Morning all. News this morning on my uncle that they had switched antibiotics and this one appears to be helping, so that is good news. Still iffy, but much more positive than before!
Looks like I have bounced back more quickly than the past from my night of indulgence. I am still up slightly, but only about .4. Yesterday I was up about 1.4 lbs, so it seems that my body is snapping back quicker. I can't understand though, why my body seems to do this. Truthfully I maybe went over my daily pts by 15 at the most. That shouldn't equate to be up 1.4 lbs over night if 3500 calories equals a lb. It seems every time I go over pts by more than 4 I am up at least a lb overnight.
Who knows, I guess as long as it evens itself out by the next week it's okay!
Have a happy saturday all!

THANKS!! Yeah, I lost 2 pounds this week and I'm just so freakin' pleased with myself :bcb_bigsm I actually did a woohoo while I was on the scale at w/i. It's my biggest loss since I actually started going to meetings too.
Anyway, I don't have much planned for the weekend. Just walked down to walgreens for a diet coke. I figure I deserved the treat after my good loss and I'll be back to just water through the week. DH and I are going to the gym when he gets off work at 3:00. I wanted to go down to an amusement park this evening but it doesn't look like the weather is going to hold up for that. :bcb_down The water park opens next Saturday so maybe we'll get to go then. I really can't wait, I just tried on my old bathing suit and it look SOOOO much better on me than it did in October.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Well I sucked it up and went to Weigh in this morning to face the dreaded scale. I really wanted to stay home and use a pass, but that's just not me....so I went....and I gained 3.6...so everything I lost last week (except .2) I gained back this week. This has motivated me BIG TIME!! I planned my meals and my exercise for the week and i'm going to stick to it 100%. I am heading to the gym in a little while to do an hour of cardio and 30 min of weights and abs. I will have this 3.6 gone by next weigh in!
Saturdays are always so busy...today I had weigh in, went to three different grocery stores and got an oil change. Now i'm going to go to the gym and then i'm going out to dinner with some friends and we are meeting about theater camp and then i'm going to see a show afterwards. One of my friends is the musical director, the other is the director, one of them wrote the musical and my brother is playing the drums. I"m excited to see it! It should be a good night and I will be good at dinner! I have to look over some Italian restaurant points. I know i'm going to have a big salad and not sure what after that. Either cheese pizza (only a few slices) or pasta with marinara, that shouldn't be too bad.
Well I still have a few more things to get done before I go out tonight. I hope you are all having a great OP Day! I AM!!!! :bcb_up I have to head over and post on the journaling thread next. XOXO
Christen: WOOHOO is right! 2lbs is awesome! WAY TO GO!!
Abbie: Good to hear that it's only .4 up now. Our bodies are so weird and unpredictable, it could TOTALY have been just water weight and sodium, that's why it went down quickly. :bcb_up I"m glad to hear the positive news about your uncle!

Good afternoon Ladies,
I happened to notice that Cristen lost 2lbs. WTG! Hard work pays off and you're doing a great job at it.
Melissa, I am sorry that your WI was not very good. The one thing that I have noticed about you though, is that you are like a Weeble (remember the toy?) Weebles wobble but they don't fall down. You always jump back up and make up for it in the next week. Remember my mom's advice from yesterdays thread... You will be fine, this is a lifestyle change and right now you are learning what does and doesn't work for your body. It's a lifestyle, not a diet, a healthy lifestyle.
Abbie, I think that you are getting too skinny... JUST KIDDING! My mom said that to me the other day. I actually got to wear my 9-10's that I treid on last week today. WOO HOO! You are only a matter of ounces from your goal, what is it aproximately 40 oz.? WTG!
You ladies have a wonderful rest of the weekend.
Blessings,
Melissa

WTG, Ellen, building up stamina is the way to go! When I go out to dinner with the fam, I cheat :bcb_blush and eat some oatmeal before so that I don't have as hearty an appetite. I love special occasions, but I really want to stick to my new life style. Whatever you do, it will all work out in the long run because ultimately all of this is about our lifestyle change. Good job on the workout.Blessings,
Melissa
