Good Morning Ladies,
I hope everyone had a great evening. I now have 2 OP days under my belt. I am feeling much stronger now and am determined to win this battle. I have been eating mostly Core foods and trying to stay away from the junk foods. I think that will help me to lose faster.
Abbie I hope all goes well for you on Friday
Melissa I founds something else to help me get through the evenings w/o snacking. Diet SF Hawiian Fruit punch. It is so good! I had it with lots of crushed ice and it was a great treat. I bought the individual pkts that you pour in your bottlle of water. Today I will stick the bottle in the freezer and let it get slushy. That should be good too. I found them at the Dollar Tree store. I also got pink lemonade and lemonade.
I'm about to run out for my walk and will check back later. Have a great OP day everyone!

Good morning sheila and others that follow,
Not much going on this morning .I am taking kids to the show @ 10:00 this morning so I will be rushed around .Hopefully I dont forget to go to the bank beforehand and have another repeat of last week.We didn't go yesterday because dgd fell in the shower and bumped her head. She has a huge knot on it and had a headache all day.Her mom didnt take her to the dr. but she probally had a concusion.I rearranged my living room yesterday so that wore me out.DS is taking his first finals today so he is abit on nerves. He is afraid he will not make an A and will probally get a B . I told him thats still good but I know how he is and Hopes to get better.I think its pretty good being out of school for 3 years and then going to college and he works nights also.Right now he is going for RN but wonts to probally go on to be a doctor.I believe it is more work than he imagined but it will be worth it in the long run.
Gotta go BBL.
Have a great OP day!:bcb_march:bcb_march

Great Thursday morning to you all!
Sheila - Thanks for sharing. Those sound delish and enough of a treat that I wouldn't feel I needed more after. YEAH for you! Don't you feel better after two whole OP days? It's odd how impossible it feels when you're stuck in the bad food rut! And, then you do it and it's really not that bad!
Barb - I hope gdg is OK today. How cool that DS went to college after a few years. I went to college right after school and then quit to work for a while. I just felt it was an aweful lot of money to be spending to drift. Then, I decided I wanted to go to school and what for and was much more dedicated. Sometimes, it just works out even though you don't follow what is commonly thought to be the thing to do.
I rode all the way to work today. It took me an hour. I don't understand my spedometer thingy so I'm not exactly sure how far it was but somewhere between 12 and 15! My face was sooo flushed when I got to work. I must have looked a fright! And, there are people here in the mornings so they did see me. Oh well. I'm so proud of myself for doing it. I think I'll even try it again next week weather permitting. After work, I'm just pedalling over to DD's daycare which is a couple of miles and riding home with DH. I think it will be too hot to ride back and truthfully, I probably don't have it in me anyway.

First off..WHOOOHOOOO CAMMIE!!!! YOU ARE DOING IT UP! THAT IS WHAT ACTIVITY IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT, DOING SOMETHING YOU ENJOY THAT REALLY DOESN'T SEEM LIKE EXERCISE! I KNOW YOU WILL BEGIN TO SEE A DIFFERENCE!!

Sheila: Thanks for the find! I am going to look for them. Putting them in the freezer is a good idea, especially in this hot weather!
Barb: Sorry to hear about Dgd! As far as DS, I went to college right after high school and wasn't ready, didn't know what I really wanted to do and just ended up partying and dropping out to work full time. I got 2 years of credits and just transferred them to the community college here this past January for the Nursing program as well. I am going to get my BA after I get my Associates, but I am doing what works for me and my family. Anyone who goes to college at ANYTIME is doing something great to better their life.
Tomorrow is wi, so I hope I have lost at least a lb! That is what I am aiming for. One lb a week is very realistic which means by Oct. 17th, I should be at goal. I will be very happy with that. I am on these super duper hard workout rotations that are changing my body as well, so it could possibly be before then but my realistic goal is Oct.17th!!!! So that is 4 months away and I am doing what it takes to make strides toward that goal. I have found setting more realistic goals really helps me. I am not really UNDER estimating myself, but I setting goals that are realistic. If I lose 2lbs one week, I am just a week closer to goal so all in all I am very pleased!!

YEAH CAMMIE!!! What an awesome accomplishment. I can't imagine riding that many miles at once. I know you are going to have a great W/I this week.
Barbara - Have fun at the movies.
Nikki ((((((skinny vibes )))))) for tomorrow's W/I. Hopefully the scale will show for all your hard work. If not, I'm sure you're dropping inches like crazy. Keep on being my motivator.
I had a nice walk this morning and I finished up just before it started raining. I also have to start my weight training back today. I will do Hi Def Sculp later today.
I am setting a goal to be at my goal by June next year. That's 65 pounds in a year or an average of 1.25 pounds per week. This is very doable if I put my mind to it.
Oh I forgot to tell you all about another find yesterday. Someone in my WW mtg this week mentioned these marinated red peppers and mushrooms. That was what took me to the Dollar Tree Store. I bought them and they are AWESOME!! I had them in my salad yesterday and it really made the salad. They are only $1 a jar and the mushrooms come in a variety of flavors. They are low in sodium and cals. The whole jar for both is only 60 calories.

