Good Morning Ladies,

Sorry I didn't get to log on over the weekend. I had a very busy weekend. I did so so OP. I didn't fall off the wagon or anything but I didn't journal and I didn't get to workout. I had a few social events but I did very good considering what I would have eaten before. I can't believe tomorrow is July already. The year is flying by. I hope I can be half way to goal by the end of the year.

I have to run now and will check back later. Have a great OP day!!!

Good morning sheila and all who follow!
I had a nice trip to chattanooga and bowled quite well.I should get back money on several teams. We didn't get home until after 10 last night so I was extra late going to bed after unpacking and trying to unwind.DH has his gall Bladder surgery wed so I pretty well know what this coming weekend holds(LOL)Hope you all had a good weekend and congrats melissa on the great loss you are getting closer to onederland.I stepped on scale to peek this morning and was still down so Hopefully WI tomorow will be good.BBL:bcb_march:bcb_march

Good morning....I gained 2.2 this week :bcb_blush this is the first time I've had a pound or more gain since I started and I'm just so mad at myself for it. I've been eating OP, but then almost every day last week I would sabatoge myself w/ something stupid like a 6pt snack :bcb_kick: It didn't help that it was my rest week so I wasn't really exercising. grrrr!

So my plan is to kick the bad snacks. I bought some core popcorn that will better get me through the afternoon snack cravings (instead of carrotts) while I come off this snack/sugar hump. I have my week planned out already. However, since this is a short week (I'll be out of town Thursday & Friday) I'm not going to start my next strength phase until next week...but I will find some sort of activity for at least 30 minutes each day. Our July 4th party is Thursday but that ton't be too bad since I'll be playing volley ball the whole day so it balances out, and I'll take a core friendly dish or two so I don't have to go beserk on that food.

Christen - Your plan looks great and it sounds like you've identified the cause of your gain. That's not a huge gain so take it in stride and have a great OP week! Volleyball should be a great way to burn some calories and have fun!!

Barb - How cool to have a recreational activity that makes money! I hope DH's surgery goes well. Skinny vibes for WI tomorrow!!

Sheila - I didn't log in this weekend either. Same thing busy...so so OP and no exercise. I did do housework till I broke a sweat though. :bcb_up

I was irritated at my second meeting yesterday. I actually gained a lb according to her scale which I don't trust because it says I'm 10 lbs lighterh than I know I am. My friend that isn't doing herbalife either stayed the same. We both exercised a lot more last week than we have in ages. We felt good about our week. One other lady there was saying, "if we had been on the herbalife program, we'd have lost 6 lbs like one of them that did". :bcb_mad2 I've got to keep at it so the scale will catch up with me and I can show them I don't need their supplements to lose weight. Oh.....I did lose inches though. My waist mostly. So there! :bcb_yuck: I almost thought of quiting it but I'm going to use it for motivation.

I'm weighing on my friend's scale tomorrow if she remembers to bring it. Otherwise, I will wait to post weight till the next time I get to her house. Possibly next Mon or Tues. I might have to ask DH to get ours out after being put away for two or so months. I don't like not being able to weigh once a week and don't want to rely on the scale at our meetings.

Greetings all who follow! I hope you had a great weekend and are psyched to have a strong OP 4th of July week!

Good afternoon. Trying to get fully in the groove and post often. I did post my menu on the journal thread, so that is one positive. At lunch I chose the WW entree at work--salmon, spinach and carrots, so it was a low point lunch--another positive. I can't go to my normal WI Wed, so I checked an found one close to home at 7:30 AM tomorrow--third positive. DH & I are going to the ball game tonight on business, have company seats, so I should be able to find some relatively good-for-me dinner--not restricted to hot dogs and junk food--though there will be plenty around! I will drink water--not beer :bcb_grin--so that the scale will be as good as possible in the AM.

We are leaving for Michigan Wednesday noonish and I will return Sunday. Meanwhile, I may or may not have computer access; if not, I will keep a paper journal so I can give you the update on points used/target. I am determined to get back on the wagon. I looked at my "1 pound per week" from the beginning of the year and I was doing so well --then BAM! Moving, graduation, general upheaval in our lives...no excuse, but geez, life really interferes with plans sometimes, ya know? At any rate, the 1 lb/week document says "July 4th will find me 27 pounds lighter". Unfortunately, I'm only 8.5 lbs lighter as of last WI. :bcb_grrrr All my own doing (or NOT-doing). So I'm way behind and running to catch up. How I wish I hadn't gotten off track. :bcb_blush

Well I'm happy to report that I've stuck to my plan all day. Having dinner w/ family tonight but I'll find something core friendly if it kills me.

Good afternoon buddies,

Today is just a nice, relaxing day. I woke up around 10am, went to DS's coach's jewelry store to pick up some money. My name was picked from the calander raffle and I won 25.00, my mom won 15.00 and my aunt won 15.00. So I went to gather up all of our winnings and then I went to the grocery store to stock up on veggies and fruit.

Yesterday was a nice day. DBF and I and all the kids, my DB and DSIL and their two girls all went strawberry picking and then they came over and we had low pt burgers on the grill and mom and I had a peppercorn steak salad like at 99 restaurant, but ours is better and less points! YUM!!!

I was OP yesterday and will be again today. Didn't get any exercise in Saturday because of being at the wedding all day but I did do 30 min c25k with my mom last night and my 200 crunches before bed and today I'll be going to the gym while DS is at baseball practice.

4th of July is usually a huge picnic at my brothers house and going to see the fire works together but this year mom and I are driving to Cooperstown NY to bring DS to Cooperstown Field of Dreams. His baseball team is going there from July 4th until July 11th so mom and I are going up there this weekend and next weekend to pick him up. We are going to stay an extra night next weekend and then go to Howe Caverns on Saturday. I"m excited for that! So the weekends will be tough with eating out at every meal, but being with my mom will make it easy because she will make good choices and encourage me to do the same! We found a meeting 8 minutes from our hotel that we are going to go to at 8:30am on both Saturday mornings so we don't miss weigh in! :bcb_up

I"ll do personals later. I have to get DS something to eat and then get ready for baseball practice!

You gals are so committed! I love to read your posts, they are so inspiring for me to keep up the good work, like you are.
I have been up since 4:30AM and I have been gone for most of that time. I am too tired for personals, but I just had to see how my buddies were doing. It sounds like you are all doing great. Keep on keepin' on!
Hopefully I'll make personals tomorrow. I am up at 4:30 every day until Wed. My DD needs a ride to work those 3 days and I elected myself for the dreaded task. I didn't want my DH to do it because he is getting home a bit later this week from his night job.
Blessings to you all!
Melissa

I got in my workout at the gym and I feel great. I had to do 15 min less so I could get DS at baseball. So I earned 9 aps instead of 10aps...but that's still great. I did 45 min High Intensity cardio on the arc trainer, stairmaster and elliptical...my tank top was soaking wet. LOL....then I did 30 min of weights (back and biceps) and abs. WOOHOO!! I am totally OP again today. I will have all my healthy 8's in when I have 2 milk servings for my snacks tonight. I have 15 pts left including my aps so I will definitely remain OP by bedtime! YIPEE!!

Hope you are all having a great OP day! XOXO

Melissa, your picture is so darling. I can see in your face how much you have lost. It looks like you are right on program with your choices. Good for you! Hang in there. 6 pounds isn't very far from Onederland, be fiesty about your goal and you will attain it and when you get back to school in th fall, no one will recognise you.:bcb_happy
Blessings,
Melissa
(I noticed that I totally posted on the wrong site last night, that is how tired I was/am):bcb_LOL:
