Good Morning Ladies,

Way to go Barbara on reaching onederland :jump_jack I can't wait to get back there.

I did my walk this morning and mowed lawn for about 20 mins. It feels so good to be back in control.

I've decided that I need to go back to the meetings so I am on my way to join right now! I will check in later when I return.

Have a great OP day everyone.

Morning Judy!!!!

Sheila: I think that is a great idea! You do great when you have that extra accountability!!

I have started today off by burning 5APs!! No extra workout tonight other than working these stubborn abs!!! I need to rest my arms and shoulders! I won't be on much today until later because I am sitting for a 9 month old today along with my 2!! Everyone have a great day!

Nikki - 5 AP's already? WHEW! I feel like such a slacker. Actually not, I did my 20 mile bike ride yesterday. Hard but felt GREAT to accomplish it. Today is upper body for me. Have fun with the three kids.

Barb - :jump_jack:jump_jack How does it feel to be in Onederland. I can't wait!! GREAT JOB!!!

Sheila - You are really getting back at it. You'll feel so much better in just a few days. What will be your WI day?

Judy - We had hot and humid last eve and I couldn't sleep. UGH! So tired today. I'm glad it's cool there and sounds like you've got a productive day planned.

DH said he knew how I could get exercise and drive my metabolism up. I can build my patio I've been wanting. At first I was a little peaved. Obviously, he doesn't want to build my patio? :bcb_mad2 But, I thought about it and I might just do that to prove to myself that I can. And, he's right. It's a physical acitvity with many rewards...exericse and the patio I've wanted for years. AND, I can build it how I want!!! So, don't be suprised if I start typing about block, etc. :bcb_cool2 It'll probably take me five times longer than him but I CAN DO IT!

Morning all who follow. It's great to be on day 2 but I might be back. I can tell it's going to be a hungry day. No sleep and only on day 2. Yup, I've got my work cut out for me. I CAN DO THIS! I WILL DO THIS!

Cammie: I am so glad to see that you are back, too. ((((hugs)))) It's so good to have someone to partner with and I am glad that your co-worker is joining you. You're right, you don't have to take supplements, but remember your vitamins. I have to take my vits or I crash and burn.

Sheila: I am so glad to see you back on again. ((((hugs)))) We are here for you. Make it your daily goal to log in and post. We are your cheerleaders. One WW thing that I just read is not to go it alone. Here is a link to the article, I hope it works:
http://www.weightwatchers.ca/util/art/index_art.aspx?tabnum=1&art_id=21771&sc=804

Nikki: I am 3 for 3 on my breakfast. ((((hugs)))) I made myself a little spreadsheet to put on my fridge to mark for each day that I eat breakfast, maybe I will finally break through this stubborn plateau (I am still happy with being in 9's though).

Judy: I hope that you are doing well! ((((hugs)))) I haven't seen you for a bit, but I didn't do much posting since Saturday. I hope that you are doing better with your diabetic way of eating. I had to eat like that with each of my pregnancies, you can do it. Menu planning is such a pain in the botty, but it is worth it in the long run.

Barb: I am so proud of you! ((((hugs)))) Did you do the Boggie Onederland Boot scoot? Down south, they call it the jig. Barb, I am so thrilled for you. I remember breaking through that barrier and I haven't been back since. You stick to your guns. DETERMINATION! That is the key. Pretty soon you'll be trading those 13/14's for 11/12's and not long after that you'll be trading down again. WAY TO GO!!!!!:bcb_bravo:bcb_bravo High Fives!

Yea Cammie, you CAN do this!! That patio project sounds like just the thing. It's hitting 2 birds with one stone! I love efficiency like that.

Barb, Congrats on ONEDERLAND!!! wooohooo!!!!!

Nikki - What are you doing for abs? I'm trying to incorporate more new-fangled workouts. I did a Pilates class this past weekend that I actually liked! So i think i'll keep doing that when i can.

