View Full Version : Timing Question

As a college student, sometimes I am up and eating at 1 or 2am. I wanted this to count as the end of the previous day, not the beginning of the next, as I had not yet gone to sleep. So, I designed my day to begin at 8am instead of midnight. Tomorrow my school is co-hosting a horse show, and everyone has to be there to help set up by 7am. The barn we are using is 1hr away, so I'm leaving school at 6am  . This means getting up @ 4:30 (or maybe just never going to sleep). My question is this: Chances are I am going to be eating breakfast before my new day starts @ 8am. Since it is breakfast, logically it is the 1st meal of the new day, except that it will be too early. So, what day do I count these points for, today or tomorrow? I guess it really doesn't matter as today is the 1st day of my new week and I have all my FP avalible, as well as it being 3:10pm and I haven't eaten today cause I just got up an hr and a half ago. But, I'd just like to know.

I would count them towards tomorrow. Technically, you are eating them "tomorrow" although you say your day doesn't begin until 8. And if you notice that you need to use those flex...go ahead...that's what they are there for!! smile.gif

Don't worry you already burned off 2 points just trying to figure it out.... :D

lol CW sometimes u crack me up. I have trouble eating on the weekends (somthing I have to work on) as like today started @ 2pm. So I think I may actually end up having 9pts left... which means counting breakfast as today will save me from being offP. It's weird isn't it?

Hey Cheryl. My leader has told us numerous times not to be afraid to change it up from time to time.
She says there's no reason you have to start your point day in the morning. She has many members who are night eaters who start and end their point day at dinnertime instead of breakfast. That way, they can have more points available when they need them instead of having to try to "save them" all day.
She also doesn't call them breakfast, lunch and dinner -- she calls them "eating experience #1" and "eating experience #2" etc... etc...
Just a thought out of the box. smile.gif
OT: If you ever have access to a car at school, you should come and hear her speak on Sat AM in Wantagh -- she's a multi award-winning leader and worth the trip for sure! PM me if you ever want directions. Go Hofstra!
