HI buddies I hope everyone has a great day. We had fun yesterday with my parents. I ate too much yesterday so I have to really cut back today.I was so happy I maintained for two weeks, We rented two movies Phone Booth and the The Gift. I am going to watch them after I go exercise. I don't feel like jogging today so I will go walk around my neighborhood and do two miles. Have a good one!

Good Morning everyone.
I am so beat, mentally and physically from the past couple of days with the boys staying here. Bill and his DD are due back here around noon. That was actually a stipulation for me watching them to begin with. I told them they had to be back by noon so I could have time for myself because of how stressed I am from work.
I must sound so mean the past couple of days venting about these boys. It's just I can't understand that they have no basic life skills. They do not know how to take their shoes off, wash themselves, dry themselves, etc. I really have a feeling that it is their mother doing everything for them, because last night after their bath's I told the older to get out and I told him to dry off and he stood there with his arms out for me to dry him. I told him no and taught him to do it himself. It took a couple of tries, but he did do it. Now what is the problem in her doing this? Even if she had to show him every night, he still needs to learn to do it himself. I can see I am going to have a chat with her when she picks them up. I am not going to be rude, I just really want to know why they don't know how to even attempt these things by themselves. They don't even try, they just put their foot out for someone to do their shoes (an example).
Anyway, I did have a good OP day yesterday. Babysitter Jamie has put on a couple of pounds, that are very visible for the type of clothes she wears. Last night when we got the kids to bed, her and I did The Firm Sculpted Buns, Hips and Thighs. LOL
Sumari- I got your PM. Thank goodness for being able to reverse bank if needed!!! That is great that you had such a good time with your parents. I miss my dad soooooo much and can't wait to see him next weekend!!!
OK everyone. I am off for some more much needed coffee.
Be back later.

Hi Ladies, Good Morning!
I'm off to the gym to do a cardio, start my week off right! I also need to move, I had Advil for breakfast again LOL. Cory is going with his dad to watch him play basketball and then we all are going up to Kessler Institute (rehab center for injuries and illness) to visit Jeff's dad who's birthday is today. He actually had the same surgery I had, but he has Parkinson's and isn't in good physical shape, so he is going to be at the rehab center for a few months. I hope you all have a great day, I'm going to go MOVE!!
Jen - You don't sound mean, your honest. I'm glad your "term" is almost over and I hope you do get that free time you need today, you more than deserve it. (((Hugs)))
Lori Bluff - Thinking of you sweetie, I hope your enjoying the weekend smile.gif
Sumari - I'm so glad your having fun with mom and dad. I noticed your excersise the past few weeks has been wonderful, Good for you!! I know you had a struggle there for awhile to get in the groove and I feel so proud of you smile.gif
Okay off to boogie, Happy Sunday to All. Hugs, Jilli
I'm pooped!! What a long day we had yesterday!!
The recital was great! holly did a wonderful job and didn't talk to anyone while she danced!! She was so thrilled that the teacher gave them ballet medals afterwards!! Then home to her party which she really enjoyed!! Then I noticed she was getting that rash back during the day so at 6;00 I called to get an appointment for the doctor. They think it's a rash from a viral infection? She did have a little cold at the begining of the month so that's what the doctor thinks it is?? I'm still not sure but it doesn't itch it just looks icky!! I'm going to try to keep her out of the sun today!! We didn't get home until 9:30 last night!! Full day ya!!
I'll post new pics tomorrow!
Have a great sunday! I'm off to a campaign kick off party!! another all day thing!

Morning everyone!
I woke up with a boatload of energy for some reason this morning. So far, I did 30 min on the treadmill and 30 min of strength training, then put dinner in the crockpot and made myself breakfast. Now I'm enjoying the porch with my breakfast and my bcb buddies before it gets to sticky out here. I have a ton to do today, so I guess it's a good thing I'm feeling energetic.
Jen - aw honey, I know how you feel. I think I've told you before that my little brother is mentally retarded and has a mild autistic tendency as well. My mother does the same crap that Bill's daughter does. My 30 year old brother waits for his food to be cut up before he will eat. We don't do that for him when he's here..we'll help hold the fork and knife to slice, but he has to do it. Funny thing, he's so proud of himself when he does stuff like that that he tells his Mom (and then of course I get in trouble). These little guys are capable and have alot of potential. I'm not sure why Bill's daughter doesn't work with them to expand their independence and life skills. I know why my mom doesn't. She likes the fact that Kevin is dependent on her and NEEDS her for everything. How selfish is that? What does she think will happen to him when she's gone? Maybe Bill's daughter is a little scared that the boys won't need her as much if they get a little independence. Kevin will never be able to live on his own, but as you say, basic life skills ya know? Ok, off my soap box now. I hope you have a wonderful "me" portion of the day after everyone leaves.
Sumari - glad you're having fun with your folks. Have a great rest of the weekend!
Jilli - have fun at the gym. I giggled over the Advil for breakfast. How are you feeling overall? I got my exercise done for the day to and started the week off right! graemlins/bcbsalute.gif Have a great day.
Barb - Oh, I can't wait to see pictures. Weird about the rash! Glad she feels ok though. Keep us posted. How did Chynna handle all the attention being on her sis yesterday?
Bluff - Happy Sunday friend! Hope it's a peaceful day for you and your family.
Ok, off to see if Barb started the exercise thread and get some stuff done! Have a great day everyone!

