I did it!!!! I went to bed at about 11:30pm. I didn't have 1 snack after 9:30pm! YIPEE!! I just kept telling myself that they are cravings, I do NOT need to eat anything, so stop thinking about it! Now I have to try it again tonight! I think it's like being OP, once you get a week under your belt it will probably start to get easier, so that's my goal, one week without eating anything at 9:30.

Sheila: sorry girl, I was going to start next week, but I figured, no time like the present. I really need to stop snacking and I only have like 4 waps left, so I started last night. But don't worry, I'll be doing it next week too. It will be a challenge for me for awhile!

Today is our last day of MCAS testing. I've started sorting through my classroom to get a head start on getting everything organized for next year. I had to go to staples last night and I found a great buy (clearance) on those binder clips. They are really cute designer ones that were on clearance for .50 cents. WOW, I got ton of them and I got a bunch of binders too! ONly 18 1/2 days left of school (counting today). We get out June 18th.

The scale is only down 1lb from last week, it still read 207.6....so maybe after today's gym workout and tomorrow's day of rest things will move a little more! We'll see! Tonight is the premiere of So You Think You Can Dance, I love that show! I can't wait until 8pm.

I hope everybody has a great OP day. (((Skinny vibes)))) for anybody weighing in today! XOXO

Melissa: I LOVE So you think you can dance!!! My favorite is the beginning when the people who "think" they can dance tryout and they really can't dance!!!LOL! GREAT JOB on not eating late last night! I knew you could do it! I am sure wi will be great for you too! After the weekend I had, I am hoping for at least a maintain.

Okay, I am about to experience my first challenge! I am going home this weekend. Lots of great food I can't get where I live now, but I am determined to stay on course and plan on staying totally CORE!! I know I can do this and I will succeed. I am so determined right now to get to goal and I really want to see some changes in my belly so I am really ready to make it happen. Please wish me luck. I leave tomorrow after my run and wi!

Have a great day ladies!!!

Hi everybuddy! Well under the advice of the DH I'm going to take the advice from my book and take a week off from lifting, I'm supposed to take a week off between each stage but I keep finding excuses not to. But since I'm still sore from Monday, I'm going to take the week off and restart stage 3 on Memorial day. I will still get 2 more runs in this week though. My scale is starting to get back to last weeks weigh in so I'm feeling a little better today about all that. I just need to relax and it'll come off when it wants to I guess.

Nikki: Good luck at home. Visiting my parents is always a struggle food wise so I deffinately feel your pain.

Abbie : on the new rules workouts, you could start out at home w/ some dumbells, a step and medicine ball, but after a few weeks you'll want to progress to heavy weights for maximum benefit and that's where a gym membership really comes in handy. There are a couple exercises (like seated rows) in stage 1 that you would use cable cords for and he provides at home variations for those exercises.

Good morning goal getters!
Well, I have to say I made terrible choices yesterday foodwise.I didnt eat until super late(10:00PM)I had the new pasta with chicken from pizza hut.I also had 2 breadsticks(What was I thinking?)and a half a piece of pizza(I shared with My dogs)DH wanted to order and they were so behind it took them over an hour to deliver.I did not go to bed until after midnight because I had to do some secret shopping reports on line.I felt bloated and miserable(Serves me right:bcb_sick:)
Dh actually wanted to go to the bowling alley earlier and can you believe he bowled 3 or 4 games? He looked rediculous with his brace on trying to bowl but didnt do to bad.I did good.I hope he dont regret it later. This morning he said he actually felt better.I recieved a free pedometer and exercise DVD(haven checked it out yet.)yesterday from tylenol.I will try them out today.
I also ordered for free a blood glucose monitor and strips from a site in the new Womans day magazine.DH is diabetic so I will see how it turns out.
Cant wait to go buy the new wi fitness game I heard it is awesome.
Hope all feels well And have a great op day.:bcb_march

Morning all. So I am back from my WI and down -.4 this week. Not great! I was expecting to have class this week and not be able to WI so I really wasn't pushing myself. Now it turns out next week is the meeting I am going to have to miss instead:bcb_down. Oh well, that will give me two weeks to get down 2.2 to goal, which I can definitely do!

Anyway, this week did teach me that I can maintain, so it's not a total loss!

Have a great day all!

