Good morning Buddies,
You don’t know it but you helped me last night!
I got home a bit late, I had dinner (DH still at work) and after dinner my inner child woke up and demanded candy! She said that it wouldn’t hurt to have just a little bit and that I’ve been so good that I deserved candy.
Huh where did she come from??? I though I had her silenced.
But before I knew it I was half way out the door with money in my hand and on a mission to buy candy……. when all of a sudden a thought popped into my head… I can’t let my new Buddies down the first day!
I’m supposed to go to Denmark and journal every BLT and make you all proud.. so it would be really stupid to fail before I even get to the real challenge. So I turned around, open the computer and went here to read on Fantastic 30 and POOF she was gone and so was all the silly argument! I do not need candy and the best reward for me being good is to stay good!
I was so relived and in that moment I knew that I’m strong enough to handle this weekend.
I will be back Monday morning to let you all know about my weekend. Take care everyone and have a fantastic OP weekend.
Hugs,
-Lina
Bluffview: Thanks for keeping us updated on Taylor. I thought about you two yesterday and I will keep you in my thoughts
Kumitelady: A black belt! That is so cool! Let us know when you will try out for it!
Ltdermdvm: I looked at all your doggie pictures, I love them. Your dogs are so cute. I’m a big dog lover myself and I used to have dogs before I went off to University and since then I haven’t had the time nor a place to have dog. First thing I’ll get when we have a house is a dog. I also trained Agility with my dogs (a Rottweiler, an Old English Sheepdog and last but not least a Bullterrier) and I love that. So much fun as well as great exercise.
stamps1: I’m very glad to have found this great bunch
ChrisGard: Welcome back from your vacation. Did you have fun?
Lemondrop: Congratulations to your babies! My brother have twins so I know it is lots of work but also double the fun! smile.gif
Yogi: The Netherlands is beautiful! How come you lived there? I would love to see more of the US… Just been to San Francisco (two weeks) and Miami (one day!)
Dvnmama: I hope that you are feeling better today and that that nasty virus is gone.
Beeb: Saw your pictures and I just have to say that your girls are adorable! I can see where they get it from though… you are beautiful!
WallyJo: I’m keeping my fingers crossed that your interviews went well!
annie mae: I’m prepared to agree with you that this is the best bunch around smile.gif
JilliAgain: I don’t know what operation you went though but I’m glad you’re feeling better. I had a major surgery too end of March and I’m just getting back to exercising too. Feels great!
Mzlizzy: That is so cool, was your aunt Swedish? Swedish word of today is:
Hej (Hello; pronounced [Hey]) and
Hej Då (good bye; [Hey doh]) :D
junebug7196: More twins! I agree that it is double the joy! smile.gif
jkj1027:I don’t know much about the Norwegian dress so I can’t say weather it is similar or not smile.gif The dress I have is not specifically a wedding dress it’s more like a festivity dress that can be used for many occasions. My grandmother made one for every woman in our family.

Good Morning Everyone.
I forced Bill to get me up early today. He didn't get me up early enough to exercise, but at least I am up. I have to go to work early today since I have to leave at 4:30. I have to pick up Bill's 2 grandsons since his daughter is going to the karate banquet with Bill this weekend and I am wathcing her kids. It is going to be quite a challenge since these are the 2 that are autistic. I have Teenage Babysitter Jamie coming over to help, but it'll still be a challenge.
As for work, The other lady and I bitched to the newly promoted manager that we are doing a ton more work and want a raise. He agreed whole heartedly (Since we always help him with stuff, even previous to his promotion) and has approached the owner with this. He said that we should know something by next week. We already agreed that if we do not get a raise, we are not going to continue to do the amount of work we are doing. So basically the accounting dept would come to a big stand still.
Lori(Bluff)- I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for Taylor. I hope she is feeling well. You are such a strong woman, I hope you can continue to feel that way for just a little while longer.
Chris2- I saw your post last night. Hooray for Noah and Jess. She was so happy when Bill gave her the belt. She did take the 2 national titles that we thought she would. She is also nominated for Competitor of the year in her age group. I don't think she will win it, only because of the amount of Black Belts in Ohio (Only Black Belts vote) and one of the other kids being nominated is in Ohio.
Lina- I saw your pics last night and loved them! It was so great of you to share them. Not to sound dumb but, what is the time difference between Sweden and The USA East Coast? Don't deprive yourself of candy, if that is something that you want. Just make sure that you only have enough of it to act as your serving size and you journal it into your day. That is the beauty of WW, you don't have to deprive yourself of anything!
OK time to get ready for work.
Have a great OP day everyone!
Jen

