grapefruit

I have a half a grapefruit for breakfast every morning and have been counting it as one point. But at my last meeting someone said it was only 1/2 point for 1/2 a grapefruit. ALso, can I count eating 1/2 a grapefruit as 1 fruit/veggie?

Grapefruit is listed in your "Getting Started" book - Week 1, on page 81

1 cup grapefruit sections is 1 point
1 small or medium whole grapefruit ( 3 1/2 to 4" diameter) is 1 point
1 large grapefruit ( 5" diameter) is 2 points

They would all count as one fruit each.

Thanks Ashlee! I eat 1/2 a small G.F eat day so I will count it as 1/2 pt, but count it as one full fruit.
