Good Morning Ladies,

Just a quick check in to say "hi" to everyone. I had a good day yesterday and today is starting off good. I got up early this am and mowed my lawn. Front and back. It is an amazing workout because my house is on a hill. I was huffing & puffing but I made it. I have lots of house cleaning to do today so I will earn more APs.

 Hi Melodie and welcome to our WONDERFUL group.

Have a great OP day everyone and I'll be back later.

Morning Everyone! I am off to have a great OP day! I am actually going to start getting some things together for our beach trip in two weeks. Travelling with 2 kids makes it harder for me and I forget things. If I just get started now, I won't forget as many things! Thank God for 24hr Walmarts located almost EVERYWHERE!

I am cursed with THUNDER THIGHS!! I could probably wear alot of things I tried on yesterday, but my thighs just won't allow me. I know I can't spot reduce, but I am convinced all of my extra weight is stored there and a portion is stored on my stomach too. But, I really think my thighs have my stomach beat! I am going to keep working hard though and maybe they will level out one day!!! I have a killer workout rotation for the next 2 weeks along with incorporating the principles of the ABS diet in with WW, so we will see how far I get!

Have a great day everyone!

Hello all :bcb_happy

Dropping in to say hi! I have several errands to do downtown today, before all the tourist get here for the weekend!

After my walk, I am going to head to town. Going to the Famer's Market to load up on some veggies.

Shelia...Mowing will give you a head start on those AP's for the day!!

Nikki...A trip to the beach sounds wonderful! I have to start making my list weeks ahead of time so I don't leave anything behind!

Yesterday, my ped steps were 7559...so I am getting to that 10,000!! :bcb_march

Well....I got to get moving! I will check in later!

Everyone have a feel good and OP day! :bcb_happy

Today I don't feel like trying. I think I burned myself out with my mega miles of biking the last few days. I'm giving myself a day off from exercising except for some walking on my breaks with a coworker/friend. And, I'll plan my foods, get busy and not think about it. I must be tired today. I will ride again tomorrow though since I don't have to work. Maybe I can even get up early and go.

Sheila - Way to get going right away in the a.m.!
Melodee - Thanks for introducing yourself. Sounds like you'll fit right into this group!

Have a great OP day everyone. I'll be back if I'm really having trouble today!

Good morning Sheila, Nikki, Cammie, and Melodee (and all who follow),

It just hit me that the 4th of July is tomorrow. Where have I been? Summer is speeding by and I need to start hitting the pool. It's the only exercise that is cool and fun in the summer time. Unfortunately, I am a fainter and if I get too hot I pass out, no matter how much water I drink.:bcb_down My exercises have been brought back into the house for obvious reasons and since I have to take my DD to work at 4:30, I am too beat to go bike riding. My DH told me last night that he will start taking her again because I want to get my bike ride in and each morning, (he is so sweet to me) I have been out of it. :bcb_grrrr Oh well, tomorrow is a new day and it is her day off so I'm going to ride my bike, it's supposed to hit 100 today, fun! We never do get spring, we get snow and then summer...
Have a wonderful 4th of July, Happy Independence Day!
Blessings!

Hi all, just a quick run by as I finish packing to go away until Saturday. My parents have a place on a lake in the mountains of NC, so I am headed up there until Saturday. They have an amazing celebration for the 4rth ending with fireworks over the lake. We take the boat out most of the day and watch it from there. Both my parents have done WW so I am not concerned about the meals, they will be point friendly!

Barb- Glad to hear DH is doing well, will contiue to keep you both in my thoughts!

Nikki- I am sooooo there with you on the thigh issue! It drives me insane!!! I am still fluctuating between sizes 4-8. I have no doubt that I would be a solid size 4 now if it wasn't for those huge things that are my thighs. Genetics suck sometimes!lol You are handling it right though with exercise and remember firm thighs even if they are larger look much better than flabby thin ones!

Missilissa- Glad your DH is helping out so you get your ride in!

Cammie- Sounds like you need a day or two off! Relax and enjoy!

Melodee- good job on getting the steps in! One thing I found that helped me out....anytime I had to wait on something....microwave etc. I would just walk around the kitchen getting in sometimes a couple hundred steps. One morning I got to a store about 5 minutes before it opened and I walked around the outside of the store during that time....I got in over 300 during that time. You will get up to 10k in no time!

Hope everyone has a wonderfull 4rth!!!

Good morning buddies,

Today is a good day because DS has no sports and I get to do whatever I want today! I woke up really late because I stayed up REALLY late. LIke 2am so I slept until 11:30am. YIKES! But I don't mind occassionally waking up late like that. I used to sleep that late EVERY day as a teenager. LOL. Must have driven my mother NUTS!! She is such a morning person...unlike me! Anyway. I am going to get to the gym sometime today and earned another 10 aps. I love my high intensity workout and I've been ending up on the bike for my last 15 min after my high intensity portion and really pedaling fast and working my legs. Feels good! I've gotten about 4-5 miles each time I get on the bike! WOOHOO!! All I know is that stairmaster is KILLER!!!!