Kumitelady: No question is dumb... is that where the case I would be the queen of dumb LOL smile.gif
The time difference between Sweden and New York is 6 hours and between San Francisco and Sweden 9 hours smile.gif So now it is 12:20 pm here.
Yeah I love this program because of the liberty.... there are no forbidden food but since I have a problem with bingeing esp. candy I have to be on the alert. If I let myself binge it could get ugly
I do plan for candy but usually on Saturday and also in company of my DH. It is the behavior I'm trying to get rid of not really the actual candy. I used to binge eat candy several times a week and the fact that I still have those thoughts freaks me out.
But you are totally right about not depriving myself, if I plan for the goodies the bingeing urges are much easier to control because I can tell myself that I will get candy but just not at this moment.

Linda: Congrats on not buying the candy!
Jen: Thats great you are going to get a raise!

Good Morning Buddies smile.gif
First things first, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your concern, prayers & love. You are truly the best! The sense of community that we have here just cannot be explained or appreciated by those who haven't experienced it before. The friendship here is a true blessing for sure. Thank you so much for your support.
Taylor is feeling fine. She's busily playing & her normal hyper self. I'm trying to keep very positive thoughts & keep the worrying to a minimum. My DH is pretty freaked out. Last night he said, "what if..." I told him I won't go there unless I have to. Life is full of too many "what ifs" that never come to be. My mom is finally calmed down now too. My parents will be coming next weekend which will be great.
I had my a.m. walk & watered my flowers. It's going to get hot here today, so I'm making our supper this a.m. & microwaving it later so I don't have to have the oven on later. We're off to the library & the park this a.m. I'll get back later for replies. Have wonderful OP days all

TGIF! Another short note from me today. Yesterday afternoon at work was CRAZY graemlins/crazy.gif ! I left there with a huge pile on my desk and to top it off, I have an 8:30 appointment this morning so I need to get there early and get my desk cleaned off.
Ohh, and to really top it off, my boss left yesterday for a 3 week vacation! graemlins/ugh.gif So it's just me and the new guy. The new guy who keeps answering peoples questions when he doesn't know the answers. He thinks he knows the answers, but most issues in insurance can go a million directions. So he thinks if he has answered a similar question before then he knows how to answer it again - doesn't work that way. I have told him 4 times in the past month that if anyone asks a coverage question, to put them on hold and confirm the answer with me or the boss - yet he continues to think he knows it all after 1 month!
WHOA! Sorry buddies, I guess I just needed to get that out of my system.
Thanks for listening ;)
Gina
LINA: WOO HOO For you buddy!!! I am so proud of you for not going to get the candy graemlins/bcbsalute.gif
JEN: Yeah! good job in asking for the raise!
SUMARI: I have tried all different mascarras and always go back to the cheap Cover Girl Marathon mascarra. i love the stuff!
LORI T: Have a great day!
BARB:  WHOA I was suprised to see you here so early! Breakfast sounds like so much fun. Have a great day.

I had a whole post I just lost. THAT NEVER HAPPENS TO ME. I always copy to clipboard before I hit Add Reply. I spaced today. Dammit.
Well, in a nutshell, it was a very nice post about how much I appreciate this DAILY support. It was really mushy, but I'm too mad to recreate.
Much love to all.

