View Full Version : Weekend Thread ~ 6/7 & 6/8

Good morning buddies,

Wow, the thread is so slow these days! :bcb_cry: I was totally MIA from the board yesterday because it was a hectic day at school and then when I got home I had to rush to get dinner for me and DS and then I had to get to the theater for 6pm for a quick run through of new songs before the Elvis show at 8pm (I sing back up for an Elvis Impersonator if I didn't tell you in the past). The show went really well and then I came home around 11:30pm and went right to be to get up at 6:30am this morning for my 7:30 WW meeting.

I'm actually please that I only gained .2 this week. I was expecting more like 2.2 with the food I ate all week, no journaling and hardly any exercise. NOT GOOD!! So I'll take the very small gain and really work on plans for this week. I'm at 206 and now I have 6.2 to lose to reach Onederland. My goal is to be at 199.8 by the end of July! I have alot of work ahead of me to lose 6.2lbs in 3 weeks! I CAN DO IT!!!

I have been struggling the past few weeks but today is a new day and a new week and i'm going to come up with a plan to get me through the week and have a great loss next Saturday! :bcb_up No more gaining or maintaining.

I'm off to Six Flags for the day and then I have an Elvis gig (I sing back up for an Elvis Impersonator) tonight at 8pm. So it will be a fun filled and busy as usual day for me....but I'll get alot of walking at the park!

Christen: I love your attitude and your motivation. Reading your post really boosted my motivation to get a great plan for this week! Thanks for being so positive and inspiring! I really need to get some good workouts in this week. It's just been so busy for me lately. ONly 7 1/2 more days of school and then I can really focus on me, my exercise and my environment. Keep up the great work!!

No more time for personals I have to get in the shower we are leaving for 6 flags in about 45 minutes!

Sorry, I hav been MIA, too.
I have been so busy, I sang backup for a rapper in a street concert today. I was at the park for most of the day today and I am beat. I haven't been able to log on, for some reason, BCB lost my log in and I had to reset it all. I am a little slow, and it took a while... :bcb_wink3

Hi all, just checking in, slow here too. I've decided that, at least for now, I am okay with things slowing down. If I lose 1/2 a week it is fine with me. I have started to enjoy a few things I wouldn't have before in moderation. I think that even though I still have another 5 lbs to go to get to my pgw, it is still important for me to understand how to maintain my weight so I feel this is a good strategy.

BTW, speaking of those few things, I found something I thought I'd share.... in our house we have always had "snack night" when we do something like watch a ballgame together, or movie... the kids always like to get something like pizza rolls for it. I found the light version of Michealina's has two snacks. Pizza rolls and buffalo bites. Two servings per box and a total of 4 pts a serving. They are actually really close to !the real thing