This is Day 7 of JC for me. I'm hanging in there. I don't do 1200 cal a day all the time, like they tell me to, but I can't survive on 1200 a cal with my workouts. So I do 2 days where I go over, but not above 1850 cal. Lately, my weight has been fluctuating, but i'm not that worried. I'll just stay off the scale until it stabilizes next Sunday.

good morning buddies,

Well I ate a bunch of stupid snacks last night (just 100 cal packs and some corn nuts...UGH) Didn't need them but I watched 2 movies and that's what did it. Anyway, the positive side is that I got on the scale this morning and the .6 I was up from my weekend at the beach is gone, i'm back to 207.6 and will hopefully be down from that by Saturday. I was going to take DS and his friend on a hike today but they were up all night (sleepover). DS's friend said that Torre never went to bed and then crashed this morning at about 8:30am. So, NOW DS is sleeping. If he ever wakes up, I'll get to go on my hike, but he has a baseball game tonight so most likely I'll just go to the gym again. UGH!!! Kids!!!!

Barbara: WOOHOO on reaching Onederland. I"m just a little ways behind you...and I can't wait to get there. I have a new motivation and I REALLY want it bad!

Anna: Looks like you know what your body needs. YOu definitely need more fuel when your working out so stick to it and you'll be sure to see some progress!

Missilissa: At my meeting Saturday there was a woman that came back to WW after being gone a few months. She said that she reached her goal and she figured that she could do it on her own because she had been going to meetings for so long and had all the tools. But she said that she was very wrong and in those few months she tried to do it alone she had gained like 8lbs back and that's when she knew that she NEEDED to go to the meetings for the support. She couldn't do it alone! I also need the support and accountability and the motivation I get from hearing other peoples ideas and struggles. I feel like I get a double dose going to my meetings AND here at BCB.

Cammie: Go for it! Build your own patio, who needs DH. You can do it and it will be a great workout at the same time. GO GIRL!!! You are a woman, ROAR!!!!

Nikki: Woohoo for getting your 5aps in already. I haven't done much of anything yet. But I will later on. Man, you have to watch another little one....don't envy you today! :bcb_bigsm Although, if DS didn't have a sleep over today I could go running and go to the gym NOW, but since DS is sleeping and his friend is stuck here because his parents are working until 5pm, I can't go anywhere leaving another child in my house alone! AAARRRGGGHHH! If my son was awake, I wouldn't care.

Sheila: Glad you decided to go back to your meetings! They will help you to reach your goal. Woohoo, on getting in your walk and mowing the lawn. How is the night time snacking coming along? AS you can see, i'm still struggling! I don't know where my willpower went off too! bcb_sad

Judy: Enjoy your day at home!

Good Afternoon Ladies,

I did go back to the meeting this morning and I'm glad I did. I do so much better when I attend the meetings. Right now, my W/I day will be Tuesday but I may move it back to Friday.

Missilissa: Thanks for your warm words of encouragement and for sharing the article. My cousin also went with me today so we will be attending together and encouraging each other along the way.

Cammie: Building the patio sounds like fun! I'm a do it yourselfer too. I watch lots of HGTV and get inspired to tackle home projects. One weekend I decided I wanted hardwood flooring in my kitchen to match the rest of the house so I went to Home Depot, bought the wood & the saw and came home and did it all by myself. When people see it, they can't believe I did it and I feel so proud. I also saved myself over $1500. You can do it girl!

Nikki - Great job on your 5APs so early in the day.

OK OK I'll do the patio. :bcb_grin I may need a little direction but I think DH will be good about providing that if I ask. We'll see.

Had to come and post. Just ate FOUR mini dark chocolates. What happened to cutting sugars? DUH! So, off to count those points in my daily journal. GRRRRR! No more WPA's today for me!!!! I'm chewing on ice for the crunch satisfaction and stress release..no more chocolate. :)

On the bright side, I attended a meeting where pizza was provided and ate my tuna, beans, etc instead.

Missilissa - It was nice to read your ultrapositive post. It's so good to be back.
Sheila - Sounds like going back to the meeting was a huge good move for you and having a buddy makes it even better.
Anna- So good to see you here. What is JC? I'm a little out of the loop. I agree 1200 is low. That's what they said the "average" woman should have at our Herbalife meeting Sun and I just commented that I thought that was a bit low. I doubt anyone else listened to me but I guess they probably don't have PATIO's to build. LOL
Melissa - Another option for you nighttime snacking is to PLAN a snack. I sometimes have skim milk if I haven't had much dairy that day. I feel I get to have something AND fulfil my healthy 8's. If I heat it up and sweetener and maybe vanilla to it, it's a treat. Just a thought. I know you're trying to stay away from the nighttime snacking but, that's what has worked for me.

