Hello everyone,
Was having some major internet connection problems yesterday. I'd almost complete a post and the connection failed. I hate it when that happens.
Hoping that tne a/c at work is working properly.
I felt sorry for our entertainer for our Happy hr yesterday. He was majorly breaking a sweat.
I got a pedometer off of ebay this week. I hope I'll get it soon. It will be interesting to find out how much I actually walk at work.
Now onto replies and such
Bluff- my residents love to pray for people that need it. We have a wonderful lay person that comes in every week to run the rosary group.
Cat- Congratulations again on making LIFETIME!!!
Barb- Hope Holly's recital goes well. Have fun.
WallyJoe- Congratulations on your new job. Hope that Hubby's strike gets over soon. And happy belated B'day to Colton(love that name)
Fritter- welcome aboard.
Lina/Shannon- hope vacation goes well for you both.
Gina- sorry to hear about the new guy,I've encountered people like that too.
Jen- hope you get the raise that you deserve.
June- I'm glad that you got thru your 1st wk back to work. What do you do?
I have a feeling Kaleb sensed something was different about routine. That's probably why he was up. It might have threw him off.
Sumari- In response to your mascara question. I've always used Cover Girl Professional with the curved wand. My mom swears by Maybelline.
Annie- good luck and be careful with the rollerblades.
Think that's it for now. Soon off to work for me.
Take care everyone and have a great weekend.

Good morning and Happy Saturday everyone,
I'm hustling to get to the clinic. First patient is at 7:15, but hopefully I'll be out of there be 1:00. Need to spend some time with DH this weekend. I feel like we're ships passing in the night lately. Plus, we were supposed to celebrate my last case report passing this weekend, but I have the feeling he's forgotten  . Oh well, he's got a lot on his plate right now.
Lizzy - hope the AC is fixed today and that all the residents are happy!
Barb - hope the recital goes well. Can't wait to see pics!
Bluff - Any big plans for the weekend? Are Jake's incisions all healed up now? I'm glad Taylor liked Bubba's pictures. He's a ham. Too cute that she think he and Trixie are in the same family. Bubba would love Trixie. She'd be about the size of some of his squeaky toys smile.gif
Gina - have a great weekend!
Gotta scoot! Be back later at some point,

Good Morning everyone.
I definately got up earlier than I would have liked to. The boys would not go to sleep last night for anything. I am not sure if it was sleeping somewhere other than their beds, or what, but they just would not settle down. Then this morning they were up at 5:30. I tried to ignore it for a couple of minutes but then they started to get louder and I didn't want them to wake up Jamie or Garrett, so up got Grandma Jen.
Now that everyone is up, I am going to make breakfast in a few minutes.
Lizzy- I hope you connection holds today. I hate when that stuff happens. As for A/C, it is supposed to be 87 here today, so I will definately have mine on. Hope you have a great day.
LoriT- Here's to you just doing routine checkups today on mild mannered puppies and kitties. I hope you get that much needed quality time with DH.
Jules and Jodi- Happy WI today!!! Skinny Vibes to you both!
Chris- Where are you?????????????? If you read this, skinny vibes to you today too!
OK everyone, I have to go start breakfast.
Have a great OP day, I'll be back later.