Sheila: 1.25lbs a week is totally doable!!!! You know I have your back!! Great job on starting your day off with a walk at StnMtn!!!!
Barb: How many steps were you able to get in yesterday with all the things you had going on? If things are more calm for you today, lets aim for 6200 okay!!
Christen: Did you earn those APs to cover what you ate?
Melissa: how did the nighttime eating go last night?

Good evening ladies,
I did it! I went through the night with planned snacks and one extra that I had aps for and came out OP with 1 ap left to spare! WOOHOO!! It feels great, what an accomplishment. And then after such a great accomplishment, I woke up this morning with a migraine! UGH!! it's killing me and I already threw up once this morning! :bcb_mad2
Barbara: Good for DS! I didn't go to college right after highschool. I was going to dance on broadway and I spent a few years dancing at Six Flags and teaching dance and living the life. Then when I was 22 I got preggo and I went to college when DS was 2 years old. I started off majoring in psychology but new that would take too long to get a degree in what I was really interested in, Child psychoogist. So I switched to Elementary Education and it took me 5 years to get my bachelors with minors in psychology and English, but it was sooo worth it. Now I've been teaching for 2 1/2 years, I got a second license in Special Education and in May 2009 I will have my Masters Degree in Special Education as well. It was hard because the entire time I was in school I was working and I was being a single mother to DS. But soooo rewarding to know that I did it, all on my own, with mom's help, I did it! At least DS only wanted a few years and not 10 years. LOL. I think that eventually I will go for my PhD. in psychology so that my dream of being a psychologist may still be possible for me in the future.
NIkki: I did it girl! 1 night under my belt and i'm hoping for another great night tonight! Now I have to go lay down and get rid of this migraine!((((skinny vibes)))) for weigh in today!
Sheila: thanks for the tips. The only problem is that I HATE diet drinks. Soda, juice, etc. They make me nauseaus!!! But maybe, if I keep trying them, I can acquire a taste for them.
Cammie: Way to go! riding your bike all the way to work is quite the accomplishment. YOu should be very proud of yourself! XOXO

Nikki I did not earn those ap's :bcb_blush I was going to take a bike ride and then it started down pouring outside :bcb_kick: but I have a plan to be POP today and get in some sort of exercise. I still have a couple more days in my strength "rest week", starting back on that this weekend.
Melissa : Way to go on the OP day yesterday!!

Christen: Don't worry about that now. Focus on the present! I have had MANY days where I would eat and need to earn APs but just didnt. Keep doing what you are doing and you will get to your goal! Love the new profile pic too!:bcb_bigsm
Melissa: GREAT JOB! I knew you could do it! Sorry about the migraine! BTW, the Black team WILL be losing at least 10lbs a week! I feel it this time!LOL!
Anna: Where are you? I tried Jillian's Shred level....3!!!!!! OMG! It was a great workout though and I will be alternating between 2 and 3 for the next 2 weeks of my rotation! I will do level one whenever my sister wants me to do it with her and probaby during a recovery week after this rotation!
Abbie: How did wi go for you? Still praying that everything will go in your favor and will be finalized tomorrow!
Does anyone like granola? Well, I didn't think I really liked it, but I got a free sample from Kashi. It was their Medley berry kind and it is DELICIOUS!!! I added it to some ff plain yogurt with strawberries and fell in love. It is in the cereal aisle with all the other Kashi stuff! I don't even like pecans and almond slivers, but I sure do like them in that granola!

Hi guys! Busy day running around for the house. Tomorrow the carpenter comes to talk about bookshelves and a cabinet --maybe we can finally unpack all these books, if he gets going soon! Sheila--I hope I'm back on track too. I dread going to WI tomorrow, though. All this eating out over the past month with travel and moving is going to take its toll. My trainer has been whupping me though--the last two days have been tough--so, good, I guess. :bcb_huh: I really need to start running again. One thing at a time! I have had a very good day today, though, so I'm happy about that.
Nikki--Hey there! I'm looking forward to really getting going again
Cammie--WOW! Way to go! You are going to be slim in no time!
Barb--I'm a nurse and there just aren't enough. Hope DS does well and enjoys it. We need good nurses.
Got to run. More later...maybe

These pictures on everyone's logo are so cute. I have been gone all day again and I am beat. Today, we bought a Subaru Forester. I can't believe it took as long as it did. It makes you want to start riding your bike more often. I have been gone since 1 PM and I got back at 7 PM. too much...
I hope you all had a wonderful day, OP all the way. I am on day 5 of breakfasts. I am babysitting (or is that breakfast sitting?) myself. At least this way I remember. I'll read over todays thread and try to get personals in tomorrow.
You gals are awesome!
Blessings to you and yours,
Melissa
