Do you think they are worth it? I'd be back to being a beginner again and I'm looking for something but not sure if I should just buy the first one or all 3 at once (yes, I know its cheaper for all 3. If they arent worth it, I didnt want to spend the money on them.
Anyways - what do you think?

I have the DVD that includes all three workouts. I've never done the light intensity one since I'm a more advanced exerciser, but I LOVE the high intensity one and use the moderate intensity one infrequently as well.
I'm a leader so I wanted to at least try the workouts to be able to talk about them to my members. smile.gif

I don't have the WW Video's, but I do have Leslie Sansone WATP tapes and think they are great.
Please check the WW & Exercise board. There are several threads or at least posts about workout videos and where to get them at discounted prices.

Maestros....how many AP's do you generally get when doing the high intensity video?

At my weight, the high intensity earns 5 points.

I really like the dvd, but I'm having to increase the weights in order to maintain the intensity. And I find the moderate intensity is harder (in some ways) than the high intensity. More weight training, vs aerobic, and I'm just beginning to build strength in my upper body. And I still can't figure out the "backward vee steps" (is that what they are?)
:D I like the crossover stuff, looks like ballet; but probably not when I do it, but in my mind it does!

I have the DVD with all three. I do the Moderate intensity. I hardly ever do the light. I did the high once and struggled I have thought to try it again and see how I do. I also have yet to figure out the backward Vee Steps. I thought I was the only one. I also the the Walk away the pounds videos.

Just an FYI...the Weight Watchers exercise videos/DVD are an exteneded version of the DVD that was included in the FAST TRACK kit ...so if you liked that then you'll love it! smile.gif

Another great thing about the WW exercise videos is that it gives you a great "feel" for what WW defines as low, moderate & high intensity exercise. I found that info also very helpful.
I must say that I used the WW videos exclusively for the first 12 weeks of my weight loss journey. I looked forward to them, found myself gaining strength and endurance and lookin' pretty darn good! ;)
Now, I do the Firm videos. However, I would not have been ready to move onto that level without having started with the WW videos.

I think if you are a complete couch potato, as I was, probably the WATP are the best way to start...then the WW dvd's, not only because they are a bit more challenging, but because it introduces you to the vocabulary that you'll find on other work out videos. Leslie Sansome tends to use her own words, eg. what she calls "kick backs" are called "leg curls" by most trainers; kick backs are a triceps move...and on the WW dvd's, that are repeated on other aerobic workouts. I found that very helpful.

That is good to know! I have the WATP and was thinking about using them - but couldn't decide what would be best. Sansone it is! smile.gif :D

I have the DVD with all three workouts, and I pretty much only do the high intensity one. I liked the sampler that they gave out and so purchased the DVD and I have not been disappointed. I love the high intensity workout!