good morning,
My first week of work is OVER. Yeahhh!!! I made it bearly.lol This week has been kind of a killer. Kaleb has not slept thru the night this whole week. :( He was doing so good what happened???? I think he sensed that something was not right. I hope next week goes by better. Last night he only got up once. So that was good but the last 3 nights he has got up 3-4 times  . I hope he goes back to sleeping thru the night quick. Natalie she could sleep if there was a tornato outside her window.lol She sleeps like a rock, thank goodness . I dont know what I would do if I had to get up with two kids all night. graemlins/crazy.gif
BF has been doing great with them in the evenings. He has kept the same routine down bath, bottle and then bed. I feel kind of bad because he has been working a lot of overtime and not getting a lot of sleep. At least I can take naps during the day when the kids go down. He is so good with the babies.
I better go and try to get some more graemlins/sleep.gif before my kiddies wake up.
I hope everyone has a great day.
JUNE ;)

TGIF. This feels like it's been the longest week and I've only been here 3 1/2 days. I'm finally feeling normal today, trying not to eat everything that isn't nailed down, but I'm ravenous from not having eaten much over the past few days.
Found myself sitting up last night reading fitness magazines after ds and dh went to bed last night, and I decided that I've got to stop messing around with the plan. I get so psyched about the low carb thing when I hear people do it, and they look great, and they say they feel great, and then I try it, and I'm miserable and that leads to bad choices. Low carb for me takes more planning that just doing straight WW. So, I'm going back to my roots, to what I know works-mostly whole grains in terms of carbs, but plenty of veggies and protein, and a variety of food. No offense to the low-carbers, it works for some people, and makes others miserable. I may do the Wendie Plan for a few weeks, see if I can give myself a jumpstart again, been sitting at the same weight since like April, up a pound, down a pound. Lost some inches, but not enough to make me wiggle with joy.
It's taken me a few months to realize that even though I thought I was away from that mentality, I'm still looking for the magic pill in one form or other.
Have a great day everyone!
~Sue
Back one more time while I slap on some makeup! don't want to scare anyone!! graemlins/wave.gif
Jules~ We appreciate your mushyness!!! have a great day buddy!!
gina~ Good luck to you on the next 3 weeks! yipes!!
Bluff~ We need to get back to storytime too! I just keep forgetting to go!! Have fun! DH watered my oasis last night so it would look nice for the party saturday!!
June~ glad this week is over for you!! Maybe he did sense something was off?! Here's to a better week! graemlins/thumbup.gif I'm still amazed they sleep so well! I don't know what I did wrong with my gals!!
Ok I'm off ! Be back later gators!!'

Goodmorning Friends! graemlins/wave.gif
I JUST LOST MY POST WITH REPLIES AND ALL, GGRRRRRR!
I actually was up early enough for replies this morning.
Things are well but busy. Last day of CCD and then to the pool with the kiddos. We got a new puppy two days ago and I feel like we have a newborn child, a little sleep deprived. A breeder wanted to trade her for one of DH's sculptures, I was all for that! (DH was too :D )
Bluff- Keep your spirits up, you are in my prayers!
I will be handing over my reign on Sunday, I fugure that gives Saturday for coffee to come in. JO , I got your PM and will count you in, I am off to PM you now.
Have a great day buddies!

Good morning everyone! Today is my babies 6th birhtday. We are going to go to Saving Nemo as a family and then have cake after dinner. He has one little friend that might beable to make it or might not. My interview went ok yesterday. I am a little leary of the job though so I am not sure if I want to take it. I also got a call for another interview somewhere else on Mon. So it looks like things are happening around here.
Lina - Good for you on turning away from the candy but I think you should let yourself indulge a lttile bit now and then otherwise you end up binging on it. At least that is what I do.
Jen - Goodluck with the raise. I hope they make it worth your while.
Sumari - Have a great time with your paretns. How long are they staying for?
Lori T- Your pics are so cute. Have a great day.
Barb - Jade is going into grade six this year too. Is Chynna nervous about it? Jade is a little because it will be her last year at that school. Grade 7 she will switch schools and wont be with most of her friends if any.
Lori - I am glad that Taylor is feeling fine. That must make things a little easer for you adults. Keep us posted.
Gina - I hope you have a good day today. That must be frustrating to have someone new who thinks he knows every thing. I'm the opposite with a new job, I ask lots of questions to make sure I am doing it right.
Jules - Have a great day.
June - I am glad you made it through your first week. Are you enjoying your job? It might be the weather with Kaleb not sleeping through the night as well. Is it hot there?
Sue - I think alot of us still in the back of our minds are looking for that magic pill. Just keep your chin up and get back on the wagon. We are here for you.
Teena - Great that you got my PM, thanks for replying and sorry its so late. What kind of puppy did you get. I still miss my Rocky to much to get a new dog. But I do still look at them on the humane sites.
Well I am off to buy Colton a basketball net for his birhtday and then I am canning some apricots that I got while on vacation. Will check in later.