Thanks for the skinny vibes there Jen, but this BCBer isn't weighing in today. I just can't bear to have that number recorded in my book.
I'm sure you guys are sick of listening to me by now, which is why I haven't been posting much. I am miserable, as my weight is ticking up. I know the BCB way is never off program, I've just been out of control. I think I'm up about 5 lbs, but I won't know until TOM is over and I can get a real read next week.
Now... as I have been wracking my brain (up at 7:30AM on Saturday, can you tell it's bothering me?), I'm sure you are wondering too "Why would she throw it away after working so hard?" I've been asking myself the same question in order to come to a conclusion, put it behind me.
I think at first, I just exhaled and let myself live a little after the Bahamas trip. Understandable. I just haven't been able to reel in since then. So as Dr. Phil would say, "What's eating me." Here's today's conclusion (maybe putting it down will help):
I think I am sabotaging myself because I know that once I get to goal, I'm supposed to start trying to get pregnant.
OK there I said it. For those of you who don't know, I am terrified of having children -- not the 9 months or one day -- it's the 30+ years of responsibility for someone else is what gets my panties in a bunch.
I've been here before... within a few lbs of goal and then sabotage my way out of it. I spend a year (2002) floundering in the high 150s to 160s after surgery had brought my weight down into the 140s. I see myself following the same pattern and trying very hard to stop now.
As of last week, it looked like I was breaking even for the summer, which would be OK with me at this point. But now it looks like it'll be more than "breaking even" which is what is making me crazy.
I don't want to keep coming here and venting like this, esp. when I'm not living the life and really have no reason to complain (I am a believer in being responsible for your actions, so I'm not looking for sympathy.) Anyway, I'm away for business on Monday - Wednesday of this coming week. The break from BCB will be good, so you guys don't have to keep reading my pity-based diatribes. I'll be online in the evenings, but not days because I'll be in a training course.
I am planning ahead as far as food choices. I'm gonna make sure to pack a few staples to keep me on track while away (applesauce cups, 2 pt bars etc...) I refuse to throw it away any further because of this trip. I will be away with two other women who know I'm OP, so that helps a bit I guess.
Enough babbling. See what happens when I get up too early?
I hope everyone has a nice OP day. I'm gonna try to also. graemlins/wave.gif

Good morning everyone! I was up way to early this morning for a Sat. There was this little birdie chirping very loudly out my bedroom window and woke me up at 4:30am. Where is the cat when you need her eh? Just kidding! The movie was great yesterday. Colton really enjoyed it, even DH was laughing at it. On the way home DH got a speeding ticket and poor Colton had to go pee so bad and it was taking th cop soooo long to write up the ticket and then explaining it to us. Oh well it could of been worse I had the wrong regisration in the car. Mine had expired
I do have insurance but I had the wrong card in the car, so he let us go with a warning on that. Then after supper we had the kids from across the street and a couple of good friends of mine and DH come over for cake and open presents. The little boy that was here broke both gifts that he had brought for Colton too. Something gets broken everytime he is here. Anyways enough blabbing and onto hellos.
Lizzy - Thanks, I am very nervous about the new job but it is a relief to be getting a paycheck again.
Lori T - Have a good morning at work. I hope you and DH get to spend some time together this weekend.
Jen - Have fun iwth your grandboys today. How old are they again?
Jules - I'm sorry that you are struggling with your weight issues. It is true that alot of it isn't that you want to be over wieght we do eat because of other issues that need o be dealt with in our lives and eating is just an easy out. Or so we think. We are here for you buddie!
Well I guess I should tootle and maybe gets something done before everyone wakes up, or maybe I will just sit and relax and enjoy my coffee in the quiet. ;)
Jo

Good morning all
A very quick hello. DH & Taylor are at the playground. I really need to get my floor mopped, so on to replies....
Lori- Jake is looking good! He has quite the scars though they're healing well. His buddy Wilson (my parents' springer mix) will soon be here to shake things up  No big plans for us although I'm trying to convince Doug we need a family day out. Enjoy some down time w/ Jim.
Jules- I feel for you Buddy! I truly believe I have sabotaged myself before so I understand what you mean. Hang tight Sweetie & keep us posted on how you're feeling
Lizzy- Happy Saturday!
Barb- Wish the lil' ballerina well for me! I'm anxiously awaiting new pics smile.gif
Jo- Glad Colton had a fun day! Too bad about the ticket & the broken toys though.

