Yummm! I love craisins. I only eat half a serving on my cereal, so I don't count them as fruit! But I would think a full serving should count! :D

I would think so! They are fruit after all. Raisins count, don't they?

Remember that Craisins are cranberries + sugar. smile.gif
1 1/2 cups of fresh cranberries are 1 point, which would be "one serving of fruit." 1/4 cup dried cranberries are 2 points. So, even though I read it in the Food Companion, I don't understand how 1/3 cup (more than 1/4 cup!) of Craisins, which are sweetened with sugar, can be 2 points! Maybe the key is to WEIGH the fruit to get a more accurate measurement.
Anyway, I use dried fruits veeeeery sparingly because of this. I like to have them in my oatmeal, and I have a special treat everyday of 5 almonds and a couple of tiny piecess of dried mango--oooo they go well together.