Morning everyone! graemlins/wave.gif
Thanks so much for all of your kind words, emails and PMs about Pekoe the last couple of days. They were very comforting. I'm starting to feel better about it, the other night I had a huuuuge cry and that helped a lot and then lastnight I actually had a good sleep so I think I'm starting to come back to the land of the living. I'll always miss him but I figure that my sadness for him will work itself out in time whether I obsess about it or I try to keep a good attitude, so I'm opting for b).
I got up early this morning to see Travis off on his annual backcountry camping weekend with his best friend. Boy was that funny; he came back upstairs twice because he had forgotten little things, like their lunch food for tomorrow lol. I'm heading off to see my grandparents after lunch. I'll be back tomorrow though - and I'll probably come and post since I'll be on my own! lol It'll be Rosie's (our other cat) first time in the house alone for a night, ever. She's always had Pekoe with her. She seems to be doing ok though so I bet she'll have fun getting into all kinds of things she's not supposed to. ;)
Well I'd better get to replies since I still have to hop in the shower; I went back to bed after Travis left so I actually ended up sleeping in and now I'm going to have to rush a bit! I'm taping Shania Twain's "Up" CD for the car, it's a good cheery album. smile.gif
Lina ~ I haven't had a chance to say hello to you yet - welcome! graemlins/wave.gif I used to have a pen pal in Sjalevad, up north from you. I'd love to visit Sweden one day, it's such a beautiful looking country! Congrats on your great success with the candy lastnight!!
Jen ~ Good luck with the raise - you definitely do deserve it!!
Sumari ~ Have a great weekend with your parents!
Lori T ~ I hope your day goes well - TGIF! I think of you every time we go to the vet now lol. I sent a thank-you card over to the vet that was with us when Pekoe died, she's such an awesome, awesome, compassionate, special vet.
Barb ~ I think that's so cool about your breakfast! I hope you had/are having a great time!
Bluffview Lori ~ I'm adding my prayers and positive thoughts to the BCB vibe! *hug* You've got a good attitude, hang in there.
Gina ~ graemlins/wave.gif I hope you can do something about that new guy!
Jules ~ Thanks for the reminder to copy to clipboard before I post this!! Have a great Friday.
June ~ Good luck for a good sleeping weekend with Kaleb!
Sue ~ I hear you on the low-carb thing; it wouldn't work for me either. Thank goodness we have WW!
Teena ~ A new puppy! Wow! Tell us the details!
Jo ~ Happy Birthday to Colton! Sounds like you have a great day planned for him.
*whew* I've gotta get moving! That took forever! Have great OP days everyone and hello to anyone I missed!

