Good morning Ladies!
Well the movies was great yesterday.The little boy I took has never been to the movies and was so excited.I should have taken some pictures .I drove through mcd's and got the kids some lunch to bring home and I didn't even want anything.I grilled fish (Salmon) last night and had a bad night with my heart.I remember twice before I had problems after eating grilled fish.Once I actually had to go to the hospital because I thought I was having a Heart attack.Maybe I have learned my lesson.I can eat fried catfish or ljsilvers and have no problem (OF course these are bad for you)
I am eating watermelon this morning for breakfast(YUM)
I went up a level on the total gym and I am feeling it this morning.

Good Morning! Barb, I can't wait until they start offering the free movies here. I think they do 2 a week here. I know that DD will enjoy that too!
Great job for moving up on the total gym! That means you are getting alot stronger. Make sure you measure yourself so you can see your progress when the scale doesn't agree!

I had been eating Core-ish for the past few weeks and it is getting very boring and I need to switch back up. When I get bored, I start eating all the things I shouldn't so to make things more flexible for me, it is back to the good ol' flex plan. I think it is better right now because I can still eat things that I like and not feel really guilty about them. My time with core had me making some unrealistic choices that I know I wouldn't be able to keep up with in the long run.

So I got lazy and skipped strength last night...it kinda works out for the best though b/c it means I'll be lifting Thurs & Sat...instead of Friday, the night before W/I....I don't LOVE lifting the night before w/i. So tonight I'll be doing my workout. I'm supposed to go visit my parents this weekend but I really don't want to make the drive, esp since DH is working so I'll be all alone. I jsut wanna veg out at home and focus on me.

Having a plan of attack this week has made it go really smooth so I need to get on next week's menu plan ASAP. Plus DH is losing weight big time b/c he only eats what I fix...which is a problem b/c he doesn't have any fat to loose. So I said I'd make up a meal plan for him for next week to w/ some conveniect snack foods. He's trying to gain muscle mass, but if he doesn't start taking in some more calories he's going to start cutting into his muscle b/c he honestly doesn't have like any fat left (I wish we could just merge our metabolism so he could carry a little more fat and I would burn it faster :bcb_grin) Maybe our kids will be lucky enough to get that combination.

Nikki : It's funny b/c I was just thinking this morning about how much I'm loving my core plan this week. Different things just work better for different people I guess. On flex I fell like I have too much freedom and end up eating the processed food that I know don't work for me.

Hi all -
I had a small success at the scale at Tuesday's WI - I am back to below my WW target weight. I want to get back down further so I have a bigger cushion. I have gone back to more Core foods approach - knowing that my downfall is processed foods. I do so much better eating whole and more natural foods. Taking it one day at a time.

DH and I sent for a great bike ride last night. We had a couple of good hills that provided some resistence. I am so glad that DH likes to ride with me - it's a great way to spend time together and get some activity.

Christen: Core has worked for me in the past and probably still works, but I have to really have a focused-driven mind set in order to do well with it. If I am not in it mentally, I don't do well. I am not knocking Core, but for me, doing it longer than 2 or 3 weeks just doesn't work for me. I have eliminated a lot of processed stuff though but my dinner usually includes things that are not Core. The rest of the day I am doing really well. I just think it is a mind thing with me anyway, but whatever works, right? I know you will have a great wi this time around because you seem really focused this week!

Make sure DH is filling up on good carbs and lots of protein if he is trying to build muscle!

I tried to email Cammie but the email came back. Let's just pray that she checks in!

Hey Connie! We were posting at the same time! So glad to see you here and to know that you are back down! I knew you could do it!

The weather is perfect for getting others to do some activity with you. DH, the kids and my sister took an almost 2 mile walk the other afternoon. The kids slept great that night and so did we! It is a great way for them to get some air and us to spend some quality time together!

Good for you, Connie, I wish I knew what kept me from losing and what my weaknesses were. You have found an important key to your lifetime goal.
Hey Nikki, thanks for the call out. I am here. I am doing okay, except for the fact that I had a REALLY stoopid accident with a pair of scizzors. I was sweing a blanket for my DD for Father's Day and I shook the scizzors off of my thumb (I had both hands on the blanket, sewing it through the machine) and somehow the scizzors landed in my calf. I bled for about 15 minutes and now I can barely walk.:bcb_mad2 how irritating... I am struggling right now to stay OP because I want to eat, but I can't do anything to eat the extra points, I'm a gimp.:bcb_march
Well ladies, I hope y'all have a great day, hopefully next years birthday will be better than this years with no injuries! Hey at least I got my bike and I will start riding hopefully next Monday...

Well my streak is over, I have to post a gain this week of .2. I am okay with it though considering my slip up was last night so the damage was minimal. I can't seem to get back into the losing mindset right now so I think I am going to stick to maintenance this week as the goal and then back to losing in the three weeks leading up to vacation. Hopefully if I give myself a week off to just maintain I can get motivated again for losses.

Connie- WTG on getting back below your goal!

Staying cool? Salt Lake City is having an unusual cold season. It feels like April weather, way colder than usual. I still have to take a jacket with me and so far, no one has broken out in a sweat because of the chill in the air... This is one of the coldest June's I have ever experienced since I was a kid. But it is great weather to have a fire in the back yard... hmmm, I think I just may do that.

Enjoy it then! It's been pushing 100 here in Atlanta for a week now....hard to breath! Today was a bit of reprieve though, I don't think it got out of the 80's!

Good evening buddies,

Well I am sorry to admit that I was NOT OP yesterday or Today. Didn't even journal. Didn't do REALLY bad, but didn't journal so i'm sure I went over. School was hectic and i'm busy trying to get all of my 4th and 5th grade material off shelves and into bins to bring home and trying to get my K-2 stuff together. Ordering alot of new things since my room is completely switching! It's busy busy busy! I just hvae no desire to work out and that's bad, but next week will be much better. Especially since i only have to work Monday Tuesday and 1/2 day Wednesday! :bcb_up

Connie: Glad to see you checked in and you're back down! WOOHOO!!

No time for personals. Its' 10pm and I have to put a bunch of stuff away that is all on my bed, so I can lay down on it! Have a great OP day tomorrow!
