Has anyone ever had one of those days that just makes you want to give up? I was having one of those days yesterday. It started out bad and steadily got worse. graemlins/ugh.gif I woke up and it seemed as if nothing was going to go right. From the munchies to grocery shopping. And to top it all off I felt like someone had run me over with one of the many fire trucks and police cars that went screaming down the road in back of my house the night before. graemlins/sobbing.gif All I wanted to do was to curl up under the covers with a huge vat of chocolate and hope it got better. Which I did, by the way. Except for the chocolate was fat free pudding and only cost me 2 points. Has anyone else ever had one of those days? How do you get through them??

(((((hugs)))))

sometimes there's not much you can do, other than knowing it will be over in less than 24 hrs. maybe next time you are feeling good again (soon hopefully!) make a little list of things that make you happy that you can pull out and read (and maybe do somethign on the list) when you are sad. and if you ever do end up feeding sadness with food, write down how you feel afterwards (i guarantee it won't be "better", it will probably be something like "out of control", "gross", "sadder" etc) and next time you're tempted to do it again, read and recall how you felt last time. graemlins/bcbsalute.gif graemlins/bcbsalute.gif to you for choosing the chocolate pudding instead of a "vat of chocolate" - that was also a great way to cope - felt like "giving in" but did no harm smile.gif

I've had those days where I felt like I wanted to quit....I think everybody has but the main thing is....you're still here! I used to feel down about myself and my weight a lot but I have a different approach on life these days (others will agree that they've seen it in me I think)....I finally look at each day with a smile on my face and the goal to improve myself for me and nobody else. So far it's working..I'm hoping it gets contagious.....so, do what i do when I feel discouraged and down...post here...as often as you need to...there's a great amount of support!
