Im having a hard time w/water. Our water source is from the M.U.D. and doesnt taste good. someone tipped me on crystal light so I make that and then add 2x the water.

would this count? I hate lugging all those water bottles into the house.

So far 1 liter (33oz) of water and 0.5 liter (16oz) of diet coke. But it is already 5:30pm here so I better speed it up!

tiff~ What is MUD? It doesn't sound good so far!!! How 'bout some bottled water? Or we have a Brita Water filter that attaches to our faucet. It gets out all the yucky stuff!!

happy drinking today!!

I'm new at this site and apparently slow to start!! It's 11:30 am here and I have yet to have any water. I'll grab a bottle now and by the end of the day will drink at least 128 oz (I think that's a gallon!). I'm not sure what everyone else's standard daily intake is, but it's probably a lot higher! I'll report back in later!

Does anyone know if flavored sparkling water can be a substitute for water? This stuff I have is calorie free, sodium free, caffeine free --- the nutrition facts actually list 0's for everything, including calories, fat, sodium, carbs, sugar, protein. It sounds like carbonated water to me with just a little flavor and some chemicals added for preservation or whatever.
Thanks,
Leslie

Kinda slow for me today. It's 11am and I'm at 80oz. Been overdoing it on Diet Coke again. graemlins/ugh.gif
For those that ask, WW says "You can have 3 of your 6 glasses as juice, milk, decaffeinated beverages or any other beverage that does not contain alcohol. Just be sure to count the points."

Update
The entire quote from the week 1 book is:
"Any type of water - plain, sparkling, club soda, and unsweetened, flavored seltzer - counts. You can have 3 of your 6 glasses as juice, milk, decaffeinated beverages or any other beverage that does not contain alcohol. Just be sure to count the points."

Oh btw Ive had 1 glass of skim milk and 2 cups of coffee I better get on the ball its 11:30

Barb- M.U.D. is Municiple Utility District. Basically Our water is from the city's source and not from a well. It has cholrine and other stuff in it to try to keep it clean.

I might try brita again. I get tired of lugging the jugs of water home.

The crystal light is 5 calories per serving but in my case 2.5 because I dilute it twice. Not sure about the other stuff, Ill have to look.

I'm getting ready to go home and so far I've drank 68 oz. of water. I've got a lot to go tonight! What is a typical day? I think I'm WAY under the rest of you. Does drinking water way beyond the 6 glasses that are recommended help lose weight faster?