Well I made it to the gym this morning (YAY!) it was so cold :bcb_down, you'd never believe that it was summer weather only 2 days ago. This is the joy of Utah weather! :bcb_grrrr My DD wanted to leae the warmth of our home even less than I did, but she said that she wouldn't make me go alone and dragged herself out of her warm bed. Hey if you guys are having a heat wave, you could always be in SLC, where it is supposed to be cold and rainy all weekend. There goes the BBQ's (a blessing in disguise?)
Barbara, I cringed when I read that your DH was bowling, it seems like it would hurt so bad (EEEK!)
Abbie, any loss is a good thing, you are doing a great job of maintaining and you are going to reach goal, oh yes you will...
Christen, I think that a rest will do you good. You're such a go-getter that you probably will have a rough time "resting". That is when 7 days can make a girl WEAK... JK!:bcb_grin
Nicki, I was a good girl today and didn't let the cold weather keep me in bed, thanks for the kick! :salut I hope I can return the favor...:bcb_wink3
Melissa, Way to go with the self-control! I never knew that I was a bored snacker until I started WW back in January. I thank the good Lord that I have you guys to keep me motivated.
Blessings,
Melissa

I'm totally inspired by all the exercise you all are doing. I'm going to begin training (very slowly) for the October half marathon. I need to get back into a training regime. That usually helps me focus on something healthier, which i desperately need to do now. ONe of my best friends is doing it with me this time!

Lissa - It is so great that your DD got out of bed to exercise with you! It's nice that you gals can bond over that. What great use of time!

Sheila - I totally agree that exercise helps with the binging. I just i could hit the gym everytime I feel like a binge. But it's so hard with the long hours at work. ONe morning workout just doesn't do it for me. So that's why i think i need the half marathon training to wear me out.

Abbie - Down is down. You are doing an AMAZING job. Look at your weekly track record!!!

I'm going to try posting my food journal (emm...also recording stuff would be good too) more often.

Good evening ladies,

Well so far so good today. I'm getting ready to take DS to his baseball practice and then i'm going to hit the gym hard while he's there, planning on earning 10 aps. Some high intensity aerobics and some weights and abs. Tomorrow will most likely be an OFF day for exercise unless I can fit a 30 min walk/run in, but I have my friends wedding rehearsal at 5pm, so there's not much I can do. Unless I get home with enough time to go for an evening walk before weigh in Saturday!

((((skinny vibes)))) for all Friday and weekend weighers!

I've got to run, but I'll be back to post tonight while i'm watching my SYTYCD premiere!

Nikki: I know what you mean! I love the auditions. Some people are just so awful and I love to watch people fall on their faces...I know, i'm awful! ha ha ha Yikes, sounds like this weekend IS going to be a challenge for you. Be strong!! YOU CAN DO IT GIRL!!

Anna: So good to see you back. MIssed you! YOu can do it girl, just post your journal with us and start training and hopefully everything else will fall into place. XOXO

Lissa: Woohoo for getting in your exercise. HOw sweet that DD went with you! That's great!!! It's really cold and rainy here....that's what you get when you live in New England.

ABbie: Too bad you had your meetings mixed up. YOu will totally reach your goal in two weeks. At least you lost something and you're that much closer to goal! WOW, only 2.2lbs to go! YOU GO GIRL!!

Barbara: I know how you feel after eating all of that. That was me last week and I do NOT want to do that again. So be sure to get back OP first thing tomorrow, don't let it go a week like I did! WOW, I can't believe that DH bowled in his condition. BRAVE MAN!!!

christen: Sometimes we just have to listen to our bodies and rest. That's how I felt on Tuesday. AFter working out hard on Saturday, Sunday and MOnday my body was screaming for a break! So I took one and went right back at it on Wednesday! It'll be good for you. I want to go get that book sometime soon. This week is too hectic for me but maybe Sunday I can go to Barnes and Noble!

Good evening ladies,

I'm just now getting the chance to check in. Hopefully everyone's day ended good. I had another great OP day and am looking forward to W/I tomorrow. I sure hope it's better than last week.

I had a great 3 mile walk first thing this morning. I think getting my workout in first thing helps me stay in control during the day.

Abbie - Congrats on your loss this week!!!

Nikki - Stay strong this weekend. I know you have the strength to stay in control