Just a quick hello from me! The word of the day is HOT! It is very warm out there (not even noon yet), Thank Goodness the wind is blowing...it would be AWFUl out there otherwise.
No exercise yet...it was raining when I got up, and Jilly (my baby) was alone with me in the house (the others were sleeping in the trailer last night). I couldn't take her with me, and I couldn't leave her alone graemlins/ugh.gif . Maybe tonight I'll get a walk in. I don't know if I've ever mentioned this, Jilly has some physical limitations that make it hard to "keep up" with us (low muscle tone, and she really walks from the hip, and not the knee). She is not seriously enough impaired to surgically fix things, but she sure is slow-moving. We try our best to slow down for her. While I could have brought the other two with me, poor Jilly would have been two hours to do what takes me 20 minutes. We do special walks with her, where we go at HER pace. She is getting better, and is proud of herself. She finally mastered the tricycle (she is 4 1/2 yrs), and I hope she will get used to the bike with training wheels by fall. I see some gymnastics in her future...it will help out her muscle tone.
Well, I should go see what I can do to help DH on the treefort...this is taking forever!
I'll check in later!

Good Afternoon Everyone.
Well so much for them coming back by noon. They finally decided to CALL me at 12:45 to tell me they were about 1/2 hour out! I was sooooo pissed. Bill was the one who called me and I lit into him. When they got here, I really didn't say much, then DD had the nerve to ask if I was mad..........I told her how inconsiderate and selfish she was not to pick up a phone to tell me they would be late. She said "Oh I lost track of time" I then reminded her what the stipulation was that I would watch them....be back by noon to get them....NOT 1:30. I was sooooo mad. Especially since right before they walked in the door the older pushed Garrett right off the couch into the coffee table. I basically was like get the kids, get your $h!t and go. I didn't even bother with talking to her about the life skills thing because I was just so mad I didn't feel like getting it any worse.
Because of all of this, after they left and some little talk , I have been giving Bill the silent treatment, mainly because he is home and pushing Garrett off onto Jamie and myself. I told him too bad, we had kids all weekend....go play with your son.
GGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
OK. I feel better that I vented to you guys!
Jilli- I hope you enjoy your day visiting FIL. WTG on getting in the cardio. I am waaaaay yoo pooped to do much of anything. I think I might actually have a drink tonight.
Barb- Glad to hear that Miss Holly had such a great time. They love to get awards don't they! Thanks for sharing the pics, she looks sooooooooooooo cute!!!!!!
LoriT- Thank you sooooo much for sharing what you did. I really was feeling like crap for saying what I did and perhaps I was reading it wrong, but between venting here and talking to one of my friends on the phone earlier, it seems just like with your mom. I feel for our situations. You definately made me feel better in how I am feeling about the whole thing.
Annie- How special that you do your own walks with Jilly. I'll bet she will excel at gymnastics, especially with caring parents supporting her like yourselves.
Oh well, time to continute ignoring Bill. HEHEHE

Back again. The laundry is swishing, the house is clean, and I'm sitting down to do some of my studying stuff now. It's not even 3:30....feel like I've packed a lot of stuff into my day today. Gotta pay the bills too before the day is out... .
Jen - Sorry Bill and his daughter were so rude in getting back late. You shouldn't feel bad about what you said earlier. I think it was very true and well thought out. Maybe when you're done ignoring Bill, you could leave the kids with him and go have a little drive and R&R time for you. I bet things will look much better after that. Hang in there buddy!
Boy the board is quiet today. Everyone must be having a good weekend smile.gif

Hey Buddies,
Typical Sunday here. Thinking of going to the movies later but not sure what we're going to see.
Sumari - Glad you had a great time w/ your parents. Did they leave already or are they staying until tomorrow?
Jen - Sorry that your weekend didn't go to good. Can't wait to see you next week. B&B Seafood is no longer there. New owners took over about 3 years ago & then it closed about a year later. As for All-America... Yummy. I grew up not that far from there. How about letting your sister or father take the kids there this way you're not too tempted. Vacation mode should be kicking in by Tuesday :D
Jilli - Hope you're having a nice visit w/ your FIL. Hang in there buddy, the pain will ease little by little.
Barb - Holly looks so cute. Glad you had a nice time.
Lori T - Enjoy your day!

