Good morning ladies,

Not many posts yesterday, so maybe we should do a daily thread for the week days and then a WEEKEND thread for saturday and sunday combined?

Anyway, yesterday was a pretty good day. I did have a couple stupid snacks at night that I didn't have to have but in total I used all my aps and only 9 waps, and that included a nice meal out at an italian restaurant, which included a nice big salad, ziti w/ meat sauce (didn't eat it all) and 2 small rolls ( I couldn't resist they were warm). LOL. I made it to the gym during the day and earned 10 aps. I did 40 min of high intensity cardio (20 on the arc trainer and 20 on elliptical) and then another 20 min on the bike and 30 min of weights and 200 crunches. It was a great workout and I felt great. My scale this morning read 207.8, so it was down ALMOST a lb, I must have done something right yesterday! :bcb_bigsm

The show I went to see last night was GREAT and then I went to meet up with a friend of mine who performed in a DIFFERENT show. (I"m going to see her show next Sunday at 2pm) anyway, I knew where she would be hanging out so I went to meet her there and surprise her. I didn't have any drinks I just sat and enjoyed the company for about an hour and a half and then went home around 1am. I slept until 10:30am this morning. WOOHOO it felt good! ONly plans for today is that DS has a soccer game AND a baseball game.

I'm going to try to get a good walk/jog interval in. I was planning on going to the gym for another 90 min workout today, but I woke up to late and I have to make sure DS is up and ready and fed before his game! So I have to make a few changes, but I still will get in a decent workout and my abs! Maybe I"ll do a DVD tonight too.

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and staying OP! :bcb_up

Well, I gotta get a grip! Of course, since I am an emotional eater, I used that to consume large amounts of food. I gotta stop that. I had tons of company this weekend and just ate and ate...and ate.

But this is a new day and I am going to do good this week and this weekend. I am thinking about changing my wi day to Monday or Tuesdays again and that way it forces me to be good over the weekend. I had to do that one time before to get in control and it worked!

My sister is starting tomorrow so I am detoxing her on Core. We will be planning our meals and exercise. She is trying to lose 20lbs while she is on summer break. I told her that is more than possible if she has the mind and determination to get the job done.

Melissa: Sorry about your gain. I know the feeling though. I am doing damage control..AGAIN this week. I gotta break this cycle. But this is life and these things will happen and these things will pass.

WAY TO GO CHRISTEN!!!2LBS IS AWESOME! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
Ellen: Great job on the jogging!

Hi all....yep Melissa, weekends have always been quite with this group!

Sorry for both (Nikki and Melissa) of your struggles this week/weekend. I am finding myself famished and making some not so great choices myself. So I have 3 pts for dinner and any snack for the rest of the day. I am going to do a large salad for dinner for 1 pt (dressing), yogurt, and watermelon. Hopefully this will fill me up enough and as I am very tired I will go to bed early so I wont be tempted.

It's going to be a long week work wise....I only have one day off out of 8 days, so I will definitely have to plan well and pack my lunches. Part of the problem this weekend has been that I haven't been organized enough and so I have been eatting out a lot. One meal a day is okay, but when I am doing two, the pts add up and I find myself in a situation like tonight!

So here is to a better week for us all!

Hi Nikki and Abbie!

Well today was a great day. The weather was very weird so i'm so happy that I got my walk/run in earlier in the day. I did 60 min and earned 6aps and then did 200 crunches for 1ap. So I earned 7 aps for today. I planned my menu and exercise first thing when I woke up this morning and stuck to it very close. It's 8pm and I still have 5pts left, so I think I'll have some cereal before bed! :bcb_up

Nikki: You are right, these things will happen. I guess the real test is whether or not we get back on track or if we just let ourselves continue down the downward slope. I think we will both be fine! We just have to plan and stick to our plans!

Abbie: That's tough, but your plan sounds good. It's always good to go to bed early to help with snack attacks at night. I think i'm going to do the same tonight!

Tomorrow I will be doing my cardio kickboxing class and my students have MCAS testing again, so it should be a pretty easy day! I planned all my meals for the day breakfast, lunch and dinner! So I should be good again tomorrow! :bcb_up Have a great night everybody! XOXO

And that is exactly why you are both winners! A bad day, or even a bad week and I still have incredible faith that both of you will still do what it takes to get to goal!:bcb_bigsm