I'll probably walk with my mom after dinner too and do the couch 25k week 2. I may even go in the pool for a bit, haven't gone in much yet this year. I"ve been trying to tackle cleaning sections of my room that are just cluttered and awful!

Sheila: Woohoo on the mowing this morning. It is a great workout! What a great way to start off your aps this morning!

Nikki: She stickied the goals and intros. :bcb_up I feel like such a pain asking HER all the time. I guess I should try to rub elbows with another moderator so i'm not always bothering the same woman. LOL.
I guess I should be counting my blessings instead of complaining about inner thigh flab. I'm very tall and pretty proportioned so I don't carry the weight anywhere specific except for my stomach, that is a little bigger than everything else. YUCK! My mom has pretty thin legs so I guess I got the good gene pool in that area. But my legs are thick because they have always been muscular from dance, so there is nothing "thin" on me....I"m rather "statuesque" as some of my friends put it....or like "Xena the Warrior princess". LMAO...that was my nickname before from one of my friends because i'm sort of amazonish. LOL! Gotta love your friends for a good laugh. I think exercise will definitely minimize your thighs eventually. Just keep working at it girl, you're doing great!

MElody: Way to go on almost reaching 10,000 steps. YOu are on your way! :bcb_up A farmer's market sounds great.

Cammie: You definitely deserve a little break. YOu have been riding your A$$ off! Enjoy your free day and then get right back on tomorrow! :bcb_up

LIssa: Yes, tomorrow is July 4th but I will be in a car for at least 3 hours so it's not something I've been really looking forward too. LOL. I should try to get some exercise in my pool too but I've been so busy with other things that I haven't even really been in my pool yet! Maybe I'll do soemthing in it today! Enjoy your 100 degree weather. YUCK!!!

Barbara: Glad that DH got through the surgery okay! Looks like all the thoughts and prayers are working! XOXO

Abbie: Sounds like you have a great weekend planned. Out on the boat? Lucky you. DBF and I want to get a boat one day. I love the water and tubing and water skiing, so it will be a great investment someday. But first we have to work on the engagement, and then the wedding and then a house and THEN a boat. Ugh, it's a long way off I guess! bcb_sad Enjoy your weekend.

I think I got everybody that posted so far today. I'm off to eat some lunch. Have a great OP day everybody. And enjoy your 4th of July if I miss you! XOXO

Nikki - i just did Amy Bento. I didn't finish. I did about 53 min and was so exhausted. choreography was fast, but not TOO bad to keep up with, but there is a lot more jumping around and less abs than billy blanks. It's a good heart pumping workout though!
I also have thunder thighs. At some point though, i guess it's just better to accept our shape and work WITH it. Even when i am at my lowest weight, my thighs are large but muscular. And some people really like that! It's not great for skinny jeans or anything, but I'm beginning to appreciate my shape for what it is.

So i'm down to 125.6, almost 10 lbs down from 15 days ago. I am finally getting rid of the 8s. I'm now a solid 6 and sometimes 4 depending on the brand. LOL. But i look a lot better. the results motivate me! I have about 5.6 lbs to go until my preliminary goal, and then 5 more to absolute personal goal. woohoo!!!

Good evening ladies,

The night is winding down for me and i'm going to have a bowl of cereal and go to bed. I did alot of runnign around today to prepare for our trip tomorrow. We are leaving later in the day but I like to be prepared. DS is sleeping at a friends house so I planned on hitting the gym late tonight like 9/9:30pm. I like working out at night. Well by the time I got there, it was closed. I totally forgot about the HOliday hours because my gym is 24 hours MOn - Thurs. UGH!!! I was sooo pissed, so I got home and did my c25k walk/run for 30 min, 200 crunches and danced for about 30 min because I had to make up a routine to teach the kids at theater camp on Monday for their auditions. So I earned 6 aps today and I'll earn my 10 at the gym tomorrow morning instead. I guess it worked out better for me because I did soemthing else and earned another 2aps for the week because of it! As long as the gym works out for me tomorrow morning I'll have earned 48aps this week! WOOHOO!!!

I hope you all have a great 4th of July weekend. I will be posting tomorrow once or twice but then I will be away from a computer until Sunday evening. So I will not be able to post my weigh in until Sunday night! I'm already down to about 203.4 so far so i'm hoping I stay at that or a little lower by Saturday morning. But if that's what it is and I"m down 1.4 that's okay too! Onederland is getting closer and closer. I can feel it! :bcb_grin
