Hey buddies -

I found this in my WW materials and I am sure I printed it from a post here on BCB, but I have no idea who to give credit too. Anyway I read it last night and boy did it change my attitude. Since a few of us are struggling right now I though it would be appropriate.

We all make mistakes; YOU have the choice...
YOU can choose to QUIT
or YOU can decide to LEARN from your mistakes.
We all struggle; YOU have the power...
YOU can COMPLAIN and make EXCUSES
or YOU can embrace it as a CHALLENGE.
We all suffer from stress; YOU have a decision...
YOU can allow yourself to LOSE CONTROL
or YOU can choose to STAY IN CONTROL.
We all have bad days; YOU are the boss of your destiny...
YOU can allow yourself to focus on the NEGATIVE,
or YOU can instead find the POSITIVE.
We all have attitudes; YOU choose which you wear...
YOU can choose to dress yourself in DOUBT,
or YOU can cloak yourself in CONFIDENCE!!

Hope this helps in some way.

Thanks Shannon - that is sooo wonderful!

Taking responsibility for yourself is the key. If you don't exercise it was your choice. If you went off program, it was your choice. If you compain about how hard it is to stay OP, it was always be hard.

It amazes me how easy being OP can be when I'm prepared and organized. Yes, it takes time to plan meals, cut up veggies, ect. But then the week is so much easier.

Thanks again!

Shannon - Don't know how I missed this the other day! Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is just what I need to post on my mirror and carry with me. I'm so busy and stressed most of the time, that often I allow that to be my excuse for why I'm not exercising. This was just the graemlins/bcbkick.gif I needed.

Thanks again buddy!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Shannon! smile.gif I'm going to print this up and put it inside the door of my computer desk.

It reminds me of that new Reba song, what is it called? Something like, "I'm going to take that mountain"...I'm not usually a Reba fan but that's a good one.

Thanks Shannon - I printed out your post and taped it to the back of my picture when I was 60 plus pounds heavier; for double motivation.
