Good morning ladies,

Very busy two days, and happy to post that today is my last day of school and it's 1/2 day. WOOHOO!!! I am bringing my gym bag and hitting the gym after work. I was very bad on Monday with my eating as well as yesterday.

I got there and didn't eat anything. Everyone was munching on tostitos and salsa, etc. I eventually had some pineapple and some carrots and a few tortillas beause they were the ones with lime. YUM!!! Anyway, 4 margaritas later, I ate whatever I wanted after that! The choices really weren't too bad, she had some rice with sauce that I tried but didn't like too much, 1 meatball, some ham, turkey and steak sliced up and a roll. :bcb_mad2 My scale was up to 209.4 this morning. NOT GOOD! That's up 3.4lbs, but TOM reared his ugly head today too. UGH!! I know it's mostly due to TOM, my weights been up all week and I've had some major symptoms which I don't usually get, bloated, sore boobs, migraines, etc. So I'll be happy when this TOM is over.

All I can do is go to the gym and work my butt off for an hour of High Intensity cardio and try to do some damage control. I will do the same thing on Thursday AND Friday too! Tonight I"m going to see a friend of mine in a show that I haven't seen in about 2 years. We will be going out to eat and out for drinks too! But now that school is out, I have plenty of time to get myself under control and get back OP.

How are my other buddies doing? STicking to your plans? Getting in your exercise? Monday I had a great 45 min of High Intensity cardio. I did 22 minutes on the arc, I was soaking wet, then I went on the ellipitcal for 10 min, but couldn't do anymore, my feet were numb. Does that happen to anyone else? I hate that. So I went on the treadmill instead and I had so much energy I walked for 1 min, ran for 2min, then walked for 1 min, then ran for 2 more than walked 1 min and ran for 4 min....I could have kept going too.....it was weird. I think it's because i kept my jog slow. I put the speed to 4.0 and walked at that speed then didn't change the speed and jogged at that speed then when I walked I didn't change the speed I kept my walk at 4.0 too. It felt really good. I hope to have that energy and I can try it again and see how much more I can jog today. WOW, 8 min total in a matter of 13 min. That's impressive for me!!! HA

Just to let you all know, I've posted the sign up thread for the biggest loser summer edition # 2. I would love my black team members ( Abbie, Nikki, Christen already signed up) to get over there and sign up. WE did GREAT the first competition and just glancing at the stats, I think the black team might be winning the whole thing. We've lost the most weight as a total for the 10 weeks. We'll see this week! :bcb_up

I saw that you signed up too Barbara.....WAY TO GO!!!

Hey everyone and Melissa!
I saw we both started todays thread so I referred to yours.Glad you have been able to work out.I belive you have plenty of time to work it off when schools out.My own personal thinking is You have to have some enjoyment and let go sometimes. As long as its not all the time and you stay op you can work it back off.Other wise we would probally start sabotaging ourselves and not sticking with program.I ate 2 1/2 slices of pizza last night(D*mn TOM) and ate a snickers bar which I havent done in about 9 months But you know it didnt taste as good as I remember.I have been getting in extra exercise this week so I dont feel to bad .
Well, I got more sleep last night than the other night thank goodness.Dh went to hospital and he has alot of gallstones so they are going to take out his gallbladder.(I 've Been there he ain't gonna like it.)He thought he could wait for 2 weeks take his antibotics and pain meds and while our bowling center is closed for redoing our lanes he would have his surgery but I don't think he will make it till the week-end.I know we joke about women being stronger with pain but I do Believe it's true.Any way He goes in today to see if his collarbone is healing so I know he will be glad to get some of this over.He is a diabetic so everything effects something else.I will be glad when he gets relief.(Maybe I can then get relief LOL).I bowled pretty good last night .Today is free movie day so I am taking daycare kids and DGD to movies.DGD Is getting to involved with staying home on computer so she needs to start getting out some.Hope all of you have a great day. Good morning buddies. It was so nice to relax last night and not have to go anywhere. We're almost half way through the first season of Lost.

The scale is not being kind this week which is stupid b/c I've been POP. Oh well, whatever, I know I'm doing well so :bcb_yuck: at the scale. It can bite my ever shrinking tooshy...I think it's time I put the scale away for a while, but then I wouldn't know what to expect at weigh in and I don't know if I can handle that.

I won't be around much tomorrow b/c I have a company breakfast/seminar I have to attend. I'm hoping they serve som fruit w/ their sugar filled pastries b/c bringing my own isn't an option and I have to leave early so if I eat before I go it won't really last me, I may have an egg or something before I leave and nibble on fruit there, that way I get my filling protein in. I'll take my carrots for morning snack and hopefully can make it home before lunch so I don't have to worry aobut eating that out.

So I may be scarce today as I try to get everything in order for being gone most the day tomorrow.

Melissa : WOohoo for summer break :) Make sure you stay well hydrated at the gym!

Barb : Good luck to your husband, my grandmother has her gallbladder removed and I remember it wasn' plesent at all...of course neither was the period leading up to it. Hope his collar bone is healing well, he deserves a break it seems.

Good Morning Everybuddy.... we have wonderful sunshine here in central Illinois. Feel so bad for all the flodded areas. We have lots of water standing in the fields but no big rivers nearby to threaten more damage.

Today is my busy day so maybe I can resist all the temptations. I cook a big lunch for DH and two grandsons and it is hard to say no. Supper is easier as we mainly do leftovers...no set schedule here...and I'm not as tempted.

Hope your day is great and Op too!!!:bcbkickbu

Morning all! Sorry I wasn't around yesterday- it's been very hectic around here lately and doesn't look like it will let up soon unfortunately!

Exercise wise I am still in a major slump....but eatting wise I am doing great and the scale is showing it. I don't know why or how but it's really dropping this week after looking like it was going to be up. Now I think I am going to have one of my highest losses ever!

Melissa- congrats on the end of school!

I have to run to get to work but I will try and check in later and do more personals.

Good for you, Abbie! Your biggest loss and no exercising. I think that is awesome, your body must be acclimatizing or getting used to its new size.
Judy, have a great OP day, may you continue not being tempted!
Barb, I hope that everything goes easily for your DH and that his recovery is quick. If he is anything like my DH, he will be up and at 'em and chomping at the bit to go bowling. Also, the more you avoid eating sweets, the more your taste buds will lose their desire for them. I craved brownies before Atkins and now I can only eat one or I get sick to my stomach.
Cristen, we'll be here when you get back, have a wonderful day.
Melissa, SUMMER! I know what the anticipation is like for you. You love your students but you NEED the break. I hope that when it gets hear, you are able to have a blast with your DS & DBF.
Way To Go Black Team! You losers!:bcb_bravo:bcb_bravo:bcb_bravo

Hey ladies!! Sorry I didn't get a chance to post today. I had an extra baby on my hands today, so the computer was the last thing on my mind. I was able to get them all to nap at the same time( a 12 month old, 9 month old and 2 year old), so during that time, I was catching my breath and trying to eat and pee!!LOL!!

I have been OP and I hope that the scale is nice to me Friday. I have been working really hard and plan to keep it up. I have the beach in a month and then a month after that...my 10 year class reunion. I HAVE to be fierce for that! So I gotta keep going!!