Good Friday morning, Ladies!
Our friendly neighbourhood wake up call was on duty this morning (so much for sleeping in, again graemlins/ugh.gif ). I got into this show on the National Geographic channel last night, and it finished at midnight. So, I'm feeling a little sluggish today.
I don't know if I mentioned that on Wed. night DH and I took the kids to the paved path along the river to rollerblake and scooter. I walked. When we got home I mentioned to DH that I'd like to try my hand at rollerblading, but only if I could find a cheap pair at a yard sale or something. Well, yesterday (on a Thursday...how bizarre is that), I happened upon a yardsale...with a pair of rollerblades, just my size. As a firm believer in fate and Karma, I snatched them up. I tried them out in the house (shhhuuussshhhh, don't tell DH...he'll freak that I was on the hardwood with blades LOL). I will give them a go some evening when no one is watching me.
Took the kids to see Sinbad yesterday afternoon...WOW. I normally don't enjoy that kind of movie, but I was very impressed. I guess I'll be hitting the theatres again soon, Spy Kids 3 is being released today. DS is dying to see that one.
Not too much going on today, middle DD is at a sleepover, and won't be back until after lunch. I'm trying to motivate myself to go get on the nordictrack...not really feeling like it right now.
Lina: WTG on the willpower!!! Have a GREAT weekend!
Jen: I hope you have a great evening! Keep pushing for that raise!!
Sumari: Have a great weekend with your parents!
As for mascara, I usually use the clear mascara from Max Factor. I have hair and eyelashes black as coal, and I find that the tinted mascaras are TOO dark for my eyes, but the clear gives them just a little shimmer, and keeps them looking long and tidy.
LoriT: Have a great weekend (BTY...I love the pics of your deck...similar to what we are doing on the back of our house, without the screenings.)
Barb: Sounds like a busy, fun morning you have planned!
Lori: A good thing to be said, that she seems to be feeling fine and plays like usual. Keeping my fingers crossed. Have a great weekend! Take care of you!
Gina: Vent away!!! Hope today goes more smoothly for you!
Jules: graemlins/wave.gif
June: At least one is still sleeping the night thru. I have to say that none of my kids slept thru the night until they were over 2 and a 1/2...that's about 8 years of sleepless nights. I take my sleep very seriously :D .
Sue: I wish there was a magic pill to take...oh well, until then there's always WW, and BCB! I have to admit, I sometimes think if I play with the system, it will work faster, better etc. I guess it just boils down to OMOHOD! Keep up the great work!
Teena: Good luck with the puppy...what kind of dog is he?
Well, I better go do something here!
I'll check in later!

Hello everyone,
just a quick note from me so far
The a/c is out today. So it's going to get very hot.
Bluff- just to let you know that our residents had their weekly rosary group. I had them say a prayer for Taylor's good health.
Lina- Thanks for the vocabulary lesson.
My great grandparents came from Sweden. My aunt was the oldest, so she was able to learn some phrases from them.
TO the rest of everybody have a great day.
Will be back later. very busy at the moment.

Hi Buddies!
I've been lurking on the daily trying to keep up with you all but haven't been posting. I find that I tend to get really carried away and next thing you know 2 hours have passed! I know, it's better than eating smile.gif . I've got these nagging painting projects which absolutely MUST get done by this weekend. I don't want to look at them anymore!
Just quickly wanted to say, I made lifetime today! :D I was happy! I'll be even happier when I hit my personal goal which is just around the corner. I know I'll be there by the end of the Labor Day challenge.
Well, hugs to you all. I'll be responding to some PMs later today. Just some very quick hellos for now:
Lina - So proud of you for taking control!
Jen - Sounds like it will be an action packed weekend with all the kids. Hope the raise pulls through.
Sumari - Are you enjoying the Pan de sal? You are so lucky. My brother and his DF just bought a house in Cerritos.
Lori - Hi, buddy! My DH has to work tomorrow, too! So I'm feelin' for you!
Barb - That's so great to be involved with your daughter's teachers. Luncheon is such a nice idea.
Lori - Thanks for your note smile.gif Enjoy the library with Taylor and Erica.
Gina - Aaaaack about the new guy! UGH... that IS frustrating.
Jules - Hiya! Glad things are looking up graemlins/thumbup.gif
June - Congrats on surviving the first week back. I hear that going back to work is VERY hard.
Sue - Everybody's different, and it's great that you're realizing what works. I do try to make better carb choices, but not purely low-carb. I love my carbs too much. I figured, I'm loosing the WW way, and the reason I'm so successful is that nothing is limited.
Teena - Have fun with your new puppy!
Jo - Enjoy your little one's b-day!
Sarah - So sorry to hear about your little Pekoe :(
Annie - That's so cool about the blades! You tell the universe what you want and it will give it to you! Happy Blading!
Shannon - Is Teddy a member of the family now?
Jilli - Hi! Got your PM. I'll be writin' ya later graemlins/kiss.gif

Lizzy - We musta been posting at the same time. Just wanted to say, keep cool, and I've been thinking about you everytime I make that chocolate pumpkin oatmeal which I have had now for three days in a row!
CAT!!!!!! WOO HOO!! Congrats on making lifetime. OMG - I love pumpkin/choc oatmeal. I haven't been making it as much because it's been so hot here, but come fall it will be my regular breakfast again :D
BLUFF: Prayers to you. Remember not to assume the worst. It could be a number of things. ((HUGS))
Thanks buddies for the sympathy with me and the new guy. I had a talk with him AGAIN this morning. We will see how that goes.
I got my picture trail account back up and running, so I'll get vacation photos on there soon.