Went through my diet books this a.m. to weed some out. After all, the right book isn't going to do it for me, the right attitude is. I decided though, that Beck Diet Solution is really worth keeping. I may need to crack that one open again!

Cammie - Some good news...the dark choclates don't have as much sugar as regular milk chocolate. If the Beck Solution helped you before I say re read it. I will pull out my Dr. Phil's Ultimate Weight Loss Solution and re read the 7 Keys especially the part on emotional eating. That really helped me before. Stay strong buddy!

WOW!! You ladies have been chatty today!

Sheila: You are AWESOME! You done what you need to do to succeed. That is what we all have to do. Thanks for the motivation!
Cammie: You can definitely earn mucho APs building a patio!!! That is awesome that you decided to take on that task and I know the results will be worth it!(your results and the patio!:bcb_up) BTW, a 20 mile bike ride? I think you definitely got me there. I don't even think I can comfortably ride a bike one mile...seriously. GREAT JOB! Stop underestimating how well you are doing. I know we are our worst critics, but let up on yourself. This is a journey and we have to take it step by step. When you fall, brush yourself off and start again. Please don't beat yourself up so much, you are really doing good.
Barb: Are you still on cloud nine? How many steps have we reached today?
LISSA!!!!!!!!! I am sooo proud of you for getting 3 breakfasts in a row!! It is going to make the difference in your weight and your energy levels. You need breakfast with all that brick moving you are doing!
Anna: 1200 is definitely not enough, but do whatever you are doing because most importantly, it is helping you with your binges. I am involved with the beachbody message boards and I am on a crazy rotation, but I am seeing great results. I do AB ripper 200(200 various crunches) and Turbo Jam AbJam. But just doing Turbo Jam's Cardio Party, it is really strengthening my abs!!! I can almost see them emerging from all of the flab! Also, "NEW WORKOUT ALERT!!!" I haven't tried it, but it is Jackie Warner's Workout. If you go to collage video it is on the home page and the third dvd featured or just put WORKOUT in the search. I haven't tried it, but I watched her show and the making of it and want to add it to my rotations. Also, another is the Jillian's Maximize 2 dvd set at collage. It is supposed to be like Shred too. It is older than Shred but just as effective so I hear!!!
Melissa: I agree with Cammie on planning in some snacks. Try to eat fruit for your snacks during the day and then eat your "planned" 100 cal paks, etc at night. That way you are still in your point range. Melissa......YOU KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

ELLEN, CONNIE, IRENE, ABBIE!!!! Miss you ladies and hope you are doing great!

Forgot to chime in on my day...

Well, I have been making sure that there isn't a moment that I am without water and it has made all the difference with my hunger today. I pray it will make a difference on that scale Friday morning. I have planned out my menu for tomorrow. I am taking the kids to the free movies and I know they will want popcorn. I am taking a protein bar, 2 plums and a bottle of water for the movie. We are having lunch with DH afterwards and I have already made plans for that too! Anyway, I am going to go and have my ice cream treat and watch Hell's Kitchen! Gotta love Chef Ramsay!!!

Good Night Ladies!

Melissa - As far as the night snacking goes, it's 8:20 and I am struggling not to eat anything else. I am NOT hungry, in fact, I'm stuffed from all the veggies I ate at dinner. I am refusing to give in.

Nikki - You are the motivator!!! You have done so good and I am so proud of YOU. Enjoy your ice cream treat! Once I get back totaly in control, I will treat myself to some Bryers Slow Churn.

good evening everyone. Well, I had a good day yesterday and a not so good one today :bcb_mad2 But I am learning. Found a new menu planner on the mypyramid.gov site that really helps with getting in healthy 8's. I'm going to try to use it for meal planning. I am stiff after working harder at they gym yesterday--he had me jumping rope! Haven't done that in years...'course today, I'm paying for it. :bcb_grin

Barbara--Yay! good for you and congrats on reaching one of your milestones. You have had such great sucess so far--keep it up, girl!

My reporting will be spotty as we aren't entirely set up on the computer yet. Can't WI until Friday because I have class all day tomorrow for work. Promise to do it then, Melissa! 'Night all!