Hi gang wishing everyone a great Saturday! I will be taking my parents around today. They are thinking of buying a house here for when they come to visit. They love it because the real estate here is cheap compared to California. Boy was I thrilled I WI and stayed the same. I was worried after my trip home last week. Now if I can stay the same when I am in New Orleans that will be a miracle. However, I decided I will walk in the french quarter every morning so hopefully that will help.
Lori T; Have a good day
Bluff, Jo, Barb, and Jen:Have a good one
Lizzy: I hope the ac works today! Thanks for the mascara tip
Jules: I bet it won't be as bad as you think when you WI!

Happy Saturday Buddies...
I'm in lazy mode today. I just didn't want to get up & then once I did, I didn't want to do anything graemlins/ugh.gif . But I do have to get my butt in gear... I have a meeting to get to, a truck that needs to make it to the car wash & few other errands to run. Oh joy tongue.gif
I went to the dentist yesterday b/c my mouth has been bothering me. Apparently I must of had a cut in my gum & when I was sick a few weeks ago, it got infected graemlins/ugh.gif . He gave me stuff to put on it & also did a regular cleaning. Now I have to go back to get 1 of my wisdom teeth taken out (yup, still have 2 of them). Can't wait... Woo freakin Hoo.
Onto hello's:
Lizzy - I hated when my dial-up would cut out. Since I got a cable modem, I haven't had any problems.
Lori T - Hope you & DH get to spend some quality time together. John & I get that way during the week so come Sunday, it's our day.
Jen - Hey Granny... hehe. You're going to get in your AP's this weekend. Hope you have a good day. Thanks for the skinny vibes.
Jules - (((HUGS))). Sorry I couldn't make your meeting today (see above). I'm sorry that you're struggling. Hang in there buddy.
Jo - graemlins/wave.gif
Barb - Have a fun day today!
Bluff - Hopefully you will get some family time in this weekend. Have a nice day!

Happy Saturday morning, Ladies!
Quiet day here,so far. I was up early, had a 40 minute walk, and came home to pick berries for 45 minutes...I am stiff already from the reaching. Then DS and his buddy needed an adult to take them around the neighbourhood on bike, so guess who was volunteered?! It's not even noon, and I'm pooped!
Not too much going on here today...picking up more wood to finish the playfort.
Jules: (((((Hang in there, BUDDY!))))
Okay, I must carry on...I'll try to check in later!

Hi everyone.
Just taking a break after feeding everyone lunch. Grilled cheese, watermelon and a cookie for the troops and Turkey on Lite Wheat, watermelon and a salad with balsamic vinegar for me.
This has definately been a trying day for both Jamie and myself with the boys. Not to get into details, but I really think that the younger one needs more help than he is currently getting with his autism, possibly even medication. I definately not an expert, but just to see how he is acting, and how out of control he gets, I just can't understand it. I've never had any other experience dealing with anyone with autism, but I would think that they would at least be taught SOME basic life skills (putting on their clothes, wiping their hands, etc.) they have none of these skills. It is really heartbreaking. Unfortunately due to this, I now have Garrett talking baby talk and acting up, because monkey see, monkey do. I am not too thrilled with that.
Hopefully the day will get a bit better. We are watching a movie now, we were around the corner at the park for a while earlier.
Jules- Massive (((((HUGS)))))) to you!!! I am glad that you are sharing whats bugging you. I think that the closer to goal we get, or even after we hit goal, we do let things get to us or even test the waters one way or another. Your example as to why sure is a stresser! I think you are such an intelligent woman and would make a wonderful mom. You have a great husband who loves you very much and I am quite sure would give just as much love and support to a child. That is the thing you have to focus on, your love for each other and any little one that comes along. I thought I was a bit selfish myself before I had Jessica, but that part really goes away once you have yourself extended-that extension is your child. I can't even imagine my life without either of my kids now. It definately is hard work, and I won't lie when I tell you that there are days that they do something that just infuriates me. But then you look at them smile or sleep and you just realize that it is soooo worth the struggles. Feel better. Also, read what I wrote to Jodi!
Jo- Glad to hear that Colton had a good time! Something broken everytime the boy is over? He just sounds careless. Once or twice is one thing. BTW The boys are 7 & 8.
Barb- What did you get so good at the market?
Lori- I hope you get that down time with Jim. I could use some with Bill, but thats a story for another day. As for Grandma Jen- Bill, His Daughter Hope, and her BF Dwayne have the kids calling me that. Of all the names they don't remember, that is one that they do! It certainly is not too funny sometimes, considering I am only 32!!! When Bill starts that crap with me, I remind him ever so politely that he is old enough to be my dad! :D (he's 52)
Sumari- I hope you enjoy yourself with your parents. How often do your parents visit you?
Jodi- Ouch with the infection in your mouth! I had all of my wisdom teeth yanked about 10 years ago. 2 one week and the others 2 weeks later. It wasn't too bad.....the vicodin helped! I still can't wait to see you next weekend! Oh, Is that clam bar (I think B&R or something like that) still on Montauk? I think it's more in Copiague than Lindenhurst. They have a fish market attached to it. I always loved their baked clams!! Nice and garlicky!!!!!!!! I have also decided as much as I think the kids need to have at least a day of All American, there is no way I can be tempted like that!!!!!! LOL
OK, time to go refill my water.
See you all later.

