tongue.gif Hear us roar!
Mardee - vie gehts? I too need to do massive clean up today. I will be hauling a bunch of recycles to the center. I haven't had the time to crunch them all up on "garbage night" lately because I've been at the church. Of course, I'm too disorganized to do them on other evenings!
Mary - congrats on finishing all the paperwork. Why does mortgage stuff have to be so hard? Especially my last refinance -- I was refinancing with the same dang bank! Sheesh!
Tina - you're in our heart and prayers too -- hope you enjoy your company!
Karen - I don't think anyone could have a life that is much duller than mine! We're just all extraordinary people here - you included!
Marie - getting the right mix takes a lot of experimentation and work. So glad you found what works well for you!
Well gals, there's a sale at the quilt shop and I have lots of cleaning to do. I can't let a student who thinks I'm the cat's meow (for an old lady) to see my house in this state! Then it's off to Mass at my new church! I'm kind of excited.
Love to all!

Linda,
If you'd get on AIM once in a while we could have a real conversation, but this will have to do, I guess. tongue.gif My sister and I were actually talking about doing the one in either Chicago or SF. That would be so fun! Let me know what you decide!

Wheweee! Do I need a shower! I've been trying to clean the house which, of course, means I had to make a disaster of it before I could clean it! I am covered in sweat and I smell terrible. It's quarter to 11:00, so I think I'd better hop in the shower and hit the hay so I can make chat in the morning.
Went to Mass at St. Mary's tonight -- it was really nice.