Hey all,
Any room for a stranger to butt in and say hi to y'all?
It was our 6th anniversary yesterday and we celebrated by going to Klondike Days where yours truly was brave enough to tackle the Roller Coaster with DH. He was thrilled! He's been hinting since we got married that he'd like to take me on one but this big chicken had to wait for 6 years until she got skinny enough to get her self confidence back before she tackled that baby. I did great! I screamed like this cute little 10 year old boy behind us and had a blast. I even behaved myself with the fair food too.
Annie, girl I hear you on the weather. It is smoking hot today! So what do we decide to do? Tackle all the major house cleaning and DH is tearing down our shed. Sometimes I question our mental stability smile.gif
Jen, sounds like you've had the weekend from hell and I'm so sorry that Bill and DD treated you and your feelings that way. Here's a hug and hope that it helps in some small way to know that we feel for you. Have some wonderful "you" time this afternoon.
Jilli, poor you. Advil for breakfast is not a great way to start the day but it did bring a smile to my face this afternoon to hear you are tackling the cardio and working through the aches and pains. You are my hero girlie smile.gif Thanks for the tips on the email about protein. I am down 4 lbs. in 3 weeks and am sitting at 147 which I don't think I've seen since I was probably 16 years old. Whoo hoo! Great way to celebrate turning 30 in a few weeks.
LoriT, your energy burst has got me applauding for you. What a great way to start the day. How is BubbaJr doing these days?
Barb, I'll have to check out Holly's pics. Sounds like she was in seventh heaven yesterday. Too cute.
Sumari, enjoy the visit with your folks and have a great day.
Jodi, enjoy the movie, whatever you decide to see. I may have to hint to DH as that sounds like a great idea.
Well off to finish up and get the kitchen floor washed. Have a wonderful day to all I've missed.

Hello everyone,
Well it was a crazy graemlins/crazy.gif day for me at work today. Someone in my dept called in sick and I couldn't find a replacement for her. Luckily my part timers came in so I had someone else with me through out the day. But i had to cancel some groups for the residents because we couldn't cover them all. :( I think I earned major AP's today.
Luckily it's an evening all about me tonight. I'm usually at my DBF but he's having a guy's night( which he rarely does). So I'm going to kick up my heels, do a pedicure and try to get my needle pt project done.Already went to the bookstore to get some books to read on my trip to FL in a couple of weeks. Fannie Flagg's new book and the 1st Harry Potter book.
Jen- hope the week goes better than the weekend. Here's hoping that the work is less and that you get that raise that you deserve.
Jilli- hope you had a nice visit with your FIL
Barb I'm glad the recital went well!!Holly is such a cutie
To everyone else hope you had a great weekend. Off to see if any restaurants in the town I'm staying have online menus.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. My boys are home :D ! I missed them so much. Mom stayed here til this morning, and she painted the boys' room, and put up new curtains. Finally got that done. The kids are 8 and 5 and we just got rid of the "nursery"! Now they have a "boys" room. Promised myself I'll get up early tomorrow morning and get back into my work out routine. I've been bad lately...Last week, I only did 2 days, and that was probably the best week in the last month!
Spent the day cleaning the camper and getting ready for our weekend trip coming up. Can't wait to go!

just checking in for the night...
DH took the older two fishing for the evening, so Jilly and I hit the streets. She was disappointed not to go fishing, but two was all DH could handle. We stopped at the park, and she was happy.
Milena: it was/is very hot here too. I don't do well in this heat...I am much better in the cold. Tried to water the garden, but the hose broke, and I ended up watering myself  .
Jen: I hope you got in some ME time this afternoon! I know I get all snakey if I don't get a few hours a week by myself. It is much harder in the summer months, but I manage to sneak in a couple rounds of golf! Sometimes these men of ours just don't understand! Vent away, my friend!
Pam: WTG on the rollercoaster! You are soooo much more brave that me! DH has been on the one at WEM, but you couldn't pay me enough money to ride that thing!
Lizzy: Which Fanny Flagg book? I just finished "Welcome to the World, Baby Doll" yesterday. I thought it was a bit dull at first, and so many characters introduced so quickly, it was hard to keep them all straight. But by halfway, I was hooked, and could not put it down...Not a bad book! What a concidence...The 1st HP book is sitting on my coffee table, waiting for me to start!
Barb: I've got to get me some of that Vicodin! Sounds like a keeper! Miss Holly is a cutie-pa-tutie!
Well, I'm gonna go see whats on HGTV. I want to get to bed early...I plan on walking tomorrow morning...since I didn't get to go for a power walk tonight. My poor feet have never been so sore in all my life...they have been aching for two days...it's hard to walk...nevermind getting on the Nordictrack. But I will be tough and get thru it!
Have a great evening, Ladies!
