Good morning ladies,
IT's a new day and i'm sooo glad to see that BCB is back up and running. I have been lost without you guys. I haven't been doing very well, not journaling, haven't had time to exercise. I was up at the beginning of the week and this morning the scale finally said it was back down to 205.8. PHEW!! Now i really have to journal, move and lose at least 1lb Saturday. I've been kind of yo-yo-ing the past few weeks and I need to get back on my steady weight loss again. Even if it's just 1 lb a week, I'll be happier with that then gain, then loss, gain, then loss. Here's to a better week and a successful month!
I posted the exercise and journaling threads for the week and I also posted the June goals thread! Let's get going ladies. We've been slowing down here a bit with our energy, motivation and posting. WE CAN DO THIS!!! The goal is attainable and we will only reach our goals if we don't give up! :bcbkickbu
Have a great day and I'll be back later tonight for some personals. I have a field trip today with my students, to the basketball Hall of Fame. The new building is GREAT and I love going there, it's so much fun. Most of my students have never been there so they are really going to enjoy themselves.

Wow! It's good to have BCB back. I was still journaling but it wasn't nearly as fun :bcb_down
The weather is horrible here. The tornado sirens were sounding last night so DH and I decided to stay home from the gym, this morning the storms are still going strong so I didn't do a morning run either. Oh well, I need to get over what I can't control and the weather deffinately isn't within my control. So I'll be off to the gym tonigh for strength training.
Next week I'm going back on Core, I need to make better food choices and stress less about perfect portions...and plan, I started making up a plan for next week and got Sat-Mon done, I'd like to have a full plan through Thursday to shop for this weekend.
Melissa : I've been doing the yo-yo thing too lately, luckily my losses are bigger than my gains but it's still a mojo blocker. Have fun on the field trip.

Good morning melissa and christen and all to follow!
I am so glad we are all back.OMG I thought at first something was wrong with my computer because I had made a few changes and deleted stuff to have more memory.I finally went on ds and then I knew something was wrong.Who would think you would get withdrawls from online friends.:bcb_cry:
I had a great trip and thought oh no I will probally have a bad weigh in but wi yesterday and lost 2lbs.:bcb_grinSo I feel pretty good.I bowled really well @ the tournament and will know in about 4 weeks when its over how I stand.I had 3 teams I was on that placed in the top.My singles was good and I bowled the best in doubles but my teammate didn't do as wellbcb_sad.We should still place in the money though.I averaged between a 188-190 for all my games so that was pretty good.I bowled a few 200's.Some of my other team mates place 1st and 3rd as of right now.
Any way I am so glad to be back on BCB.((HUGS)) to all of you.
Have a great op day.:bcb_march:bcb_march

Here is a nice nsv I had in louisville.
I decided to buy a shirt from the tournament and was looking at the extra large and the lady working there said ,You dont need the xl you should try the large.I went and tried it and it fit with plenty of room to spare. So I felt pretty good because @ one time I was wearing xxl and they were tight. She said I knew you was not big enough for the xl.I told her I was on ww and she said well it is definetly working for you.:bcb_grin Who would think wearing a size large shirt could make you feel good!

Ladies...I, too, have been struggling. But, I am back to doing really well. I have started Power 90, so we will see if I continue with it after my first 30days. So far, its pretty good.
We have GOT to get our motivation back and our enthusiasm!! What happenend to the months where we had 500+ posts???? That is when we were ALL doing great. Obviously, we need to post and talk as much as possible to succeed!!
Let's keep posting for awesome accountablity!! I REALLY missed you ladies!!!
DS will be one on Saturday!! Time flies by so fast, but I won't be on from tomorrow until Sunday night. I have some plans in place, so I hope I can just stick to them. I won't wi this Friday since I will be so busy, but I will wi next Friday(June 13th) and hope to be at least back down to what I was a few weeks ago(162.4)

Nikki : Have fun w/ the power 90.
So do any of you get up and do workouts in the morning? If so are they videos or do you get out of the house to exercise? I'd really like to start running a few mornings a week b/c the evenings are just miserable but I haven't been able to manage getting up more than 15minutes early. Any inovative ideas to get me out of bed w/ an extra hour to spare?