Hi Ladies,
Busy day already and I'm reallly pushing myself this weekend so far! I have been in pain for two days, doctor said this would come and go and I'm just trying to work through it..anotherwards excersise and then rest! I'm about to hit the rest phase smile.gif
I went to the gym, got a great workout it. My sister arrived from Boston with her DH, picked up Cory and they are in Philadelphia right now visiting my Aunt. I wasn't allowed to make the car ride and I'm glad, I am not up to sitting in a car with a collar on for an hour and half each way (I have to wear the collar when I drive with other people).
I'm going to go say hello's and then hit my bed at a run, I'm pooped out and I need to take advantage of not having Cory. Yesterday sucked, I tried to get someone to take him from me for a few hours, I was in so much agony and no one could. I survived but its hard sometimes being here without family!
Lizzy - Have a great day at work. Enjoy the perdometer, they are fun!
Lori T - Have a good time celebrating with DH. Do everything I "can't" do right now :D , Hugs honey and congrats on that last case report!
Jen - I got your email. OY VEY!! ((((HUGS))))) I hope the day is an easier one!
Jules - BREATHE. Your not alone, most of us have been there and I for one am NOT sick of hearing you talk about whats going on with your program. This is a support group afterall. It's possible you are sabotaging your pregnancy efforts but its also possible that (THIS IS FOR ALL OF US) your food addiction is kicking in. I know for me food is an addiction and like any drug addict, one is too many and a thousand never enough. Maybe your enjoyment in the Bahamas kickstarted the addiction beast. So with that said, take a step back and try to focus on how darned good you felt while staying OP and strive to feel good again. The rest will follow. Tell that food monster to go F*** him or herself. Sorry if thats too vulgar for anyone, I'm trying to help my buddy here! I'm sending you a hug and if you need anything give me a shout. (((((HUGS)))))))
J0 - Glad you all had fun yesterday. I can't wait to be able to take Cory to the movies again. I can't sit for that long lol. Hugs honey
Barb - Enjoy the ballerina in your life today, have fun!! Mom's are always more excited, Just my opinion LOL.
Lori Bluff - I wish I could play with you guys lol...hugs honey. Have a great day with the girls and DH!
Sumari - Have fun honey with your parents, enjoy every moment. That would be awesome for them to live near you, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you smile.gif
Jodi - Woo freakin hoo, how about pass me the "gas". Yuck, good luck with the wisdom teeth sweetie and I miss you!
Annie - If you get any busier you can walk here to NJ to visit me. Enjoy your day sweetie!
Hi to all my other buddies, I'm off to nap!

Hi Ladies,
Nice to see everyone is having a busy Saturday! I had my nap which was very nice, then my son came home with my cousin in tow and I took us all to the diner for dinner. Very nice day and now I'm off to empty the dishwasher, get my gym stuff ready for tommorow and get my son to take his shower!