Oops, forgot to tell you all, I saw my doctor last night (surgeon), got a thumbs up with all but one thing...hold on to your pants. He said I'm losing too much weight LOL. I swear in my life I never thought I would hear that. I truly have many more pounds to go but with his heavy European accent it came out sounding that way. What he meantis he's concerned I"m losing too quickly and that I might lose some healthy muscle. So smart alec me took off my shirt and told him to go ahead and cop a feel.! He was impressed smile.gif
I have to go for some xrays this coming week to see how the fusion is coming along, other than that I don't see him until the middle of September. I have 9 more weeks of PT to go...hopefully!
Okay I'm really off to hit the couch now. I hope you are all doing okay, Hugs again, Jilli

Sumari-my SIL gave me a mascara called Kiss My Face. it's the coolest thing. it's waterproof and doesn't smudge. when you remove it it peels off like rubber! i'll find out where she gets it. i've never seen it in a store, she hust sends it to me.
Sue- i'm with you! have been doing the same. have done low-carb and no-carb but never for long. let me know if the Wendi plan works for you.
well, that's all for now. i should be out picking weeds as the lawn is about 2 feet tall...I AM NOT KIDDING! it's just about 1000 degrees and i KNOW there are snakes lurking in that lawn. well, maybe laundry instead!
have a great OP day!

Happy Friday afternoon all graemlins/wave.gif !
I love reading all your posts. I feel like I found a new family. I'm at work, so I really shouldn't even be on the website, but can't concentrate today. My kids, who have been visiting my parents since Sunday, will be home when I get home from work. I can't wait to see them. They always visit my parents for one week every summer, but I miss them like crazy. I haven't talked to them all week, cuz I don't think it would be fair to them for me to go on about how much I miss them. I'll make sure they know that this evening. I did, however, receive and e-mail from my Mom on Tuesday. She said she needs to take out a loan to feed my kids! :D I have two boys, 8 and 5, and I know they eat a lot. My 5 year old eats more than my 8 year old! Unfortunately, they get their appetite from their Mother (me) graemlins/ugh.gif . Well, can't wait to get home and hug my boys! It's gonna be a great weekend graemlins/thumbup.gif ! Hope you all have a good one too.

Hi again...
Had a fun a.m. at the park & library. I need to get some menu planning done while the girls are napping. I'm making a Wal-Mart run tonight. We're almost out of diapers, so I don't have a choice
Lina- Welcome to the daily! Love you attitude Buddy. Maybe our Inner Brats could take a long trip together... Hope you have a great weekend. I'm going to check out those pics soon.
Jen- Hope you can get some rest this weekend. I know it'll be crazy with the extra kids, but thank goodness for Teenage Babysitter.
LoriT- Taylor has looked at the pics 10 times. Have a great evening.
Sue- how's Devon doing with his new school? Colleen posted a great excerpt from O magazine. I think I'm going to treat myself to the issue since it seems so inspirational.
June- congrats on the work week being over. Lullabyes for Kaleb ;) Maybe he's hit a growth spurt & is hungrier than normal. It'll pass I'm sure.
Gina- Ugh about the new guy. Hope he settles down & stops making things rough for you. Can't wait to see the vacation pics!
Lizzy- Reading about the rosary mtg made me weep. That means so much to me- thank you. I believe in the power of prayer. Please thank your dear residents for me. The image gives me chills Buddy smile.gif
Cat- WTG on your accomplishment!!!!!
Jilli- Your stats rock Dolly!!!! I'm so proud of you for sure. What's this flashing your toned self in the dr's office! Take a nap you're working too much.
Barb- When's Miss Holly's recital? Have a fantabulous time w/ the b-day! Taylor thinks Trixie is so cute- she thinks she's Bubba Jr's lil' sister LOL.
Fritter- Welcome!!!! Glad you decided to post w/ us!
Jules- Hope you're having a great day!
Jo- Happy B-day to Colton!!!!