Hey, Christen
I workout around 6 every morning. I know I won't want to do it later, and probably won't, once the house is up and busy. I am hugely motivated if I am out & about later in the day and see someone jogging or walking- and I have already worked out !
For me, it's a basic-"have to do it early or it won't get done". If you have a friend that also works out early, one of you should make a phone call to get the other one up to workout. I did this with a friend a few years ago-and it really helped. I was accountable for getting her up, and if it was her week to call me, I had to get up to answer the phone ! Whatever it takes, as far as I am concerned.
Plus- seeing results over time is a GREAT motivator. DH and I take pics every 4 weeks to see how we are doing. Those changes are motivating to see, as well.
Good luck !
Bridget

Good evening buddies,
I'm here but I can't post all day because it's blocked on our network. :bcb_mad2 Anyway, that will all be over with in 9 1/2 school days. YIPEE!! Then I will be out of commission during the day for 3 weeks in July while I work theater camp, but that is so much fun and dancing all day, so alot of extra aps for me!
Today wasn't a total flop, but I forgot my journal at home and I went on a field trip and got some swedish fish and rolo's while I was at the basketball hall of fame. UGH!!! It could be worse, but it definitely wasn't good. I also ate almost a whole bag of pita chips. Those are pretty low in fat too, but it's 10 pts for the entire bag, I need to stop buying them because I tend to eat the whole bag throughout the day instead of putting my points towards healthy 8's...not good!
DS's coach called me to tell me soccer practice was cancelled today. It's been raining all day so the field must be pretty muddy. so I have the evening to myself. DS is here but he's pretty low maintenance and right now he's hanging outside with some friends of his. Dinner is steak and a baked potatoe with salad, which is pretty healthy. I'm going to take some time to plan the rest of my week and next week too. Gotta get back in motivation mode!
Nikki: I'm with you on that one! Where is everybody? I know that the more I post and the more time I spend on BCB the better I do. I've been struggling a bit the last few weeks but I've also been very busy, haven't been journaling and planning and haven't had the time to be on here as much as I'd like, so all of those things contribute to my struggle! I miss the 500+ days when we were all posing alot and really working on our goals. That's why I started the June 2008 goals thread. We really need to get back there and I am promising to be on here as much as possible. Because I like to help motivate everybody and it really helps me alot too!!
christen: I am not a morning person so getting up in the morning to exercise has never been my thing. I tried it for a few weeks, to get up at 5am and walk/jog in the morning making sure I was back here for 6 am to get my DS up for school. BUt I had to go to bed really early in order to function all day after getting up so early, and i'm such a night owl that going to bed early is hard for me. Especially when DS practices sometimes until 8/8:30pm. So i'm not sure what to tell you about that! Maybe some morning people can help you out!
Barbara: Congrats on the 2lb loss.....that's great! WOW, great numbers at bowling. I can't even get into the 100's most of the time!
Hi Bridget: I hope you had a great day! I dont' think I met you before so welcome to the group!
I think So yOu think you can dance is on tonight, so I'll be watching that. I really have to practice some back up for 12 new Elvis songs that we are putting into the show this weekend. Gotta love the Elvis guy, he forgot all about me and gave a CD that he burned to all the band members with all the new songs on them about 3 weeks ago and he just got me my CD on Thursday. I have been so busy all weekend that I haven't had time to practice any of them, since the show is on Fri/Sat/Sun I think I better do that tonight. WE have a rehearsal tomorrow night at 6pm.
Well I think I got personals for everybody that posted today. I hope that everybody in the group comes back and posts more often. I'd love to see more action here! I miss you guys! (Sheila, Anna, Cammie, Ellen, Connie, Abbie, Lissa, Irene, Missy and there are probably some people I forgot) XOXO

Hello ladies,
Sorry I have been MIA for a few days. I tried to log on yesterday but was not able to. I have been SOOO BUSY!!! but have been OP. Last Friday I was down 2 pounds and hopefully this week I'll be down a little bit more. In addition to being busy with my Real Estate business, I'm preparing for a dinner party at my house this weekend. I have been doing some major spring cleaning inside and out. I have earned lots of APs. I will catch up on personals later but I just wanted to check in.

reposting from the biggest loser thread....
My WI is tomorrow and I don't expect much out of it. I am so frustrated with this one restaraunt that I love but will NEVER eat at again..... I have eatten there three times since I started WW and each time my weight has jumped a lot over night. IF they cook things the way the menu describes then there is no way that would happen. I always order the chicken salad on a bagel and the description is light mayo.....each time I have had 15 pts to use on the meal and each time my weight has jumped 2-3 lbs overnight. I could say one or two times that it was just a fluke but all three times? So I have spent the week trying to get that back off and it's getting close, but still slightly up today.
Ugggg, my DH is a news reporter and I am so tempted to talk him into doing a story on restaraunts that lie on their menus! You know it could be quite dangerous when people have allergies to different things. So they only want to offer regular chicken salad, take the light off the menu and I'll order something else! Don't pretend you make a regular and a light version and serve us both the same thing, but charge me $1.00 more for the privledge of being lied to!
Sorry for the rant!lol