First off Colton says thank you for all the birhtday wishes to him. He thinks its pretty funny. Second off I actually got the job that I had interviewed three times for. I start on Mon and get full benifits right off the bat. This could mean that we wont lose the house with DH still on strike its getting tuff. I won't be making nearly as much as he did but alot more then I was at my first job. I am both excited and nervous on if I can actually do it. I hope my Lupus doesnt' decided to show up for awhile.
Annie Good job on finding the rollerblades. I have always wanted to try but my doctor says no way.
Cat - A big congrats to you on making lifetime!!!
Well I had better get going, we are off the see Saving Nemo.

Hi guys,
Back from a very long day...make that week smile.gif
Barb - how was the breakfast this morning? I love Miss Trixie's picture. She's sooo cute. Did you ever go visit the chihuahua's that you heard they were trying to find homes for? How's Wendy doing?
Bluff - hey there. Are you doing ok? Glad your parents are coming for a visit to cheer you up!
Gina - 3 weeks! Yipes! and here I am whining about 1 week without the boss. That's rough about the new guy. On one hand you think, that's great that he wants to handle things on his own, but it's frustrating when he doesn't yet know his limits. I have a tech like that. Hang in there buddy.
Jules - hey buddy! How's your week been going? Are the renovations almost done?
June - glad your first week at work has gone well. I'm sure Kaleb will settle into the new routine soon. Get some rest!
Sue - the low carb, high protein thing doesn't work for me either. I guess that's why they call it the right mix huh? I really do try and eat more protein than I used to, but life without pasta isn't much fun smile.gif
Teena - hey coffee queen, how's it going? What kind of puppy did you get??? Pictures please!!!!
Jo - apricots sound wonderful! Have fun at the movies and hello to Indy dog!
Sarah - glad you're hangin in there. You've been in my thoughts for sure.
Annie - Hee Hee....I tried rollerblading...once! I do not have the coordination for it unfortunately. I fell on my arse right in front of a cop car, who of course stopped to make sure I was ok, so all the gawkers slowed down to look...pathetic I know. Glad you like the deck. We're really enjoying it this summer. It took alot out of us though, so we haven't had the umph to work on any of our other plans. I think we burned ourselves out.
Lizzy - hope the AC got fixed!
Cat - congrats! What an awesome accomplishment. What are you doing to celebrate?
Jilli - is the PT still a QT??? My house needs cleaning so bad. Glad you liked the "bubbalo" wings! You crack me up flashing the doc. Bet he was surprised and only to happy to "cop a feel!" graemlins/crazy.gif
Chris G - hope Noah feels better soon!
Fritter - welcome to the family!
Have a great evening guys!
Lori T
Hey gang!
Finally a chance to check in to see what everyone is up to!
We had a really nice breakfast this morning and then a zillion plus errands to run!Now I'm recleaning the house and then I'm going to fold some clothes!! Fun, fun, fun!!
LoriT~ Wendy is doing great. Her and her DH are in Maine right now. We'll be seeing each other next week, were heading on vacation to AZ on friday. Isn't Trixie the cutest!! Those chihuahuas are being held because of a court case and then I find out they don't want anyone to adopt them because they are too aggressive. It seems that the lady that had them, kept them in 2 rooms (150dogs!) and it was a fight for them so now they are not people friendly! Yipes!! don't want them to eat Trix!!
bluff~ I'm glad Taylor liked my fluffy dog! Holly's recital is tomorrow at 11:00! She's so excited! After that I'm having the fam over for lunch and cake! My sis-in-law is getting her a pinata! For just her and Chynna!! I guess we'll all take a whack at it too!! She's going to wear her recital necklace at her party!! I'll take oodles of pics!!
Fritter~ Glad to see you on the daily! graemlins/wave.gif
Jo~ No Chy isn't nervous about 6th grade. Our middle schools start at 5-8 so she went there last year. I was able to get her into a really good school and I'm even in the PTA this year! Yipes!!
Ok gang I don't have anymore time!!
I might be on tomorrow if not I'll be around to post the exercise roll call on Sunday!!
Toodles
